【解決手段】内燃機関の停止に際し、当該内燃機関の複数の気筒のうち、変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒が圧縮行程で止まるように機関停止を制御する。より具体的には、内燃機関の停止に際し、内燃機関の回転数が所定値未満となった時点(ステップST3)で、変速機に近い気筒#4が圧縮行程で止まるまでの残回転角度を算出し(ステップST5)、その残回転角度の算出値に基づいて、電動機(例えばモータジェネレータ)を駆動制御して内燃機関のクランクシャフトを強制駆動することにより(ステップST6)、変速機に最も近い気筒#4を圧縮行程で停止させる。

次に、本発明の他の実施形態について説明する。上述した実施形態では、駆動源としてエンジンとモータジェネレータとを搭載したハイブリッド車に本発明を適用した場合について説明した。この実施形態では、駆動源としてエンジンのみを搭載したエコラン車に本発明を適用した例を説明する。
を連結するデファレンシャルギヤ104と、スタータモータ(電動機)106と、オルタネータ(発電機)107と、バッテリ108と、ECU150とを備えている。なお、エンジン2と変速機103とは一体的に構成されている。
ジン2の各種制御などを実行する。
「自動車走行(モータジェネレータ3のみの駆動力による走行)中にエンジン2を始動する条件」などの条件は含まれず、例えば「ブレーキペダルの踏み込み解除(ブレーキペダルセンサ46がOFF)」、及び、「イグニッションスイッチON」などをエンジン始動条件とする。また、上述の実施形態では、ステップST12の「エンジン始動時のクランキング」をモータジェネレータを用いて行っているが、この実施形態では、エンジン始動時のクランキングにスタータモータ106を用いる点が相違する。

Claims (7)
- 変速機が連結された多気筒内燃機関を制御する制御装置であって、前記内燃機関の停止に際し、当該内燃機関の複数の気筒のうち前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒が圧縮行程で止まるように機関停止を制御する停止制御手段を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記停止制御手段は、前記内燃機関の停止に際し、前記内燃機関のクランクシャフトを電動機にて強制駆動することにより、前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒を圧縮行程で停止させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記停止制御手段は、前記内燃機関の回転数が所定値未満となった時点で、前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒が圧縮行程で止まるまでの残回転角度を算出し、その残回転角度の算出値に基づいて前記電動機を駆動制御することを特徴とする請求項2記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記内燃機関の始動に際し、前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒から点火が開始されるように当該内燃機関の点火を制御する始動制御手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記始動制御手段は、前記内燃機関の始動に際し、前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒に新気が入るように当該内燃機関の吸気通路に配置のスロットルバルブを開くタイミングを制御することを特徴とする請求項4記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記変速機に近い位置に配置されている気筒に入れる新気が要求駆動力に応じた空気量であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置を備えた自動車であって、内燃機関停止条件が成立した際に、前記停止制御手段による機関停止が行われることを特徴とする自動車。
