Abstract

一种打印头的平行度调节机构,它具有:一个压纸卷筒;一个安装与压纸卷筒对置的打印头的托架;一个用来引导托架使打印头平行于压纸卷筒移动的导轴;以及一个保持压纸卷筒和导轴相互平行的机架,其特征在于打印头固定在托架上,在托架行进方向上具有基准表面的元件与托架相连接的方式可使该元件与压纸卷筒接触并可从压纸卷筒离开,根据基准表面压在压纸卷筒上时每个元件的移动差异来计算打印头的平行度,并可根据计算结果调节打印头的位置。

Description

打印头的平行度调节机构
本发明涉及打印头的平行度调节机构。
在现有技术的打印机中,为了保持打印机的打印头与压纸卷筒的平行度,要设置强度高的金属板机架,在打印头的制造过程中需要调节打印头的平行度。
本发明的目的是提供一种用于调整打印机的打印头的平行度调节机构,该机构能保持打印头与压纸卷筒间的预定平行度,而无需提高支承打印头和压纸卷筒的机架的机械强度。
为了实现上述目的,本发明提供的打印头的平行度调节机构含有:一个压纸卷筒;一个安装与压纸卷筒对置的打印头用的托架;一个导引托架以便使打印头能平行于压纸卷筒移动的导轴;和一个保持压纸卷筒与导轴互相平行的设备机架,其特征是,打印头固定在托架上,一个沿托架前进方向带有基准面的元件与托架相连接,使得该元件与压纸卷筒接触,并能从压纸卷筒处退出,根据基准面压着压纸卷筒时每个元件的移动量之差计算打印头的平行度,并按照计算的结果调节打印头的位置。采用本发明的上述平行度调节机构,可以始终保持一个预定的平行度,而不需要用由金属板成形的强度大的机架。
下面通过附图及实施例详细说明本发明。
图1是示出调节打印机的打印头的间隙的平行度的方法的模型的视图。
图1示出打印机构的打印头平行度调节机构的示意图。打印头504安装在托架505上。在打印头504两侧处的托架505上连接了两个元件525,它们在托架进行的方向上,即导轴506的方向上保持距离。在这两个元件525上分别设置基准表面。这些元件525可借助脉冲马达(未示出)来移动,从而使基准表面可与压纸卷筒501相接触和脱离。
这就意味着两个元件525可按如下方式移动。当接通电源以驱动打印机或在向打印机馈送纸张之前,托架505移至导轴506的左端,并使脉冲马达启动。因此,每个元件525由预定位置移至压纸卷筒501一侧。当基准表面与压纸卷筒501接触时,便存储了基准表面上两个元件525的表值Y1。此后,两个元件525返回至预定位置。
然后,将托架505移至导轴506的右端并以同样的方式使马达(未示出)启动,当每个元件由预定位置移至卷筒501一侧,且基准表面与压纸卷筒501接触时,就存储了基准表面上两个元件525的表值Y2。此后,两个元件525返回至预定位置。
两个表值之差Y1-Y2=Y3都被存储在只读存储器内。当纸张被送出并与基准表面接触时,就存储了此时的表值Y4。按照上述的比较法可以得出需要多少脉冲才能使打印头由Y4移动一个Y3量。在这种情况下,根据纸张的厚度的不同,脉冲量是不同的。按照由上述方法得出的脉冲数,沿相对于托架505向上和向下的方向调节打印头504。这样,就可以始终保持打印头504与卷筒501之间的间隙为一恒定值。
按照本发明,不需要设置强度高的金属板机架来保持打印头504与压纸卷筒501的平行度。可以使用价廉的树脂机架530来代替强度高的金属板机架。在打印头的制造过程中不需要调节打印头504的平行度。在图1所示的示意图中标号526为色带。

Claims (1)

1.一种打印头的平行度调节机构,它具有:一个压纸卷筒;一个安装与压纸卷筒对置的打印头的托架;一个用来引导托架使打印头平行于压纸卷筒移动的导轴;以及一个保持压纸卷筒和导轴相互平行的机架,其特征在于打印头固定在托架上,在托架行进方向上具有基准表面的元件与托架相连接的方式可使该元件与压纸卷筒接触并可从压纸卷筒离开,根据基准表面压在压纸卷筒上时每个元件的移动差异来计算打印头的平行度,并可根据计算结果调节打印头的位置。
