Claims (7)

前記単一の可視光源は、単一の発光ダイオードを含み、
前記単一の可視光を所定のモードで放射するように前記単一の可視光源を駆動することは、50ns未満の幅を持つ光パルスを出力するように前記単一の発光ダイオードにパルス発生動作をさせることを含み、
前記光学検出器は、それぞれが特定のゾーンを検出する複数の副検出器を備え、
さらに、
前記車両の単一の可視光源に関連して補助光源を備えることと、
他の所定のモードで前記補助光源を駆動して補助光を放射することと、
物体からの前記補助光の反射/後方散乱を受け取ることと、
前記補助光から受け取った前記反射/後方散乱および前記他の所定のモードに応じて前記物体の前記存在および前記位置のうちの少なくとも一方を識別することと、
前記物体の前記存在および前記位置に応じて前記車両の前記運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を活性化することとを含み、
前記所定のモードで前記単一の可視光源を駆動することは、前記単一の可視光を変調することを含み、
前記物体の存在および位置のうちの少なくとも一方を識別することは、前記単一の可視光を放射してから前記物体からの前記反射/後方散乱を受け取るまでの時間遅延を測定することによって前記物体の少なくとも距離を計算することを含み、
前記距離を計算することは、前記距離を連続的に計算して前記物体の速度を計算することを含み、
前記車両の前記運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を活性化することは、前記車両のダッシュボード上のインジケータを活性化することを含み、 前記車両の動作を活性化することは、前記車両のクラクションを鳴らすこと、車両の速度を調節すること、前記車両のブレーキを制御すること、前記車両のステアリングを制御すること、前記可視光の光度を調節すること、警告光を放射すること、および前記車両の運転席内に警告音を鳴らすことのうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
他の車両によって放射された可視光からの干渉を回避するために独特のシグネチャ変調を使用するように前記単一の可視光源を駆動することをさらに含む、方法。 - 前記反射/後方散乱を受け取ることは、与えられた光波長のフィルタ処理を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記補助光源を駆動することは、人間の肉眼には見えない光を放射するように前記補助光源を駆動することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 運転者支援照明システムであって、
少なくとも1つの可視光を放射すると共に、車両に隣接する環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射する可視光放射機能を有する、単一の可視光源を備え、
所定のモードで単一の可視光を放射するように駆動データを使用して前記単一の光源を駆動するための光源コントローラを備え、前記所定のモードでは、前記車両に隣接する環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射する前記機能を前記単一の光源が維持するように前記光源コントローラによって駆動されている間に光が人間の肉眼に見えたままであり、前記光源コントローラは、所定のモードで前記単一の光源を駆動して、放射可視光パルスを有するパルス状の可視光信号を発生するパルス/変調ドライバを有し、
物体によって反射/後方散乱された前記単一の可視光を検出し、検出された可視光パルスを有する検出データを生成するように適合された光学検出器を備え、該光学検出器は、アナログ/デジタルコンバータを含み、前記反射/後方散乱された単一の可視光は、前記アナログ/デジタルコンバータによって収集レートでサンプルされ、
前記光学検出器からの検出データと前記駆動データとを受け取り、前記駆動データによって駆動されて放射された可視光パルスと前記検出データでサンプルされる前記検出された可視光パルスとの間の関係を使用して、前記所定のモードおよび前記検出された反射/後方散乱された単一の可視光に応じて、前記物体の存在および位置のうちの少なくとも一方に関連付けられているデータ出力を生成するデータ/信号プロセッサを備え、前記データ/信号プロセッサは、さらに、前記所定のモードおよび前記検出データを使用して前記環境の視認性を検出し、前記視認性は、前記データ出力を含み、前記視認性は、前記環境内の霧、雪、埃、煙、雨、氷、ガス、液体、浮遊微小粒子およびスモッグのうちの少なくとも1つの存在であり、
前記物体の存在、前記物体の位置および前記データ/信号プロセッサによって検出された視認性のうちの少なくとも一つに応じて前記車両の運転者との相互作用および前記車両の動作のうちの少なくとも一方を活性化するための運転者支援プロセッサシステムを備え、
前記単一の光源は、単一の発光ダイオードを含み、前記光源コントローラは、50ns未満の幅を持つ光パルスを出力するように前記単一の発光ダイオードにパルス発生動作をさせるように構成され、
前記光学検出器は、それぞれが特定のゾーンを検出する複数の副検出器を備え、
前記単一の光源と同時に他の所定のモードで補助光を放射するための補助光源をさらに備え、物体から受け取った前記補助光の前記反射/後方散乱は前記物体に関連する前記データ出力を生成するために使用され、
前記パルス/変調ドライバは、他の車両によって放射された可視光からの干渉を回避するために独特のシグネチャ変調を使用するように前記単一の可視光源を駆動するように構成され、
前記データ/信号プロセッサは、前記運転者支援プロセッサシステムからのコマンドに応じて光度を調節するように前記光源を制御するように構成され、
前記光源コントローラは、前記車両の前記環境に光を照射するかまたは信号を放射するのに適した光度の光を放射するように前記単一の光源を駆動するための照明ドライバを備え、
前記運転者支援プロセッサシステムは、前記車両のクラクションを鳴らすこと、前記車両の速度を調節すること、前記車両のブレーキを制御すること、前記車両のステアリングを制御すること、前記可視光の光度を調節すること、警告光を放射すること、および前記車両の運転席内に警告音を鳴らすことのうちの少なくとも1つによって前記車両の動作を活性化するように構成されている、運転者支援照明システム。 - 前記光源の放射光の照射範囲内で前記光学検出器の視野の走査動作を行わせるための前記光学検出器に関連する走査機構をさらに備える請求項4に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記単一の光源は、複数の光を有しており、前記単一の光源の前記複数の光のうちの少なくとも1つの光は道路を照らすように前記照明ドライバによって駆動され、その一方で、前記単一の光源の前記複数の光のうちの他の1つの光は前記所定のモードで単一の可視光を放射するように前記パルス/変調ドライバによって駆動される請求項4に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
- 前記補助光源は、非可視光源を備える請求項4に記載の運転者支援照明システム。
