Description
(1)ヒドロキシル基およびカルボキシル基の生成は、オゾン、酸素、NOX 、SOX などのガス雰囲気にカーボンブラックを曝す方法、低温酸素プラズマで処理する方法、オゾン水、過酸化水素水、ペルオキソ2酸あるいはその塩類、次亜ハロゲン酸塩、重クロム酸塩、過マンガン酸塩、硝酸などの酸化剤水溶液に入れて攪拌混合する方法、などの気相酸化処理や液相酸化処理する方法。
(2)アミノ基の生成は、硝酸/硫酸混合系で酸化してニトロ基を生成させ、ホルムアルデヒドなどの還元剤で還元する方法。
(3)スルホン基の生成は、濃硫酸でスルホン化する方法。
(4)エポキシ基の生成は、ヒドロキシル基、カルボキシル基にエポキシ基を有するハロゲン化物を反応させる方法。
などの方法で化学修飾する。
カーボンブラックに東海カーボン(株)製TB#7550Fを用い、酸化剤水溶液(濃度2Nの過硫酸ナトリウム水溶液)中で液相酸化した後、濾別、洗浄、乾燥してpH2の酸化カーボンブラックを試料を作製した。
実施例1と同じカーボンブラックを用いてオゾンにより気相酸化して、pH2.5の酸化カーボンブラックを試料を作製した。
カーボンブラックにDegussa社製SpecialBlack4(pH2.3)を用いた他は、実施例1と同じ方法により表面改質カーボンブラック分散体3を得た。
実施例1において、酸化処理を施さないカーボンブラック(東海カーボン製TB#7550F、pH6.8)を用いた他は、実施例1と同じ方法により表面改質カーボンブラック分散体4を得た。
実施例1において、イソシアネート化合物を使用しない他は、実施例1と同じ方法により表面改質カーボンブラック分散体5を得た。
Claims (1)
- 両末端にイソシアネート基を有するイソシアネート化合物を溶媒に溶解し、該溶液中に官能基を生成するよう化学修飾されたカーボンブラックを加えて混合し、カーボンブラック粒子表面に生成された官能基に一方の末端のイソシアネート基を化学結合させ、未反応のイソシアネート化合物を除去した後、シリコーンオイルに分散させ、片末端に官能基を有するポリシロキサン構造の反応性シリコーン系ポリマーを添加して攪拌、脱泡、混練し、他の末端のイソシアネート基と前記反応性シリコーン系ポリマーの官能基を化学結合させ、得られた混練物をシリコーンオイルで希釈、混練し、加熱処理して溶媒を除去してなり、シリコーンオイル中で優れた分散性を有するカーボンブラックを得ることを特徴とする表面改質カーボンブラックの製造方法。
