Abstract
一种打印机的送纸机构,含有:贮纸盘,送纸辊及一个与送纸辊相对置的分离衬垫,当送纸辊正转时,纸张在送纸辊与分离衬垫之间通过,而第二张和随后的纸则被分离衬垫制止,在任选纸张上的打印操作完成后过了一段预定的时间仍未对后续的纸发出打印指令时,送纸辊反转预定的转数。在贮纸盘堆纸区的前端可做出几个凹槽,当堆叠的纸张高度沿横向有所不同时,可以调节各个凹槽的深度,这样,纸张就可以与送纸辊均衡地接触。
Description
本发明总的涉及打印机的送纸机构。本发明涉及使用连续式纸张和切开式纸张的信息处理机中的打印机的送纸方法及送纸机构。本发明也涉及设置在信息处理机例如印刷机、图像扫描仪或传真机中,用来通过送纸辊的摩擦力将堆叠在送纸盘中的纸张一张接一张地送出的送纸机构。
堆叠在打印机贮纸盘上的记录纸张按下述方法一张接一张地送出。记录纸垛中最上面的一张纸由设置在贮纸盘上部的送纸辊送出。为了防止第二张纸和后面的纸同时与第一张纸一起送出,通常在送纸辊的对面设置一个分离衬垫。当第二张纸与第一张纸一起前进到送纸辊与分离衬垫之间时,由于分离衬垫摩擦力的作用而将它挡住。采用这种办法,可使最上面的纸张与第二张纸分离,并由送纸辊依次地将纸送出。然后由传送辊将第一张纸从送纸辊上接下来,再在打印区中对第一张纸进行打印操作。打印操作完成后,当发出对第二张纸进行打印的指令时,送纸辊再度转动,并以与馈送第一张纸相同的方式进行送纸操作。这种操作重复进行并对预定数量的纸张进行打印。
但是,从送纸辊将第一张纸送到打印区的时间到送纸辊开始送出第二张纸的时间内,第二张纸的前端已经***到送纸辊与分离衬垫之间。因此在连续地对下一张纸进行打印时,不会出现什么问题。然而,当打印工作完成后要更换不同尺寸的纸张时,必须从打印机上取下贮纸盘。在这种情况下,便很难将前端已***送纸辊与分离衬垫之间的纸取出。
本发明的目的是提供这样一种打印机的送纸机构,其中,其前导端进入送纸辊与分离衬垫之间的纸张可以容易地被抽出,所以,容易更换纸张。
本发明要提供的一种打印机送纸机构含有:一个可叠放大量记录纸张的贮纸盘;和一个与堆叠在贮纸盘中最上面的纸张之前端上表面相接触的送纸辊,其特征是,最上面的纸是在送纸辊转动时被向前馈送的,在贮纸盘的堆纸区的前端设有若干凹槽,该凹槽的深度可根据堆叠的纸张沿横向方向上的高度的不同进行调节,所以,纸张可均衡地与送纸辊接触。
根据不同的记录介质,其右边部分的厚度和左边部分的厚度彼此会有不同。但是,在贮纸盘上的纸张的左边和右边处设有凹槽,所以,纸张的前端部分与送纸辊接触的接触压力与纸张的中央和两侧的接触压力相同。这样,就可以平衡地馈送纸张,并可防止送纸发生歪斜。
在这种实施例中,可采用下面的结构。在上述凹槽中,设置一个簧片,该簧片的高度可根据贮纸盘上堆放的纸张的多少而自动改变。在这种实施例中,簧片的高度,也就是贮纸盘底部的深度可自动地上升和下降,所以送纸辊对纸张总是施加一个预定的压力,而与纸张的数量无关。
下面通过附图及实施例详细说明本发明。附图中:
图1是表示打印机的主要结构的方框图;

下面参看图1-9,详细说明本发明送纸机构的另一个实施例。
图1是表示应用本实施例的送纸机构的打印机的主要结构的方框图。图2是上述打印机的侧视图。在图1中,CPU是控制该打印机各部件的动作的中央处理机。
在图2的贮纸盘301中可叠放大量的记录纸302,并且,贮纸盘301的一个端部可以向上和向下移动。当贮纸盘301位于升起位置时,位于贮纸盘301一端上部的送纸辊(拾纸辊)303与最上面的纸张接触。设置了一个上传感器,用来检测贮纸盘301上升时最上面的纸到达送纸辊的位置。还设置了一个与送纸辊303对置的分离衬垫304,用来防止第二张纸和后面的纸与第一张纸一起送出。在分离衬垫304的下游,设置了一个送纸传感器305,用来检测纸张302的前导端。在送纸控制部分,设置了一个用作贮纸盘马达同时又用作送纸马达的马达,还设置了一个转换电磁铁和其他部件。
在换行控制部分,设置了一个用来输送纸张和带动换行辊的马达306。在打印控制部分设置了一个用来带动一个安装有打印头307的托架沿着横向的压纸卷筒(未示出)移动的托架马达。打印头间隙控制机构通过带动头部间隙调节凸轮或齿轮的马达调节打印头307与压纸卷筒间的间隙。在上述托架上,设置了一个与打印头307一起的用来读识和检测纸张的传感器308。
图3(a)和3(b)是本发明实施例的送纸机构的控制操作流程图。
首先,给出一个打印指令,升高贮纸盘301,当上传感器检测出贮纸盘的上升位置时,贮纸盘便停止上升。此时,贮纸盘301中最上面的纸张302的一个端部与送纸辊303接触。
然后,送纸辊303正向转动,开始送纸操作,纸张302在送纸辊303与分离衬垫304间通过。当送纸传感器305检测出纸张302的前导端部时,送纸辊303就将纸张302依次输送到传送辊306处。如果传感器没检测出纸张,即使是在送纸辊303正向转动后预定的时间已经过去,仍未检测到纸,也可以判断为没有纸了,就将贮纸盘301降低到下限位置。
从送纸传感器检测纸张302的端部的预定时间过去之后,纸张302便到达传送辊306。此时,传送辊306正向转动。然后,将贮纸盘301降低一个预定的距离。
在纸张传感器检测纸张302的前导端部时,还判断纸张302的尾端部是否已离开送纸辊303。如果纸张302的尾端部已离开送纸辊303,送纸马达(检纸马达)便停止转动,纸张由传送辊306输送到打印位置,也就是说,进行换行动作,开始打印操作。如果纸张302的尾端部尚未离开送纸辊303,那么,在第一张纸的情况下,就中止驱动送纸辊303以检测纸张长度,当送纸辊303停转时(例如,如图4所示),它与送纸马达(检纸马达)311脱开,这样就可减小加在纸上的负荷。在图4的连接装置中,标号为303的是送纸辊,标号为311的是送纸马达,标号为312的是装在送纸辊轴上的齿轮,而标号为313的是装在送纸马达上的齿轮。当位于齿轮312和313之间的中间齿轮314,314’按图4中箭头P移动时,送纸辊303就可与送纸马达311连接或脱开。
在有关的纸张上打印操作完成后,就将该纸张排出。这一动作连续地在预定数目的纸张上进行。在全部纸张打印操作完成后,如果在预定的时间(例如5秒)内没有发出下一步打印的指令,送纸辊303就会反转预定的转数,在这种情况下,上述的预定转数就是使已***送纸辊303与分离衬垫304之间的后一张纸退回到贮纸盘301中的转数。
图5(a)-5(c)简单说明贮纸盘301和送纸辊303的操作。图5(a)示出在纸张302送出后下一张纸立即插在送纸辊303与分离衬垫304之间的情况。图5(b)的视图示出贮纸盘301降低及送纸辊303反转的情况。图5(c)的视图示出***送纸辊303与分离衬垫304之间的纸张302通过送纸辊303反转而回到贮纸盘301上的情况。在上述的连接结构中,贮纸盘301的角度最好是这样确定,即,如图5(a)所示,在送纸位置上,最上面一页纸302可以在贮纸盘上滑动,或者在纸张上滑动,而且,如图5(b)所示,当纸张302回到贮纸盘上时,可按良好顺序叠放在贮纸盘上。也就是说,贮纸盘301的前部分最好是向下倾斜。
如上所述,在本实施例中,为送纸辊303输送第一纸张302后,便进行打印操作,然后开始输送下一张纸302。该下一纸张302在开始输送之前,它已***到送纸辊303与分离衬垫304之间。但是,在完成纸张的打印之后,送纸辊303便反转,从而使***送纸辊303与分离衬垫304之间的纸张回到贮纸盘301上。因此,即使在将贮纸盘301从打印机取去时,也可以很容易地将全部纸张与贮纸盘一起取出。
图6简单示出贮纸盘的作用原理,图18-20简单示出贮纸盘的几个实施例。
一般说来,当纸张302发生变形,而且右侧纸张厚度与左侧纸张厚度不同时,送纸辊303只有部分与叠放在贮纸盘上的纸张302相接触,这就造成送不上纸,进而发生送歪的情况。但是,在本实施例中,如图6所示,在贮纸盘301上放纸部位前端的两侧设置了凹槽320,由于有了这个凹槽320,就可减小纸张302的厚度差,而使送纸辊303均衡地与纸张302接触,这样,就可以平衡地送纸。
在图7所示的实施例中,在凹槽320内设置了弹簧片321。当大量的纸堆放在贮纸盘301上时,也就是说当贮纸盘301上堆放的纸垛较重时,弹簧片321便受到重的载荷,使弹簧片显著向下变形和凹槽容量增大。当少量的纸垛堆放在贮纸盘301上时,也就是说当贮纸盘301上堆放的纸垛较轻时,弹簧片321受到轻的载荷,使弹簧片321轻度向下变形和凹槽容量减少。借助上述这种安排,可使送纸辊303与纸张302始终接触,而与贮纸盘上堆放纸垛的张数无关。
在图8和9所示的实施例中,在贮纸盘301两端的凹槽320内均设置了弹簧片321。与此同时,当纸的厚度均匀时,则在位置A处设置了一个截面为U形的零件322,如图8所示,可防止纸张落入凹槽内。当右边纸垛的厚度与左边纸垛的厚度不同时,零件322滑到图8所示的位置B上,或者也可以按图9所示的双点划线转动,或者按图9所示取去。这样一来,纸厚的差得到缓解。借助上述这种安排,可使送纸辊303与纸张302始终接触,而与贮纸盘上堆放的纸垛的张数无关。
如上所述,按照本实施例,在纸张打印操作完成后,送纸辊便反转,从而使***送纸辊和分离衬垫之间的纸张返回到贮纸盘301上。因此,即使在贮纸盘301要从打印机卸下时,也很容易将全部纸张与贮纸盘一起卸下。这样,便可以稳定地送纸。即使馈送的纸张厚度有波动,也能稳定地送纸。

1.一种打印机的送纸机构,含有:一个可叠放大量记录纸的贮纸盘;一个能与贮纸盘中最上面的纸张相接触的送纸辊;一个与送纸辊相对置的分离衬垫,其特征在于,当送纸辊正转时,纸张在送纸辊与分离衬垫之间通过,而第二张和随后的纸则被分离衬垫制止,在任选纸张上的打印操作完成后过了一段预定的时间仍未对后续的纸发出打印指令时,送纸辊反转预定的转数。
2.一种打印机的送纸机构,含有:一个可叠放大量记录纸张的贮纸盘,和一个与叠放在上述贮纸盘中最上面的纸张的前端之上表面相接触的送纸辊,其特征在于,当送纸辊转动时,最上面的纸向前馈送,在贮纸盘堆纸区的前端做出几个凹槽,当堆叠的纸张高度沿横向有所不同时,可以调节各个凹槽的深度,这样,纸张就可以与送纸辊均衡地接触。
3.根据权利要求1的打印机送纸机构,其特征在于,在上述凹槽中设置一个弹簧片,该簧片的高度可根据叠放在贮纸盘上的纸张数量自动地改变。
