Claims (27)
- 車両の運転者に対し運転者支援を行うための方法であって、

物体からの前記放射可視光の反射/後方散乱を受け取ることと、
受け取った前記反射/後方散乱および前記所定のモードに応じて前記物体の存在および位置のうちの少なくとも一方を識別することと、

前記物体の前記存在および前記位置に応じて前記車両の前記運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を活性化することとを含む請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記補助光源を駆動することは、人間の肉眼には見えない光を放射するように前記補助光源を駆動することを含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 所定のモードで可視光を放射するように前記可視光源を駆動することは、50ns未満の幅を持つ光パルスを出力するように発光ダイオードにパルス発生動作をさせることを含む請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記車両の前記運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を活性化することは、前記車両のダッシュボード上のインジケータを活性化することを含む請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記車両の動作を活性化することは、前記車両のクラクションを鳴らすこと、車両の速度を調節すること、前記車両のブレーキを制御すること、前記車両のステアリングを制御すること、前記可視光の光度を調節すること、警告光を放射すること、および前記車両の運転席内に警告音を鳴らすことのうちの少なくとも1つを含む請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 所定のモードで可視光を放射するように前記可視光源を駆動することは、他の車両によって放射された可視光からの干渉を回避するために一意的なシグネチャ変調を使用することを含む請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 他の所定のモードで光を放射するように前記補助光源を駆動することは、他の車両によって放射された可視光からの干渉を回避するために一意的なシグネチャ変調を使用することを含む請求項7および8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 運転者支援照明システムであって、
可視光を放射し、前記車両に隣接する環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射する可視光放射機能を有する、光源と、
所定のモードで可視光を放射するように前記光源を駆動するための光源コントローラであって、前記車両に隣接する環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射する前記機能を前記光源が維持するように前記光源コントローラによって駆動されている間に光が人間の肉眼に見えたままである、光源コントローラと、
物体によって反射/後方散乱された前記可視光を検出し検出データを生成するように適合された光学検出器と、
前記光学検出器から検出データを受け取り、前記所定のモードおよび前記検出データに応じて前記物体の存在および位置のうちの少なくとも一方に関連付けられているデータ出力を生成するデータ/信号プロセッサと、
前記車両の運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を前記データ出力に応じて活性化するための運転者支援プロセッサシステムとを備える運転者支援照明システム。 - 前記データ/信号プロセッサは、前記運転者支援プロセッサシステムからのコマンドに応じて光度を調節するように前記光源を制御する請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光学検出器は、それぞれが特定の角度ゾーンを検出する複数の副検出器を備える請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光源の放射光の照射範囲内で前記光学検出器の視野の走査動作を行わせるための前記光学検出器に関連する走査機構をさらに備える請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光学検出器は、複数の副検出器を並べたアレイを備える請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光源コントローラは、前記所定のモードで前記可視光源を駆動するためのパルス/変調ドライバを備える請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光源コントローラは、前記車両の前記環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射するのに適した光度の光を放射するように前記光源を駆動するための照明ドライバを備える請求項19に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光源は、複数の光を有しており、前記光源の前記光のうちの少なくとも1つの光は道路を照らすように前記照明ドライバによって駆動され、その一方で、前記光源の前記光のうちの少なくとも他の1つの光は前記所定のモードで前記可視光を放射するように前記パルス/変調ドライバによって駆動される請求項20に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光学検出器は、前記反射/後方散乱可視光の与えられた光波長のフィルタ処理を行うフィルタ処理デバイスを有する請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記可視光源と同時に他の所定のモードで補助光を放射するための補助光源をさらに備え、物体から受け取った前記補助光の前記反射/後方散乱は前記物体に関連する前記データ出力を生成するために使用される請求項14に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記補助光源は、非可視光源を備える請求項23に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記光源は、発光ダイオード光源を備える請求項14から24までのいずれか1項に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記運転者支援プロセッサシステムは、前記車両のダッシュボード上で信号を放射することによって前記車両の前記運転者との相互作用を活性化する請求項14から25までのいずれか1項に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記運転者支援プロセッサシステムは、前記車両のクラクションを鳴らすこと、前記車両の速度を調節すること、前記車両のブレーキを制御すること、前記車両のステアリングを制御すること、前記可視光の光度を調節すること、警告光を放射すること、および前記車両の運転席内に警告音を鳴らすことのうちの少なくとも1つによって前記車両の動作を活性化する請求項14から25までのいずれか1項に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
