Abstract

U proizvodnji pitkih alkohola koristi se jedan stepen kontinualne fermentacije da unese i/ili početno fermentira jednu pivsku širu koja sadrži šećere koji se mogu fermentirati. Jedan primer kontinualne faze obuhvata primenu jednog bioreaktora sa usponim protokom nekog gasa koji koristi superflokularni kvasac i strogu kontrolu kiseonika. Potom se kontinualna faza može nastaviti upućivanjem bar delimično fermentisane izlazne materije iz kontinualnog procesa u jedan stepen obrade po partijama radi završne obrade.[In the production of potable alcohols, a continuous fermentation stage is employed to pitch and/or initially ferment a wort containing fermentable sugars. An exemplary continuous stage involves the use of a gas lift bioreactor employing superflocculant yeast and stringent oxygen control. The continuous stage can then be followed by sending an at least partially fermented discharge from the continuous process to a batch processing stage for finishing.
