以下、本発明の実施の形態1について、図面を用いて説明する。図1は、実施の形態1における弾性波素子の断面模式図(IDT電極指の延伸方向に垂直な断面模式図)である。
以下、本発明の実施の形態2について、図面を用いて説明する。図8は、実施の形態2における弾性波素子の断面模式図(IDT電極指の延伸方向に垂直な断面模式図)である。実施の形態1と同様の構成については、同一の符号をつけてその説明を省略する。
以下、本発明の実施の形態3について、図面を用いて説明する。図15は、実施の形態3における弾性波素子の断面模式図(IDT電極指の延伸方向に垂直な断面模式図)である。

Claims (16)
- 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上1λ未満の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜と、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の上に設けられて前記酸化ケイ素膜を伝搬する横波の速度よりも速い横波が伝搬する媒質からなる1λ以上5λ以下の膜厚を有する誘電体薄膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、Moを主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAlを主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.05λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.025λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.093λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.5λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.068λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.5λ以上1λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.05λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項1に記載の弾性波素子。 - 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上0.5λ未満の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、Moを主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAlを主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.03λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.025λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.038λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.5λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.03λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項3に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記圧電体のオイラー角(φ,θ,ψ)が、-10°≦φ≦10°、33°≦θ≦43°、-10°≦ψ≦10°の場合、
前記酸化ケイ素膜8の膜厚Hと前記第1電極層の膜厚hと前記IDT電極の電極ピッチに対する電極指幅比ηとの関係が、
H/hが5.00以上6.25未満の場合、ηが0.3以上0.4未満のとき或は0.6以上0.7未満のときに、h/λが4.5%以上を満たし、H/hが5.00以上6.25未満の場合、ηが0.4以上0.6未満のときに、h/λが3.5%以上を満たし、
H/hが6.25以上8.75以下の場合、h/λが3.5%以上を満たす請求項3に記載の弾性波素子。 - 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上0.5λ以下の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜と、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の上に設けられて前記酸化ケイ素膜を伝搬する横波の速度よりも速い横波が伝搬する媒質からなる1λ以上5λ以下の膜厚を有する誘電体薄膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、W(タングステン)を主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAl(アルミニウム)を主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.03λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.026λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.04λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.4λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.037λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.4λ以上0.5λ以下の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.03λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項6に記載の弾性波素子。 - 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上0.5λ以下の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、W(タングステン)を主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAl(アルミニウム)を主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.004λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.026λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.1λ以上0.2λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.027λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.02λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.4λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.018λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.4λ以上0.5λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.01λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.5λの場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.004λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項8に記載の弾性波素子。 - 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上0.5λ以下の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜と、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の上に設けられて前記酸化ケイ素膜を伝搬する横波の速度よりも速い横波が伝搬する媒質からなる1λ以上5λ以下の膜厚を有する誘電体薄膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、Pt(白金)を主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAl(アルミニウム)を主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.025λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.026λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.035λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.4λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.029λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.4λ以上0.5λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.027λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.5λの場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.025λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項10に記載の弾性波素子。 - 圧電体と、
前記圧電体の上に設けられて波長λの主要弾性波を励振させるIDT電極と、
前記圧電体の上に前記IDT電極を覆うように設けられた0.2λ以上0.5λ未満の膜厚を有する酸化ケイ素膜とを備え、
前記IDT電極は、前記圧電体側から順に、Pt(白金)を主成分とする第1電極層と、前記第1電極層の上に設けられたAl(アルミニウム)を主成分とする第2電極層とを有し、
前記IDT電極は、0.15λ以下の総膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第1電極層は、0.009λ以上の膜厚を有し、かつ、
前記第2電極層は、0.026λ以上の膜厚を有する弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.1λ以上0.2λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.02λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.2λ以上0.3λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.018λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.3λ以上0.4λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.016λ以上の膜厚を有し、
前記酸化ケイ素膜の膜厚が0.4λ以上0.5λ未満の場合は、前記第1電極層は、0.009λ以上の膜厚を有する請求項12に記載の弾性波素子。 - 前記酸化ケイ素膜は、前記IDT電極の電極指の上方における前記酸化ケイ素膜の上面に凸部を有する請求項3又は請求項8又は請求項12に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記凸部の頂部の幅は、前記IDT電極の電極指幅よりも小さい請求項14に記載の弾性波素子。
- 前記第2電極層は、前記第1電極層の側面の一部に掛かるように形成された請求項3又は請求項8又は請求項14に記載の弾性波素子。
