Claims (5)
- ガラス供給材料を第1の溶融炉内で第1の温度に加熱してガラス溶融体を形成する工程と、
前記ガラス溶融体を前記第1の溶融炉から、耐火金属からなる接続管を通して前記第1の溶融炉から離れた第2の溶融炉に流す工程と、
前記ガラス溶融体を前記第2の溶融炉内で、前記第1の温度より高い第2の温度に加熱する工程と、
を含み、
前記接続管を通して流れる前記ガラス溶融体が、前記接続管によって前記第1の温度に実質的に等しい温度に加熱されることを特徴とする、ガラスを製造する方法。 - 前記接続管が、前記第2の溶融炉の少なくとも後壁内で加熱されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接続管が、前記第1の溶融炉の前壁内で加熱されないことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- ガラス供給材料を加熱してガラス溶融体を形成するための、前壁を含む第1の溶融炉と、
後壁を含む第2の溶融炉と、
前記ガラス溶融体を前記第1の溶融炉から前記第2の溶融炉に輸送するための、前記第1および第2の溶融炉を接続するための耐火金属管と、
を含み、
前記管が加熱されることを特徴とする、ガラスを製造するための装置。 - 前記第2の溶融炉の長さが、前記第1の溶融炉の長さの約30%〜50%であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の装置。
