Description
まず、図1(A)および(B)には、本発明の一実施の形態に係る映像投射装置を搭載した自車両10の一例として乗用車が示されており、これらの図に示すように、当該自車両(乗用車)10の本体の前方には、左右一対のヘッドライト(HL)11が設けられている。そして図1(A)の例では、ここではその詳細な図示はしないが、これら一対のヘッドライト11の内部には発光体であるランプが組み込まれている。また、図1(A)の例では、自車両(乗用車)10には以下に詳述する映像投射装置が左右一対となって2台搭載されている。そして、当該各映像投射装置からの2つの映像光は、例えば、透明な左右一対の窓部13a、13bを介して自車両の前方の路面に投射される。
続いて、図3には、上述した自車両10内に搭載された電子制御ユニット(配光制御ECU)の構成の一例が示されている。この図からも明らかなように、当該配光制御ECU40は、CPU(中央演算装置)41、記憶手段であるRAM42やROM43、更には、入出力装置(I/Oユニット)44を備えている。そして、当該配光制御ECU40には、上記I/Oユニット44を介して、以下の各種情報取得部や通信部からの情報が入力され、上記のヘッドライト11の駆動や映像投射装置500の映像投射を制御している。
続いて、上記図4に示した投映器100、投映信号出力部110および制御部120を含む映像投射装置500の更に詳細な構成の一例について、以下に、図5を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
続いて、以上に詳細を説明したヘッドライトと映像投射装置500を、一例として上述のように車体の前方および/または後方に搭載し、車両情報との関係により路面等に投射される各種の映像の具体例について、以下、図7〜17を参照しながら、詳細に説明する。なお、以下の実施例では映像投射装置500からの映像例として矢印を用いて説明したが、これに限らず、方向を示す形状や文字情報等であってもよい。
上記の実施例では、主に、映像投射装置から路面上に表示される映像は、夜間やトンネル内での走行時においては、車両のヘッドライトによる照射領域内において投射されるものとして説明したが、本発明は、上記の実施例に限定されるものではない。すなわち、本発明になる映像投射装置による表示領域がヘッドライトによる照射領域と重複した場合には、当該ヘッドライトによる照射光により、映像投射装置から路面上に投射した映像のコントラストが低下してしまい、その視認性が悪化(劣化)することが考えられる。そこで、本発明では、上記ヘッドライト11内に配置され、ヘッドライトによる照射領域と映像投射装置による照射領域とを分離(分割)するための、所謂、表示領域形成部により、上述した課題を解決するものであり、以下にその実施例の詳細について説明する。
Claims (6)
- 路面上に映像を投射可能な映像投射部を備える車両であって、
前記車両に関する情報を取得する取得部と、
前記取得部が取得した前記情報に基づいて路面上に映像を表示するための映像表示用投射光を少なくとも前記車両の前方方向または後方方向に投射可能である映像投射部と、
前記車両のライトと、
前記車両のライトを制御するライト制御部と、
を備え、
前記ライト制御部は、前記ライトの点灯により形成される照射領域の一部において、ライト光の一部を遮断して、前記映像投射部からの前記映像を表示するための表示領域を分割して形成する表示領域形成手段を備えており、
前記表示領域形成手段は、光を遮断する複数の板状の部材を有し、
前記映像投射部からの前記映像を、前記照射領域の一部に分割して形成した前記映像投射領域内に投射する、車両。 - 請求項1に記載の車両において、
前記表示領域形成手段は、前記複数の板状の部材を、共通の回転軸を中心にして回転可能に取り付けて構成され、前記複数の板状の部材により、前記照射領域の一部に前記表示領域を分割して形成する、車両。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両において、
前記表示領域形成手段は、前記ライトと前記ライトからの光を集光する光学素子との間に配置される、車両。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両において、
前記ライトの前記表示領域形成手段は、前記表示領域を、前記車両の前方の近領域、または、前記近領域よりも遠方の遠領域に、選択的に形成する、車両。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両において、
前記映像投射部は、投射する前記映像を白地に黒抜きの状態で表示する、車両。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の車両において、
前記ライトの前記表示領域と前記映像投射部による前記映像投射領域の境界部分は、両領域を重ね合わせて形成する、車両。
