Abstract
一种胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,系于支持体上备有之颜料涂布层基材之颜料涂工层上,理想上再涂抹上一层含有表面胶剂与塑料颜料之表面层,可得一印刷前透气抵抗度未达80000秒,印刷后其非划线部分之透气抵抗度与印刷前相比可降低8000秒以上。本发明所得之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,可抑制于胶版印刷时以及印刷后之干燥工程中易产生的皱折,于防起泡性等性能上也非常卓越。

技术领域
本发明系有关一于胶版转轮印刷之干燥工程后不易发生皱折,具有优良印刷性能之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
背景技术
近年来,印刷品常以照片或图案来呈现,在如此进一步的彩色化之下,利用视觉效果将内容强力传导(以下简称可视化)之意欲也逐渐增强。另一方面,为了节省能源以及运输成本,印刷品之轻量化也为一趋势。而这两种期望为恰好互为相反,适用于可视化之高级涂工纸其原纸之坪量及涂工量多,价格高,与轻量及低价格之期望不符。因此,研发将低坪量、低涂工量之所谓轻量低价格之低级涂工纸的品质向上提升的技术是非常必要的。
再者,要判断涂工纸品质之重要项目之一。便是判断胶版转轮印刷之干燥过程中是否有发生皱折。于胶版转轮印刷之干燥过程中,非划线部份与墨水着色之划线部份之间,其纸中水分的蒸发速度不同。非划线部份与划线部份相比,因为其水分蒸发速度较快,会先开始收缩,划线部份之流线方向(抄纸方向)便会产生皱折。皱折因于坪量低时较易产生的缘故,成为欲将涂工纸轻量化的一大障碍。
由于皱折为纸中水分蒸发速度不同所产生的缘故,于印刷前将涂工纸之水分降低,可有效抑制皱折的产生。
但是,将涂工纸水分降低时,虽然皱折相对会减少,但还是无法达到相当的标准。
且,特开平11-350391号公报中有提到,将碱化度85莫耳%以上之聚乙烯醇于原纸之两面,以干燥重量1~6g/m2的量涂抹,使用此干燥后之原纸,可抑制其收缩运动。但,PVA的粘度高,不好涂抹,不适合连续性的操作作业,也没有防起泡的作用发生。
发明内容
有鉴于如上状况,本发明系以提供一于胶版转轮印刷之干燥工程后不易发生皱折,具有优良印刷性能之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
透过本案发明者针对以上的问题努力研究结果发现,藉由于支持体上备有之颜料涂布层基材之颜料涂工层上,再涂抹上一层含有表面胶剂的表面层后,于胶版转轮印刷时,可得一能抑制皱折产生的印刷用涂工纸。本发明中之表面层为了抑制皱折的产生,以及提升防起泡等适于印刷之性能,表面层中含有表面胶剂及塑料颜料为其理想,而表面胶剂与塑料颜料之总重量达100重量部,表面胶剂以50重量部以上95重量部以下最为理想。
再者,藉由设置本发明之表面层,可抑制皱折产生的理由,有以下几点。据推测皱折是于胶版转轮印刷之干燥工程中,因非划线部份与划线部份之收缩率不同所产生的。于干燥过程中,因纸中的水分蒸发其纸本身开始收缩,划线部份因为其上部覆盖有墨水的缘故,抑制水分的蒸发,其收缩情况也降低。有鉴于此,将涂工层上再清漆涂层上一层表面胶剂后,可抑制其非划线部份之水分蒸发,减小两部分收缩率差,变得不易产生皱折。
本发明中,藉由塑料颜料及表面胶剂之组合溶剂,可更进一步提升防起泡及墨水粘附性等印刷适性。
再者,本发明之于含有原纸上的颜料以及具有接着剂涂工层之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸中,藉由印刷前透气抵抗度为未达80000秒,印刷后非划线部份之透气抵抗度相对于印刷前低了8000秒以上,可缩小非划线部分与划线部份之水分蒸发的速度差异,可得一不易产生皱折,有优良印刷品质之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。藉由此制造方法,可得一少皱折,有优良印刷品质之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,来解决上述问题而达成本发明之要旨。
于本发明中,印刷前之透气抵抗度在80000秒以上时,即使降低胶版转轮印刷后之透气抵抗度到达8000秒以上,透气抵抗度之绝对值仍保持居高不下。透气抵抗度高时,覆盖有墨水之划线部份容易产生气泡,不适合胶版转轮印刷。
再者,印刷后非划线部分之透气抵抗度与印刷前相比,减低至8000秒以上,或20000秒以上更为理想,藉此,非划线部分与划线部份之透气抵抗度落差减小,可抑制皱折的产生。
本案发明中,藉由降低印刷后非划线部分的透气抵抗度达8000秒以上,可抑制皱折产生的理由,虽然并非很明确,但可举出下列几点说明之。意即,胶版转轮印刷干燥时,涂工层表面会产生些许的裂纹,选择性地抽掉空气,非划线部分之透气抵抗度减弱,而覆盖有墨水之划线部份之透气抵抗度也较普通时弱的缘故,非划线部分与划线部份透气抵抗度差异变小,藉由非划线部分与划线部份之水蒸发速度差变小,可抑制皱折的产生。透气抵抗度之低下未满8000的话,其非划线部分与划线部份之透气抵抗度差异大,很难完全抑制皱折的产生。
且,其非划线部份与划线部份之透气抵抗度差,藉由四重色印刷部分与非划线部分设定为40000秒以内后,其抑制皱折产生的效果显着。
本发明中所使用之基材,因高光泽与印刷适性为两立的缘故,得于原纸上再涂布上含有颜料及接着剂之颜料涂工层才行。就原纸来说,只要其上涂有颜料涂工层的皆可,并无特别限制,可使用中质纸或上质纸、报纸、片艳纸、照相凹板纸等等非涂工纸。于非涂工纸上设置颜料涂工层之方法,虽然利用普通颜料涂工纸之制造法就很足够了,但为了达到所期望的品质,涂料中的颜料、接着剂的种类以及颜料和接着剂的用量比例可适宜变更使用之。
本发明中涂工层之颜料,可使用以往常用之高岭土、陶土、脱层陶土、重质碳酸钙、轻质碳酸钙、滑石、二氧化钛、硫酸钡、硫酸钙、氧化亚铅、硅酸、硅酸塩、胶态二氧化硅、缎光白、等无机颜料以及塑料颜料等有机颜料,单独或合并使用两种以上皆可。本发明为了提升其光泽度和印刷性能,于100重量部之颜料中,高岭土使用量占50重量部以为理想。
本发明中使用于颜料涂工层之接着剂,可使用以往常用之苯乙烯、丁二烯、苯乙烯、丙烯酸系、乙醇.醋酸乙烯系、丁二烯.甲基丙烯酸酯系、醋酸铝、丁醇丙烯酸酯系等各种聚合物,以及聚乙烯醇、无水顺丁烯二酸聚合物、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸酯系共聚物等等的合成接着剂,干酪素、大豆蛋白、合成蛋白之蛋白质类、氧化淀粉、阳离子化淀粉、尿素磷酸酯化淀粉、羟乙基酯化淀粉等酯化淀粉,等淀粉类,以及糊精、羧乙基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素等等一般涂工纸用接着剂中,是需要选择一种以上使用便可。这些接着剂相对于100颜料重量部,大约占5~50重量部,更理想为10~25重量部程度范围皆可。特别是,为了使其墨水之干燥性更优越,苯乙烯.丁二烯系共聚物乳胶于100重量部颜料中,使用量达13重量部以下较为理想。再者,是需要可再适宜的添加分散剂、增粘剂、保水剂、耐水化剂、着色剂、提升印刷适性剂等,一般配合涂工纸用涂工组成物之各种助剂。再者,为了让涂工及印刷适性都能更进一步提升,本发明涂工液之固形分浓度调节至45~65重量%较为理想。
就涂工原纸来说,使用于一般涂工纸之坪量约为25~400g/m2之基材纸或基材板纸之原纸皆可。原纸之抄纸方法并无特别限定,含有面金属线之长网机器、圆网机器、两者并用之板纸机器、洋基干燥器等皆可使用,酸性抄纸、中性抄纸、碱性抄纸等方式所制之原纸皆可使用,当然,含有机械性纸浆的中质原纸以及含回收纸纸浆之原纸皆可使用。
再者,使用压式胶料、比尔叶片、闸式辊轮机、预先以金属包覆之(pre-metaling)压式胶料,氧化淀粉、阳离子化淀粉、尿素磷酸酯化淀粉、羟乙基酯化淀粉等酯化类淀粉、以及糊精、聚乙烯醇、藻酸等预备涂工原纸以及涂上含有一层以上颜料及接着剂之预备涂工原纸等皆可使用。
而构成原纸之纸浆,如化学纸浆(针叶树的晒或未晒之大型纸浆、宽叶树的晒或未晒之大型纸浆等)、机械纸浆(大型纸浆、感温机械纸浆、化学感温机械纸浆等)、脱墨纸浆(原纸纸浆)可单独或以任意比例混合使用之。
而原纸之pH质不论酸性、中性、碱性皆可。且,纸中填料种类也无特别限定。水和硅酸、白炭黑(whitecarbon)、滑石、高岭土、陶土、碳酸钙、氧化钛、合成树脂填料等众所周知的颜料皆可使用。视需要可再加入硫酸铝、胶剂、纸力增强剂、成品提升剂、着色剂、染料、消泡剂等等。
调整过之涂工液系使用刮刀式辊轮机、焊片试辊轮机、轮轴式辊轮机、气刀辊轮机、逆向辊轮机、幕式淋涂机、压式胶剂滚轮机、闸式辊轮机等,涂上一层或两层于原纸两面上。涂抹量理想上单面大约2~40g/m2,8~20g/m2的涂抹量更理想。
而关于让湿润涂工层干燥之方法,举例来说,如蒸气过热气筒、加热热风空气干燥器、瓦斯加热器、电暖炉干燥器、红外线加热干燥器等各种方法,可单独或合并使用之。
接下来,视需要涂抹一含有表面胶剂及塑料颜料之涂工液,形成一表面层。本发明之表面层用涂工液是由可调整涂工层表面强度之一般涂工纸用的天然以及合成树脂接着剂、于涂抹时,可调节涂料涂抹流畅性之流动调节剂及消泡剂、以及用于减少辊压机滚筒黏附之离型剂、和可于涂工层表面着色之着色剂等、也可加入少量颜料等一起使用之。就涂工量来说,通常单面约0.1g/m2以上,更理想为0.3~3g/m2的量便很足够了。而表面涂工液之涂抹方法,一般纸涂工领域所使用的刮式辊轮机、轮轴式辊轮机、气刀辊轮机等皆可使用。涂抹后之干燥,也使用一般制造涂工纸所适用之干燥条件作为表面层便可。
如上所述之涂工干燥后的涂工纸,以超级辊压机以及高温软式钳板式辊压机等平滑处理为理想。特别是于秤量为25~120的涂工纸上最看得到本案所欲追求的卓越效果。
本发明于原纸上涂抹一层颜料涂工层后,再于此颜料涂工层上再涂上一层由表面胶剂与塑料颜料合成之混和剂作为表层,也可于再上一层前先使用超级辊压机光泽辊压机、以及高温软式钳板式辊压机等平滑处理颜料涂工层。
于本发明中,如要将印刷前的透气抵抗度为未达80000秒,印刷后其非划线部分之透气抵抗度与印刷前相比可降低8000秒以上,其方法并无限定,但就具体方法来说,有于涂抹颜料前,先涂上藻酸.淀粉混合液等,使原纸本身透气抵抗度提高之方法,抑或是于涂抹上颜料后,再涂上一层胶剂与塑料颜料等表层的方法,也可两方法并用之。
具体实施方式
本发明中使用于表层之表面胶剂可使用苯乙烯.丙烯系、苯乙烯.顺丁烯二酸系、苯乙烯.甲基丙烯酸系、烯属系以及氨基甲酸酯系等共聚物之表面胶剂,单独或合并使用皆可。本发明之胶剂可分为溶液型抑或是乳液型,透过热风干燥或辊压机处理过后,可避免产生粒状物。于此之中,理想上可使用苯乙烯.丙烯系、烯属系以及苯乙烯.顺丁烯二酸系共聚物,特别是单独或合并使用苯乙烯.丙烯系胶剂时,可制出拥有更高光泽度的涂工纸。使用聚合平均分子量约1000~500000的更为理想。
本发明中使用于表层之塑料颜料为热可塑性聚合体或共聚体之乳液粒子,玻璃转移温度80℃以上为理想,即使经过热风干燥或辊压机处理过后仍维持其粒状现象。为核心外壳之形状时,外壳部分的玻璃转移温度可达80℃以上。如可达到80℃以上玻璃转移温度的话,其构成聚合体或共聚体之单量体的种类及制造方法就无特别限定。理想上如苯乙烯及其诱导体、氯乙烯、丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸酯等单量体皆可使用。而热可塑性聚合体的玻璃转移温度并无特别设定上限,主要是依制造热可塑性聚合体时所使用之单量体的种类及可塑剂等添加物来决定,通常,上限约为130℃。如使用玻璃移转温度80℃以下的聚合体或共聚体,所得涂工纸的光泽度低,使用辊压机处理时易发生粘着于辊压机滚轴的问题。再者,本发明之热可塑性聚合体的粒子大小,以高光泽和表面强度等点考量下,平均粒径150nm以下较佳,而再更小,平均粒径为100nm以下更为理想。
本发明中,理想上是将塑料颜料添加上表面胶剂之混合液作为表面层涂抹于颜料涂工层之上,但于不损坏本发明目范围内,本发明之表面层用涂工液是由可调整涂工层表面强度之一般涂工纸用的天然以及合成树脂接着剂、于涂抹时,可调节涂料涂抹流畅性之流动调节剂及消泡剂、以及用于减少辊压机滚筒黏附之离型剂、和可于涂工层表面着色之着色剂、以及少量的颜料等一同混合搭配,作为表面层用涂工液使用之。而塑料颜料及表面胶剂之固态份量含大约80~100重量%较为理想。将如此得出之表面层用涂工液涂抹于颜料涂工层上,作为一表面层。其涂抹量适所希望的性质可适当的调整,但如涂抹量太多,不仅是成本会升高,墨水吸收度也会降低,墨水组变不足之外,表层强度也会降低等等劣质化现象会产生。因此,涂抹量太多并非有利,一般来说,单面大约0.1g/m2以上,理想上大约0.3~3g/m2的量就很足够了。
关于表面层涂工液之涂抹,可利用一般纸涂工领域中使用的刮式辊涂机、轮轴式辊轮机、气刀辊轮机、焊片试辊轮机、凹板式辊轮机、橡皮凸板式辊轮机等。而涂抹后的干燥,本发明因使用了热可塑性聚合体及表面胶剂,不需要设定特别的条件,使用一般制造涂工纸的干燥条件,便可得最适合本发明之表层。
如此工程下所得之印刷用涂工纸,于辊压机处理时,也可并用使用于一般涂工纸平滑处理之超级辊压机、光泽辊压机、高温软式钳板式辊压机等等。本发明中,金属滚轴的温度大约为100℃以上或150℃以上,即使使用辊压机处理,涂工面与辊压机滚轮的拨离性能也很优良。
本发明中,借着将涂工纸水分控制在4.5%以下,更理想为4.0%以下,可提升抑制皱折产生之效果,光泽度亦更卓越。
实施例
以下将举出实施例来具体说明本案之发明,本发明依照实施例,并无特别限制。
再者,实施例中所示之部以及%,在无特别说明之下,皆指固形分重量部及固形分重量%而言。
(评价方法)
(1)皱折:胶版转轮印刷之四重色印刷部(墨水浓度:黑墨1.80、蓝1.50、红1.45、黄1.05、四色合计浓度5.80 X-Rite公司制造X-Rite 408测定)中所产生之皱折以以下基准目视评断之。◎:几乎不产生皱折、○:产生很轻度的皱折、△:有皱折产生、×:产生皱折现象显着。
(2)防起泡性:胶版转轮印刷之四重色印刷部(墨水浓度:黑墨1.80、蓝1.50、红1.45、黄1.05、四色合计浓度5.80 X-Rite公司制造X-Rite 408测定)中,以产生气泡之纸面温度为指针评断之。
(3)白纸光泽度:以JIS P 8142为标准评断之。
(4)湿润浸渍性:胶版转轮印刷之蓝色单色印刷部(墨水浓度:蓝1.50、X-Rite公司制造X-Rite 408测定,印刷顺序:黑墨→蓝→红→黄)中,WET性以以下基准目视评断之。◎:极为良好、○:良好、△:稍微不良、×:不良。
(5)表面强度:胶版转轮印刷之蓝色单色印刷部(墨水浓度:蓝1.50、X-Rite公司制造X-Rite 408测定,印刷顺序:黑墨→蓝→红→黄)中,表面强度(MUKE)系以下列基准目视评断之。◎:极为良好、○:良好、△:稍微不良、×:不良。
(6)透气抵抗度:以J.TAPPI纸纸浆试验方法No.5(B)为准,印刷前白纸部,胶版转轮印刷后之非划线部,四重色印刷部(墨水浓度:黑墨1.80、蓝1.50、红1.45、黄1.05、四色合计浓度5.80 X-Rite公司制造X-Rite 408测定)来评断之。
〔实施例1〕
于微粒陶土(IMERYS公司制造DB-GRAZE)50部以及微粒重量碳酸钙(Fine Material Technology公司制FMT-90)50部所制成的颜料中,添加作为分散剂之相对颜料聚丙烯酸苏打0.2部,再以串联混合器serie mixer分散,调整固态浓度至70%之颜料糊。如此所得之颜料糊中再加入苯乙烯丁二烯乳胶10部,羟乙基酯化淀粉5部,再加水得一固态浓度64%的涂工液。将羟乙基酯化淀粉使用单面涂抹量为1.05g/m2之匣式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,约为固态量11.0g/m2之涂工液,以涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工,将其干燥至纸面水分度4.0%。为了于其上再设一表面层,粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径100nm)20部以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂(播磨化成公司制K-12)80部之混合液以单面固态量0.7g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之闸式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工,将其干燥至纸面水分度3.8%。
接下来,再使用滚轮表面温度80℃、4钳板、辊压机线压250kg/cm、通纸速度500m/分之软式钳板式辊压机来处理,得一纸面水分为3.5%之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例2〕
于实施例1中,除了改变设定颜料涂工后的纸水分为6.5%、再于颜料涂工层上涂抹上表面涂工层后期纸中水分变为5.5%,以辊压机处理后纸中水分为4.8%之外,所得之其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例3〕
于实施例1中,除了改变设定为表面层粒径塑料颜料45部(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径100nm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂55部(播磨化成公司制K-12)之混合液以单面固态量1.0g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工之外,所得之其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例4〕
于实施例1中,除了不使用辊压机处理外,所得之其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例5)
除了变更实施例1中粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径100nm)为粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度90℃,平均粒径140nm)之外,其余均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例6〕
于实施例1中,除了改变设定为表面层粒径塑料颜料2部(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径100nm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂98部之混合液以单面固态量0.7g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工之外,其它均与实施例4制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例7〕
于实施例1中,除了改变设定为表面层粒径塑料颜料60部(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径100nm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂40部之混合液以单面固态量0.7g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工之外,其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔比较例1〕
于实施例1中,除了改变羟乙基酯化淀粉使用单面涂抹量为0.8g/m2之匣式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上,且不再设表面层之外,所得之其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔比较例2〕
于实施例1中,除了改以使用PVA,其单面涂抹量为3.0g/m2之匣式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,约为固态量12.0g/m2之涂工液,以涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工,不设表面层之外,所得之其它均与实施例1制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
以上结果如表1所示:

如表1所示,实施例1~5中,均可得能抑制皱折产生,防起泡性,防湿润浸渍性能优越之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。比较例1中,于抑制皱折产生上成果不佳。比较例2则不能有效防止起泡现象。
〔实施例8〕
于微粒陶土(IMERYS公司制造DB-GRAZE)60部以及微粒重量碳酸钙(Fine Material Technology公司制FMT-90)40部所制成的颜料中,添加作为分散剂之相对颜料聚丙烯酸苏打0.2部,再以串联混合器serie mixer分散,调整固态浓度至70%之颜料糊。如此所得之颜料糊中再加入苯乙烯丁二烯乳胶10部,羟乙基酯化淀粉5部,再加水得一固态浓度64%的涂工液。将藻酸及羟乙基酯化淀粉(固态量比1∶50)使用单面涂抹量为2.0g/m2之涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,约为固态量11.0g/m2之涂工液,以涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工,将其干燥至纸面水分度5.5%。为了于其上再设一表面层,粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径0.1μm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂(固态量比1∶1)之混合液以单面固态量0.7g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之闸式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工。
接下来,再使用滚轮表面温度80℃、4钳板、辊压机线压200kg/cm、通纸速度300m/分支软式钳板辊压机来处理,得一纸面水分为3.5%之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例9〕
于实施例8中,除了改变羟乙基酯化淀粉使用之单面涂抹量为1.0g/m2之匣式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,以及粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径0.1μm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂(固态量比1∶1)之混合液以单面固态量1.0g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工之外,其它均与实施例8制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例10〕
于实施例8中,除了改变羟乙基酯化淀粉使用之单面涂抹量为1.0g/m2之匣式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,以及粒径塑料颜料(玻璃转移温度100℃,平均粒径0.1μm)以及苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂(固态量比1∶1)之混合液以单面固态量1.5g/m2,使用涂抹速度1000m/分之刮刀式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工之外,其它均与实施例8制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔比较例3〕
于实施例8中,除了改变羟乙基酯化淀粉使用之单面涂抹量为1.0g/m2之闸式辊轮机涂抹于总坪量40.0g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,且不再设表面层之外,所得之其它均与实施例8制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔比较例4〕
于实施例8中,除了改以使用PVA,其单面涂抹量为3.0g/m2之闸式辊轮机涂涂抹于总坪量40g/m2之上质纸单面上的量,约为固态量12.0g/m2之涂工液,以涂抹速度1000m/分之闸式辊轮机(喷射万年式涂膜器)进行两面涂工,不设表面层之外,所得之其它均与实施例8制造方法相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
以上结果如表2所示:

如表2所示,实施例8~10中,均可得能抑制皱折产生,防起泡性,防湿润浸渍性能优越之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。比较例3中,于抑制皱折产生上成果不佳。比较例4则不能有效防止起泡现象。
〔实施例11〕
调制一含有微粒陶土(IMERYS公司制造DB-GRAZE)50部、微粒重量碳酸钙(Fine Material Technology公司制FMT-90)50部、平版轮转印刷用凝胶含量55%之苯乙烯.丁二烯系共聚体乳胶10部、以及含淀粉4部之固态量64%之涂工纸用涂工液。所得之涂工液以单面干燥重量14g/m2,使用涂抹速度500m/分之闸式辊轮机两面涂抹于总秤重127g/m2之上质涂工原纸上,再使其干燥,便可得一含水分5.5%颜料涂工层之上涂用基材(颜料涂工纸)。
再调制一由苯乙烯.丙烯系表面胶剂(荒川化学工业公司制造polymaron NS-15-1)100部以及聚苯乙烯腊状乳液型离型剂5部等所构成之固态量30%之表层涂工液。
再将所得之涂工液使用以单面干燥重量1.0g/m2,使用涂抹速度500m/分之两面涂抹于上述原纸(颜料涂工纸)上,再使其干燥,得一含水分6.5%颜料涂工纸后,再使用由金属滚轮和棉制滚轮所构成之超级辊压机,以钳压(nip)180kg/cm、速度10m/分,一次2钳(nip)板通纸得一胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例12〕
除了将实施例11的表面胶剂更换为烯属系胶剂(荒川化学工业公司制造polymaron 482S)之外,其余皆与实施例11制作方式相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔实施例13〕
除了将实施例11的表面胶剂更换为苯乙烯.顺丁烯二酸系胶剂(播磨化成公司制K-4)之外,其余皆与实施例11制作方式相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
〔比较例5〕
除了没有设表面层之外,其余皆与实施例11制作方式相同之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
如此所得之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸的品质评断测验结果,于表3所示。

由表3可清楚看出,本发明之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,可抑制皱折产生,防起泡性能亦非常卓越。而比较例则无法抑制皱折的产生。
产业上利用之可能性
藉由本案之发明,于基材上涂抹一层颜料涂工层,于其颜料涂工层之上部涂抹上含有表面胶剂之涂工液,使其干燥成为表面层后,可抑制胶版转轮印刷时即平板印刷后之干燥工程中会产生的皱折,以及有效控制印刷不清楚的状况发生。且,藉由于表面层涂上含有塑料颜料的表面胶剂,可抑制皱折的发生,可得一具有防起泡性能且拥有优良光泽度的胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸。
Claims (7)
1、一种胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系:于原纸上含有颜料及接着剂之颜料涂工层上,再附加上一层含有表面胶剂表面层。
2、申请专利范围第1项所述之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系:于原纸上含有颜料及接着剂之颜料涂工层上,再涂抹上一层含有塑料颜料及表面胶剂表面层之涂工纸。
3、申请专利范围第1项或第2项所述之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系于表层含有表面胶剂及塑料颜料,表面胶剂与塑料颜料之总量以100重量部计算之下,表面胶剂占50重量部以上,95重量部以下之涂工纸。
4、申请专利范围第1~3项任一项所述之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系:表面胶剂是由苯乙烯、丙烯、烯属系、以及苯乙烯、顺丁烯二酸系聚合物中至少选择出一种。
5、申请专利范围第1~4项任一项所述之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系:塑料颜料之玻璃移转温度为80℃以上,平均体积直径为150nm以下之涂工纸。
6、胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系:于原纸上再涂抹上一层含有颜料及接着剂涂工层之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸中,印刷前的透气抵抗度为未达80000秒,印刷后其非划线部分之透气抵抗度与印刷前相比可降低8000秒以上。
7、如申请专利范围第6项所述之胶版转轮印刷用涂工纸,其特征系印刷后之非划线部分与四重色之划线部份的透气抵抗度之差为40000秒以内。
