Abstract
Un proceso para producir un tubo de acero sin costuras en donde los pasos de la fabricacion de tubos y los pasos del tratamiento térmico se realizan en una línea de produccion. Las propiedades del tubo son comparativas o adecuadas para las propiedades del tubo fabricado en el proceso de recalentamiento, templado y revenido convencional. El proceso se caracteriza por usar la pletina de acero de aleacion que contiene C: 0.15-0.50 %, Cr: 0.1-1.5 %, Mo: 0.1-1.5 %, Al: 0.005-0.50 %, Ti: 0.005-0.50 % y Nb: 0.003-0.50 % y comprende los siguientes pasos (1) a (5). (1) eliminar en caliente con 40 & o más de porcentaje de reduccion transversal, (2) terminar la laminacion en caliente en una gama de temperatura de 800-1100 degree C, (3) meter el tubo de acero fabricado rápidamente en un aparato de calentamiento complementario después de la laminacion de acabado y calentar de manera complementaria a la temperatura y el tiempo que satisfagan la siguiente formula (a), (4) templar el tubo de acero inmediatamente después de sacarlo del aparato de calentamiento complementario y (5) revenir el tubo a una temperatura no más alta que el punto de transformacion de Ac1 como el ultimo tratamiento térmico.
