Abstract
포터블 컴팩 디스크 플레이어(41)에 있어서, 플레이어에 부착된 한쌍의 대향하는 패널형 스피커(81)를 구비하고, 각각의 스피커는 트랜스듀서(9)가 전체적이고 배타적으로 장착된 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터를 구비하여 그 라디에이터로 하여금 진동시키어 패널이 공진하도록 한다.

공지의 영국 특허 공보 GB-A-2262861에 개시된 패널-형의 라우드스피커는,
관통성의 다공 구조인 공간 코아가 있는 2 종류의 표피부 재료로 형성된 단일 샌드위치형 패널인 공진성 멀티모드 라디에이터 소자와,
진동 감쇠가 없는 자유로운 방식으로 상기 패널을 지지하거나 자체에 지지체가 부착된 탑재 수단과,
라우드스피커용의 동작 주파수대에서 전기적 입력에 응답하여 상기 라디에이터 패널내에 멀티-모드식 공진을 촉발시키는 역할을 하는 패널에 결합된 전기-기계식 구동 수단을 구비하며,
상기 패널은, 모든 방향에 대하여, 단위 표면적(μ) 당 패널 매스의 큐브 전력에 대한 휨 강성 (B) 비가 적어도 10 이 되도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 패널형의 라우드스피커를 개시한다.
본 발명은 포터블 콤팩 디스크 플레이어에 관한 것으로, 특히 패널-형 음향 방사 소자를 갖는 스피커를 합체시키는 포터블 콤팩 디스크 플레이어에 관한 것이다.

본 발명의 실시예는 일반적으로 또는 특별히 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원 (당사 번호 P.5711) 의 교훈을 실행함으로써 획득할 수 있는 성질의 부재, 구조 및 구성을 사용한다. 이러한 부재는, 부재의 에지부로는 가끔씩만 연장되고 사실상 두께 방향으로 가로지르지며 연장되어있는 동작 영역 내에, 벤딩파로 입력되는 진동 에너지에 대한 내구력과 전달 능력이 있으며; 주위의 공기와 결합되는 음향에 유익한 역할을 하는 상기 영역 전체에 분포된 공진 모드 진동 성분을 포함하도록 이방성 휨 강성과 무관하도록 구성되고; 상기 영역내의 음향 진동 활동 및 이러한 진동 활동인 음향 정보에 대응하는 신호 (일반적으로 전기 신호) 에 관련되어 효과가 발생되는 트랜스듀서, 특히 동작적으로 퍼서널 컴퓨터의 활성부 또는 이동부,을 위하여 상기 영역 내에 기결정되어 선택되는 위치 또는 자리를 갖게된다. 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원 (당사 파일 P.5711) 에는 트랜스듀서을 갖추지 않은 수동 음향 소자 (예를 들면 반향용, 또는 음향 여과용, 또는 음향학적으로 공간 또는 실내에 음성을 전달시키기는 소자) 로써 또는 수동 음향 소자 내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있으며; 트랜스듀서을 갖춘 능동 음향 소자 (예를 들면 매우 넓은 범위의 음원 또는 입력 신호가 공급되면 이를 소리로 변환시키는 라우드스피커, 또는 소리를 다른 신호로 변환시키는 마이크로폰) 로써 또는 능동 음향 소자 내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있다.
본 발명은 예컨대, 포터블 콤팩 디스크 플레이어용 라우드스피커 또는 스피커 형태의 능동성 음향 장치에 특히 관련한다. 다음 명세서 및 클레임에 있어서, '컴팩-디스크' 라는 용어는 예컨대 디지털 비디오 디스크 같은 유사한 디지털 적으로 인코드된 디스크를 포함하는 것으로 이해된다. 전술한 부재는 이하에서 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터로 지칭되며, 상기 PCT 출원에서와 같은 특성을 가질 수 있으며, 만약 그렇지 않으면 본 명세서에서 특별히 그 의미를 제공할 것이다.
본 발명은 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어에 있어서, 플레이어에 부착된 한 쌍의 대향하는 패널형 스피커를 구비하고, 각각의 스피커는 트랜스듀서가 전체적이고 배타적으로 장착된 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터를 구비하여 그 라디에이터로 하여금 진동시켜 패널이 공진 하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어는 턴테이블을 갖는 본체부와 이 턴테이블에 걸쳐 폐쇄되도록 채택된 리드를 구비하며, 스피커가 리드 상에 장착된다. 택일적으로, 스피커는 리드의 슬롯에 하우징되고 스피커가 슬롯에 실질적으로 전부 하우징된 저장 위치와 스피커가 리드의 대향 측에 위치된 사용위치 사이에서 슬라이드 한다.
각각의 라디에이터는 대향된 표피층에 의해 샌드위치된 셀룰러 코아를 갖는 경량의 점성 패널을 구비하며, 패널은 탄성 서스펜션에 의한 서라운딩 프레임에서 지지된다.
발명을 실시하는 최선의 모드
도1을 참조하면, 분산형의 소리방사패널(2)을 지지하는 내측 주변이 둥근 탄성서스팬션(3)을 가진 방형프레임(1)을 구비하는, 여기서 동일자 출원된 계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 번호 P.5711)에서 기술되고 청구된 바와 같은 종류의 패널형 스피커(81)에 나타나 있다. 예컨대, 동일자 출원된 계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 번호 P.5683/4/5)를 참조하여 상세히 기술된 바와 같은 트랜스듀서(9)는, 크기x및y로 정해진 소정위치, 그 위치는 동일 자 출원된 계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 번호 P.5711)에서 기술된 바와 같이 계산된 위치, 에서 벤딩 웨이브를 패널로 내보내서 패널로 하여금 공진시켜 음향출력을 방사하도록 한 패널(2)에 전체적으로 혹은 배타적으로 장착된다.
트랜스듀서(9)는 도선(28)에 의해 트랜스듀서에 접속된, 예를 들면 오디오 앰프 같은 신호 앰프(10)에 의해 구동된다. 앰프 로딩 및 전력 요구는 통상의 원추형 스피커와 비슷하게, 전체적으로 실내 부하 조건에서 86 -88 dB/watt 정도의 보통 감도가 될 수있다. 앰프 부하 임피던스는 주로 6오옴 저항에서 파워 핸들링이 20-80 watt 이다. 패널 코아 및/또는 피질 코아는 금속이라면, 트랜스듀서의 모터 코일로부터의 열을 제거하기 위해 트랜스듀서용 히트싱크로서 작용하도록 형성될 수 있어 파워 핸들링을 개선한다.
도 2a및 도 2b는 도1 의 스피커(81)를 절취한 전형적 부분 단면도이다. 도 2a는 프레임(1), 서라운드(3), 및 각각의 점착 조인트에 의해 함께 접속된 패널(2)을 나타낸다. 프레임의 적절한 재료로는 알루미늄 합금 혹은 플라스틱 같은 예컨대 돌출 금속의 화상 프레임의 경량의 프레임을 포함한다. 조인트(20)의 적절한 점착재는 에폭시, 아크릴 및 시아노-아크릴레이트 등의 점착재를 포함한다.
도 2b는 패널(2)이 예컨대 강체의 플라스틱 거품(97)과 교차 연결된 폴리비닐 클로라이드 혹은 다공성 행렬(98)의 코아, 즉 금속 호일, 플라스틱 등등의 벌집형 행렬을 갖는 경량의 강체 패널이며, 그 패널의 평면에 기공이 가로질러 연장하고, 예컨대 페이퍼, 카드, 플라스틱이나 포일 혹은 시트의 대향 표피(21)에 의해 에워싸인 패널의 확대도를 예시한다. 표피가 플라스틱이라면 그들의 모듈루스를 증가시키기 위해 예컨대 탄소, 유리, 카브라(Kevlar; RTM) 등의 파이버를 가지고 주지된 방법자체로 표피가 보강될 수있다.
고찰된 표피층 재료 및 보강재는 탄소,유리,카브라(RTM),노맥스(Nomex; RTM) ,즉 다양한 레이 및 위브의 아라미드등 파이버뿐만 아니라 페이퍼, 점착 페이퍼 라미네이트,멜라닌 그리고 밀라(RTM; Mylar), 캅탄(Kaptan; RTM),폴리카보나이트,페놀릭, 폴리에스테르 또는 관련된 플라스틱 같은 하이 모듈의 다양한 합성플라스틱 필름과, 금속 시트 혹은 호일을 포함한다. 벡트라급의 액정 폴리머 열가소성 플라스틱을 조사하면 울트라급 표피 혹은 약 30에 달하는 미소크기의 기공을 주입몰딩하기 위해 사용될 수 있음을 보인다. 이 재료 자체로는 방향성 액정구조를 주사방향, 구동점에서 패널 주변까지의 진동 에너지의 전달을 좋게 하는 바람직한 방향을 형성한다.
추가로 이들 및 다른 열가소성 플라스틱을 성형하는 것은 에컨대 모터코일 같은 트랜스듀서 및 자기 서스펜션의 정확한 위치를 위해 몰딩 도구가 그루브 혹은 링 같은 위치 및 지정된 형상을 갖도록 허락한다. 약간 약한 코아 재료를 더 계산하는 것은 표피두께를 트랜스듀서 직경의 150%에 달하는 영역 혹은 애뉼러에서, 표피 두께를 국부적으로 증가시키는 것은 이점이 있고, 그 영역을 보강하여 진동 에너지를 패널에 결합하는 것이 이득이 된다. 이 수단에 의해 고주파 응답은 부드러운 기포에 의해 개선될 것이다.
고찰된 표피층 재료는 제조된 벌집형 혹은 주름형의 알루미뉴합금 혹은 포일, 혹은,카브라(RTM),노맥스(Nomex; RTM), 보통 혹은 점착 페이퍼, 및 다양한 합성 플라스틱 필름뿐 만 아니라 확장 혹은 거품된 플라스틱 혹은 펄프 재료, 심지어 적절하게 낮은 밀도이라고 하면 에어겔 금속을 포함한다. 일부의 적절한 코아층 재료는 그의 제조 시 사용가능한 자체표피화를 효과적으로 금지시키고, 그렇지 않으면 표피층 사이의 적층이 없이 사용되기 위해 충분한 내재적 고착성을 갖는다. 고성능 다공성코아 재료는 라디에이터 패널로서 적절하고 표피층이 없는 상표명"로하셀(Rohacel)" 이 알려져 있다. 실제적인 용어로서, 목적은 특히 코아 및 표피층으로부터의 기여 및 그들간 전달성을 최적화하는 것을 포함하는 목적에 적합한 경량화 및 고착도를 위한 것이다.
패널 사용 금속 및 금속 합금 표피부 ,택일적으로 탄소 섬유 보강재를 위한 수개의 바람직한 형태가 있다. 이들은 모두 합금 에어겔 혹은 금속 벌집코아를 갖도록 설계되며, 수개의 EMC 어플리케이션에 중요한 실질적인 무선 주파 스크린 특성을 가질 것이다. 통상의 패널 혹은 원추형 스피커는 EMC 스크리닝 능력을 본래 갖고 있지 않다.
추가로 바람직한 형태의 피에조 및 전자의 동적 트랜스듀서는 무시할 수 있는 전자기 방사선 혹은 흩어진 자기장을 갖는다. 통상의 스피커는 특별한 보상의 카운터 측정을 하지 않는다면, 1미터까지 의 커다란 자기장을 갖는다.
스크리닝을 적용상태로 유지하는 것이 중요하다면, 적절한 DML 패널의 도전성부분을 전기적 접속가능하게 형성할 수있고 또 전기적인 도전성 거품 혹은 유사한 인터페이스가 에지 장착을 위해 사용될 수있다.

효과적인 상기 선택적 댐핑은 영구적으로 결합된 수단의 시트 물질을 포함한 패널에 대한 특별한 적용을 포함한다. 에지 및 코너는 지배적으로 적게 분산된 패널의 저주파 진동 모드를 위해 특히 명백히 될 수있다. 댐핑수단의 에지방향 고정은, 그의 코너가 종종 상대적으로 자유로울 수 있는 것을 통해, 저주파 동작으로 원하는 확장을 위해 말하자면, 상기 시트 물질이 아주 프레임된 패널에 유용하게 리드될 수있다. 점착제 혹은 자체점착 물질에 의해 부착될 수있다. 유용한 댐핑의 다른 형태, 특히 보다 적절한 효과 및/ 또는 중간 및 고주파수의 의미로는 상기 영역의 소정의 효과적인 중간의 국부위치에서 시트 재료에 적절한 분량 혹은 덩어리로 될 수있다.
상술된 바와 같은 음향 패널은 쌍방향성이다. 후면으로부터의 소리에너지는 정면으로부터의 에너지와 관련된 강한 위상이 아니다. 따라서 실내에서의 음향출력, 균일한 주파수 분포의 소리 에너지, 감소된 반사파 및 정재파 효과의 총합이 이점이 되며, 재생된 소리 기록에서 자연적 공간 및 분위기의 우수한 재생력이 장점이 된다.
음향 패널로부터의 방사가 주로 무방향성인 반면, 위상관련정보의 이득은 오프-축에서 증가한다. 가상의 스트레오 이미지의 개선된 초점을 위해, 스피커의 배치는 보통 서있는 사람의 키에서, 화상이 있는 것이 좋고, 스트레오 효과를 최적화 하는 보통 앉아 있는 청취자에게는, 중간의 오프-축의 이점을 준다. 반대로 청취자에 대해 삼각의 좌/우측 기하는 추가의 각도 성분을 제공한다. 따라서 양호한 스트레오를 얻을 수있다.
통상의 스피커 재생에 비하여 청취자 그룹에게는 추가의 장점이 있다. 음향 패널 소리 방사의 진성적으로 분산된 성질은 등가점 소스의 거리에 대한 역제곱법칙에 따르지 않는 음량을 주게 된다. 거리에 따른 강도의 폴-오프가 역제곱 법칙으로 예측된 것보다 작으므로 오프-센터 및 불량한 위치의 청취자에게는 패널 스피커의 강도 전계가 통상의 스피커 재생에 비하여 우수한 스트레오 효과를 촉진한다. 이는 오프-센터 위치의 청취자가 스피커에 가까이 접근함으로 인한 이중의 문제; 첫째 가까운 스피커로부터의 지나친 소리 증가와, 원거리 스피커로부터의 대응하는 소리 감소, 를 겪지 않게 한다.
또한, 편평한 경량 패널형 스피커, 시각적인 매력, 및 양질의 소리를 가지며, 단 하나의 트랜스듀서만이 필요하고 각 패널 다이어프램으로부터 전체 소리범위를 위한 크로스 오버가 없는 장점이 있다.
도 3 내지 도 6은 포터블 퍼서널 컴팩 디스크 플레이어를 예시하며, 이 디스크 플레이어는 슬롯을 통해 디스크가 적재되도록 형성되고 플레이어로부터 제거되는 본체와, 플레이어가 동작되는 제어버튼(137)을 가진다. 플레이어(41)는 그 플레이어를 샌드위치하는 플레이어(41)의 양측에 대향하여 패널형 부재(40)가 힌지되는 형태로 대향하는 한쌍의 스피커를 구비한다. 스피커는 플레이어와 함께 연장하게 하는 크기가 되며 도 3에서 표시된 폐쇄위치로부터 도 4에서 화살표 'C'로 표시된 바와 같이 연장된 위치까지 힌지되도록 배열된다. 연장위치에서는 플레이어의 본체가 채널 분리를 개선하도록 스피커를 분리하는 중앙 배플로서 작용하는 경향이 있다.
각각의 패널형 스피커(40)는 도1 및 도2를 참조하여 상술된 본산모드의 음향 라디에이터 종류의 형태가 된다. 따라서 각각의 스피커는 표면 시트(21) 양측에서 표피된 셀룰러 코아(22)로 형성된 경량의 강체 패널을 구비하며, 패널은 예컨대 고무 거품의 탄성 서스펜션 상에 장착되고, 차례로 예컨대 플라스틱제의 경량의 장방형 프레임(1)으로 장착된다. 예컨대 계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 번호 P.5683/4/5)에 기술된 바와 같은 종류의 트랜스듀서(9)는, 벤딩 웨이브를 패널로 내보내어 패널로 하여금 공진시켜 음향출력을 발생하도록 한다. 트랜스듀서(9)는 계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 번호 P.5711)에서 상세히 기술된 소정의 위치에서 각 패널에 위치된다.
도6 및 도 7은 턴테이블(86)을 운반하는 본체(85), 작동버튼(137), 화살표'D' 로 표시된 바와 같이 턴테이블에 걸쳐 폐쇄되도록 힌지되는 리드(139)를 구비한 포터블 컴팩 디스크 플레이어를 예시한다.
플레이어(41)는 화살표 'E'로 표시된 바와 같이 폐쇄위치(도시 안됨)로부터 도시된 연장된 위치까지 이동가능하도록 리드(139)의 양측에 부재(40)에서 도시된 바와 같이 얇은 패널 형태로 대향하는 한쌍의 스피커(81)를 구비한다. 택일적으로, 부호(39)에서 표시된 바와 같이 패널형 스피커(81)는 리드(139)의 슬롯(도시 안됨)에 하우징될 수있고 화살표'F'에 표시된 바와 같이 연장된 위치 및 축소된 위치사이에서 슬라이드될 수있다.
각각의 패널형 스피커(39,40)는 도1 및 도2를 참조하여 상술된 경량의 분산 모드의 음향 라디에이터의 형태이다. 따라서 각각의 스피커는 표피층에 의해 둘러싸인 셀룰러 코아(22)를 형성하며, 패널은 예컨대 거품 고무의 에워싸는 탄성 서스펜션(3)에 장착되고, 차례로 예컨대 플라스틱제의 경량의 장방형 프레임(1)으로 장착된다.

Claims (7)
- 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어에 있어서,플레이어에 부착된 한쌍의 대향하는 패널형 스피커를 구비하고, 각각의 스피커는 전체적이고 배타적으로 장착된 트랜스듀서를 갖는 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터를 구비하여 그 라디에이터로 하여금 진동시키어 패널이 공진하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,턴테이블을 갖는 본체부와 이 턴테이블에 걸쳐 폐쇄되도록 채택된 리드를 구비하며, 스피커가 리드 상에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 스피커는 리드에 힌지하는 것을 특징으로 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 스피커는 리드의 슬롯에 하우징되고 스피커가 슬롯에 실질적으로 전부 하우징된 저장 위치와 스피커가 리드의 대향 측에 위치된 사용위치 사이에서 슬라이드 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 전술한 어느 한 청구항에 있어서,각각의 라디에이터는 대향된 표피층에 의해 샌드위치된 셀룰러 코아를 갖는 경량의 점성 패널을 구비하며,패널은 탄성 서스펜션에 의한 서라운딩 프레임에서 지지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 패널은 탄성 서스펜션에 의한 서라운딩 프레임에서 지지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 프레임 및 패널사이에서 탄성 서스펜션을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 포터블 컴팩-디스크 플레이어.
