Abstract
본 발명에 따른 라우드스피커의 결합 및 서스펜디드 세일링용 세일링타일에 관한 것으로, 분산모드음향라디에이터의 형태이며, 라디에이터를 진동시켜 공진을 일으키도록 상기 라디에이터상에 트랜스듀서 전체가 독립적으로 탑재된 세일링타일에 관한 것이다.
Description
본 발명은 라우드스피커에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 패널형 음향 방사 소자들로 구성된 라우드 스피커(loudspeakers)에 관한 것이다.
공지의 영국 특허 공보 GB-A-2262861 에 개시된 패널형의 라우드 스피 커는, 관통성(transverse)의 다공 구조인 공간 코아가 있는 2 종류의 표피부 재료로 형성된 단일 샌드위치형 패널인 공진성 멀티모드 라디에이터 소자와, 진동 감쇠가 없는 자유로운 방식으로 상기 패널을 지지하거나 자체에 지지체가 부착된 탑재 수단과, 라우드 스피커용의 동작 주파수대에서 전기적 입력에 응답하여 상기 라디에이타 패널내에 멀티-모드식 공진을 촉발시키는 역활을하는 패널에 결합된 전기-기계식 구동 수단을 구비하며, 상기 패널은, 모든 방향에 대하여, 단위 표면적(μ) 당 패널 매스의 큐브 전력에 대한 휨 강성 (B) 비가 적어도 10 이 되도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로하는 패널형의 라우드 스피커을 개시한다. 본 발명은 넓은 지역 전체에 확실히 알아 들을 수 있는 말과 음악을 고르게 분산시키도록 하는데 목적이 있고, 일반적으로 600 × 600 mm 포맷상에서, 상업적인 세일링타일로 교체가능한, 표준모듈형태의 스피커를 사용하여 소리를 분산시키기 위한 광범위한 출원이다. 몇몇 종래의 이동코일드라이버 및 패널부재(derivatives)들은 본 출원을 위해 현재 만들어진 것이다.
현재 이용되는 기술은 프레임 및 음향배플안으로 고정되는 콘형태의 이동코일스피커들을 사용하는 것이다. 비용 감소 및 유효성을 갖도록 하기 위해 공통적으로 사용되는 반면에, 이들은 심각한 열지점 (과잉소리밀도) 과 방향성 효과를 받으며, 결과적으로 가해성(intelligibility) 오프축이 불충분하다. 많은 유니트들은 광지역에서 균일한 커버리지를 얻는 것을 필요로한다.
다른 알려진 발전된 기술로는 페인팅되는 콘형 스피커를 사용하는 것인데, 상기 "콘" 은 편평한 전표면을 가진 폴리스티렌 구조이다. 여기서, 그들 다이어후램에 고정되는 추가 이동드라이버들의 결합, 주파수 증가와 함께 음향적으로 줄어 들게 하기 위한 구조로 된 후자,은 종래의 콘스피커보다 더 넓은 방사 패턴을 얻을 수 있다. 이들 폴리스틸렌폼스피커 유니트들은 그들을 위치에 탑재하기 위해 샤시 및 음향배플들을 요구한다.
본 발명의 실시예는 자연의 부재를 사용하며, 그 구조 및 구성은 일반적으로 또는 특별히 본건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원 (당사 사건번호 P.5711) 의 발명을 사용하여 획득할 수 있다. 따라서, 이러한 부재는, 부재의 에지부로는 가끔씩만 연장되고 사실상 두께 방향으로 가로지르지며 연장되어 있는 동작 영역내에, 벤딩파에 의해 입력되는 출력진동 에너지에 대한 내구력과 전달 능력이 있으며; 주위의 공기와 결합되는 음향에 유익한 역활을하는 상기 영역 전체에 분산된 공진 모드 진동 성분을 갖도록 이방성 휨 강성과 무관하도록 구성되고; 상기 영역내의 음향 진동 활동 및 이러한 진동 활동인 음향 정보에 대응하는 신호, 일반적으로 전기 신호, 에 관련하여 효과가 발생되는 트랜스듀서 수단, 특히 동작적으로 이 트랜스듀서의 활성부 또는 이동부,을 위하여 상기 영역내에 기결정되어 선택되는 위치 또는 자리를 갖게된다. 본건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원 (당사 파일 P.5711) 에는 트랜스듀서 수단을 갖추지 않은 수동 음향 소자 (예를들면 반향용, 또는 음향 여과용, 또는 음향학적으로 공간 또는 실내에 음성을 전달시키기는 소자) 로써 또는 수동 음향 소자내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있으며; 트랜스듀서 수단을 갖춘 능동 음향 소자 (예를들면 매우 넓은 범위의 음원 또는 입력 신호가 공급되면 이를 소리로 변환시키는 라우드 스피커, 또는 소리를 다른 신호로 변환시키는 마이크로폰) 로써 또는 능동 음향 소자내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있다.
본 발명은 특히 매달려 있는 천장타일에 사용할 목적으로 라우드 스피커 형태의 능동성 음향 장치에 관한 것이다.
전술한 부재는 이하에서 분산 모드 음향 라디에이타로 지칭되며, 상기 PCT 출원에서와 같은 특성을 가질 수 있으며, 만약 그렇지 않으면 본 명세서에서 특별히 그 의미를 제공할 것이다. 본 발명은 분산모드음향라디에이터의 형태이며, 라디에이터를 진동시켜 공진을 일으키도록 라디에이터상에 트랜스듀서 전체가 독립적으로 탑재되는 것을 특징으로하는 라우드스피커 결합형 서스펜디드 세일링 타일이다. 탄성 서스펜션은 서스펜디드 세일링에 지지되는 라디에이터에의해 라디에이터의 주변부에 배치된다.
상기 라디에이터는 고모듈의 표피부에 의해 샌드위치된 다공코아로 구성된 강성 경량의 패널이다.
본 발명은 아래 도면들에서 각 실시예들에 의해 개략적으로 설명되어진다.

도 1 에 따르면, 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 국제출원 (당사 사건 번호 5711) 에서 기술되고 청구된 종류의 패널형 라우드 스피커 (81) 를 도시한 도 1 에 있어서, 패널형 라우드 스피커 (81) 는 탄력성이 있는 서스펜션 (3) 을 갖는 사각형 프레임 (1) 을 구비하며, 서스펜션의 내부 주변부를 따라 분산 모드 소리 방사 패널 (2) 이 지지된다. 본건과 동일 날짜로 출원된 국제 출원 (당소 사건 번호 P. 5683/4/5) 에서 상세히 기술된 트랜스듀서 (9) 는 치수 X, Y 로 표시된 소정의 위치의 패널 (2) 위에 또는 패널내에 안전하게 탑재되며, 이 위치의 좌표는, 벤딩파를 패널 내부로 진행시킴으로써 패널을 공진시켜 음향 출력을 방사할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 국제 출원 (당사 사건 번호 P. 5711) 에서 기술된 것처럼 계산되어 진다.
트랜스듀서 (9) 는 도전체 (28) 에 의하여 트랜스듀서에 연결된 신호 증폭기 (10), 예를들어 오디오 증폭기,에 의하여 구동된다. 증폭기 부하량과 필요 전력은, 종래의 콘형 스피커와 유사하게, 완전히 표준 상태일 수 있으며, 민감도는 실내 부하 조건하에서 86-88 dB/watt 이다. 증폭기 부하 임피던스는 보통 그 저항이 6 오옴이며, 처리 전력은 20 - 80 와트이다. 패널 코아 및/또는 표피부가 금속인 경우에, 이들은 열을 흡수하는 역할을 하게되며, 따라서 트랜스듀서는 트랜스듀서의 모터 코일로부터 발생되는 열을 제거할 수 있기 때문에 처리 전력이 개선된다.
도 2a 와 2b 는 도 1 에 도시된 라우드 스피커 (81) 의 부분 단면도이다. 도 2 에 있어서, 프레임 (1) 과 서스펜션 (3) 및 패널 (2) 은 각각 접착성 결합의 조인트부 (20) 에 의하여 서로 연결되어 있다. 프레임용으로 적당한 재료로는 무게가 가벼운 프레이밍, 예를들어 알루미늄 합금 또는 플라스틱 등과같은 압출 금속으로된 화상 프레이밍, 이 있다. 적당한 서라운드(surround) 재료로는 기포 고무 와 발포 플라스틱과 같은 탄성 재료가 사용된다. 조인트부 (20) 에 사용되는 적당한 접착제로는 에폭시, 아클릴릭, 및 시아노-아클릴레이트 등과같은 접착제가 있다.
도 2b 에 확대 도시된 것처럼, 패널 (2) 은 교차결합된 폴리비닐클로라이드와 같은 단단한 플라스틱기포(97)가 있는 코아(22); 또는 다공성 매트릭스(98), 즉 금속호일, 플라스틱 등과 같은 하니컴 매트릭스의 코아(22)를 갖는 단단한 경량성 패널이며, 상기 셀은 패널의 평면을 가로지르며 연장되고, 페이퍼, 카드, 플라스틱, 또는 금속 호일 또는 시트 (sheet) 로 이루어진 대항 표피부 (21) 로 감싸져 있다. 표피부가 플라스틱으로 만들어진 경우에, 그 자체의 모듈루스 (modulus) 를 증가시키기 위하여 공지된 방법에 의하여 표피부는 탄소, 유리, 케블라 (Keblar : RTM) 등과같은 섬유로써 보강된다.
바람직한 표피층 재료와 이러한 보강재로는 탄소; 유리; 케블라 (RTM); 다양한 아라미드성 섬유인 노멕스 (Nomex : RTM) 외에도 페이퍼; 본딩 페이퍼 라미네이트; 멜라민; 및 밀라 (Mylar : RTM), 캡탄 (Kaptan : RTM), 폴리카보네이트, 페놀, 폴리에스테르 또는 관련 플라스틱, 및 섬유로 보강된 플라스틱 등과 같은 모듈루스가 높은 합성 플라스틱 필름; 및 금속 시트 또는 호일이 사용된다. 벡트라 (Vectra) 등급의 액정 폴리머 열경화성 재료를 조사 연구하여보면, 이들 재료를 사용하여, 직경 30 cm 의 둘레까지, 초박형 표피부 또는 이보다 더 작은 두께의 셀 (shell) 을 형성하기 위한 주입 몰딩이 가능함을 알 수 있다. 이 재료 자체는 주입된 방향으로 방향성 격자 구조를 형성하며, 3 중 에너지를 양호하게 전달하기 위한 바람직한 방향은 구동점으로부터 패널 주변부쪽으로 향한다.
상기 재료와 또 다른 열경화성 재료에 대하여 위와같은 몰딩을 가하기 위하여, 몰딩 도구는 모터 코일 및 자석 서스펜션 등과같은 트랜스듀서 부품의 정확한 위치에 대하여 홈 또는 링과같은 기록 특징과 위치 특징에 대한 정보를 갖고 있다. 다소 질이 낮은 코아 재료를 부가하게 되면, 표피부 두께가 부분적으로 (예를들어 트랜스듀서 직경의 150 % 까지 소정 면적 또는 고리부) 증가되어 그 면적 부분이 재강화되고 진동 에너지가 유리하게 패널내부에 연결된다는 이점이 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 상기 수단에 의하여 기포(foam) 재료가 더욱 부드러워짐에 따라서 고주파 응답 특성이 개선된다.
바람직한 코아층 재료로는 인조 하니컴 또는 골이 형성되어 있는 알루미늄 합금 시트 또는 호일; 또는 케블라 (RTM), 노멕스 (RTM), 평평하거나 본딩되어 있는 페이퍼, 및 다양한 합성 플라스틱 필름 이외에도, 발포 또는 기포 플라스틱 또는 펄프 재료와, 적당하게 저밀도인 경우에는 애어로젤 금속도 가능하다. 바람직한 몇몇개의 코아층 재료는 제조시에 이미 사용가능할 정도의 표피층 성질을 나타내며, 그렇지 않은 경우에도 표피층간에 적층없이도 사용할 수 있을 만큼의 충분한 잠재적 견고성을 유지한다. 상표명 "Rohacell" 로 알려진 고성능 셀룰라 코아 재료는 라디에이타 패널로 적합하며 표피부가 없다. 사실상, 본 목적은 소정 목적에 적합하도록 전체적 경량성과 견고성을 갖는 것으로, 특히 코아 및 표피층의 기여도를 최적화하고 이들 코아 및 표피층간을 대체시키는 것을 포함한다.
바람직한 패널 형성을 위하여 금속 및 금속 합금 표피부가 사용되며, 또 다른 대체용으로 탄소 섬유 보강재가 사용된다. 이들은 여러 EMC 적용시에 중요한 역활을하는 실질적인 무선 주파수 스크리닝 성질을 갖출 것이다. 종래의 패널 또는 원추형 스피커는 원래 EMC 스크리닝 능력을 갖추고 있지 않다.
또한, 피에조 (piezo) 및 전기 구동식 트랜스듀서의 바람직한 형태는 전자기 복사 또는 스트레이 자장이 무시할 수 있을 정도이어야 한다. 종래의 스피커에서는 자장이 컸기 때문에, 보상을 위한 소정의 역방책이 취하여지지 않은 경우에는 1 미터 거리까지 자장의 영향이 미친다.
적용시에 스크리닝을 유지하는 것이 중요한 경우에는, 소정 DML 패널의 도전부에 전기가 연결될 수 있으며, 전기 도전성 기포 또는 유사한 인터페이스가 에지부 설치용으로 사용될 수 있다.
서스펜션 (3) 은 패널 에지부가 심하게 움직이는 것을 방지하여 패널 (2) 에지부의 진동을 감쇠시킨다. 추가용 또는 대체용으로, 또 다른 진동 감쇠재, 예를들어 패치 (patch), 를 패널의 선택된 위치의 본딩시켜 과도한 움직임을 감쇠시키고 공진 현상을 패널 전체에 대하여 균일하게 분산시킬 수 있다. 상기 패치는 통상 종래의 라우드 스피커의 외관부로 사용되던 역청기 (bitumen-based) 재료로 만들어지거나, 탄력있는 또는 단단한 폴리메릭 시트 재료로 만들어진다. 몇몇 재료, 특히 페이퍼와 카드 및 소정의 코아는 자체적으로 진동을 감쇠시킨다. 필요에 따라서는, 패널 구성시에 접착제로써 단단하게 고정시키는 것 보다 탄력성있게 고정시키는 방식을 채택함으로써 진동 감쇠를 증대시킬 수 있다.
효과적인 상기 선택적인 감쇠는 패널과 영구적으로 결합되는 수단의 시트재료을 포함하는 패널에 대한 특정한 출원을 이룬다.
에지부와 코너부들은 특히 주된 역활을 하며, 보다 적게 분산되는 패널의 저주파수 진동 모드에 있어서 특히 중요하다. 감쇠수단의 에지방향으로의 고정은 저주파수작동에 대한 바람직한 확장, 코너들이 상대적으로 종종 고정되어 있지 않지만, 에 대해 충분히 프레임화된 상기 시트재료로 패널에 유용하게 안내된다. 접착성 또는 자체-접착성 재료에 의하여 접착이 가능하다. 특히, 아주 미세한 효과 및/ 또는 중간 주파수 및 고주파수에 의한, 다른 형태의 유용한 감쇠는 상기 영역의 예정된 효과적인 중앙에 한정된 위치에서 시트 재료에 부착된 소정의 매스 (mass) 또는 매스들에 의하여 가능하다.
전술한 음향 패널은 양방향성이다. 후면으로부터의 소리 에너지의 위상은 전면으로부터의 소리 에너지의 위상과 큰 연관성이 없다. 결과적으로, 전체 요약해 보면, 실내에서의 음향 파워, 균일주파수 분산, 반사파 및 정상파 효과들의 감소 및 재생산된 소리기록들에서 자연 공간 및 환경의 우수한 재생산성의 잇점이 있다.
음향 패널로부터의 방사는 보통 무방향성이지만, 정보와 관련된 위상의 비율은 축으로부터 멀어질수록 증가한다. 팬텀스테레오 영상에 대한 포커스를 개선하는 경우에, 보통 사람의 서 있는 높이에서, 화상(pictures)과 같은, 스피커의 배치는 정상적으로 앉아 있는 청취자를 만족시키는(optimising) 스테레오 효과에 대한 적당한 오프축 배치의 잇점을 제공한다. 또한, 청취자에 관련하여 삼각형 좌/우 기하학은 또하나의 각성분을 제공한다. 따라서, 우수한 스테레오를 얻을 수 있다.
종래의 스피커 재생산과 비교하여보면 청취자들에게는 또 다른 장점이 있다. 음향 패널 소리 방사는 본래 분산 성질이 있기 때문에 동일점원으로부터 일정하게 떨어진 거리에 대하여 역제곱 법칙을 따르지 않는 소리 볼륨을 가진다. 거리에 따른 강도의 하강은 역제곱 법칙에 의하여 예측되는 것 보다 훨씬 작기 때문에, 결과적으로 중앙으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있으며 좋지 않은 장소에 위치한 청취자에게 있어서, 팬널 스피커의 강도 필드는 종래의 스피커와 비교하여보면 더 우수한 스테레오 효과를 나타낸다. 왜냐하면, 중앙으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있는 청취자는 스피커에 근접함으로써 초래되는 이중 문제점; 첫째로, 근접한 스피커로부터의 큰소리가 과도하게 증가하는 것과, 그 다음, 추가적인 라우드 스피커로부터의 큰소리가 그에 대응하여 감소한다는 것; 으로부터 벗어 날 수 있기 때문이다.
또한, 평탄하고, 경량인 패널형 스피커이고, 눈으로 보기에 호감을 주며, 음질이 우수하며, 단지 한개의 트랜스듀서만을 필요로하고, 각 패널 다이아프램으로부터의 전체범위 소리에 대하여 크로스오버 현상이 없다는 장점이 있다.
도 3 은 매달린 세일링을 형성하기 위해, 격자와 같이, 매달린 프레임(99)에 지지되는데 적합한 종류의 세일링 타일(36)을 도시한 것이며, 이 세일링타일은 도 1 및 2에서 도시한 종류의 라우드스피커(81)로 형성되고, 그것은 말하자면 강성이며, 양측상에 있는 표피부들에 의해 감싸져 있는 코아(22)를 갖는 경량인 멀티모드공진패널(2)로 구성된다. 상기 패널(2)은 상기 프레임(99)상에 지지되는 기포고무(foam rubber)의 탄성 서스펜션(3)상에 그 주변부가 탑재된다. 상기 서스펜션(3)은 접착제에 의해 상기 패널(2) 또는 상기 프레임(99)에 접착되지만, 단지 무게(gravity)에 의해 연결된다. 패널(2)은 음향출력을 제공하기 위해 상기 패널이 공진하도록 패널안으로 벤딩파를 방출시키기 위해 트랜스듀서(9)를 구비한다. 상기 트랜스듀서(9)은 본 출원인의 공동계류중인 국제출원번호(당소 화일번호. 5711)에서 설명된 바와같이 상기 패널상에 위치한다.
우수한 특징을 갖는 바람직한 예에 있어서, 상기 음향패널은 일반적으로 100 g/m3 의 밀도, 8 mm 의 두께, 0.1 mm의 경화된 알루미늄합금표피부로 덮여진 확장폴리스티렌폼코아로 만들어진다. 약 3 mm 두께인 부드러운 폼 또는 펠트스트립은, 세일링프레임에 위치할때 부분적인 유연탑재를 제공하기 위해 주변부에 고정되고, 세일링 프레이밍 섹션에서 어떤 가능한 진동을 억제하는데 도움을 준다.
활성화의 바람직한 형태는 패널표면에 직접 결합된 코일과 함께 25 mm 또는 38 mm 음성코일(voice coil), 6 옴의 임피던스, 40 와트의 처리전력을 가진 단일구동코일관성트랜스듀서이다. 콤팩트컵형 자석시스템이 내재되고, 자기시일링이 역시 그자체의 진동기계식 특성 및 치수 안정성을 위해 선택된 탄력성있는 분리링에 의해 패널에 직접 결합된다.
본 출원에 의하면, 저비용 형태의 세일링타일은 보드재료로 표면을 덮은 페이퍼에 코아를 이루는 플라스틱폼으로 만들며, 방화제 (fire retardancy)용 경량의 합금호일층을 가지고, 저비용의 피에조진동 활성제(exciters)에 의해 동작된다. 따라서, 최대소리레벨이 감소됨이 나타나는데, 개인발표, 보이스오버즈(voice overs) 및 배경음악분포용으로는 충분하지만 여전히 높으므로 광역범위가 유지된다.
금속 또는 탄소 도전성 표피부 또는 코아들은 스피커에 이용될때, 스피커는 설치된 구조의 EMC 스크린을 유지하기 위하여 땅속에 뭍히거나 지면에 고정된다.
본 발명에 따른 세일링타일라우드스피커는 프레임, 샤시, 또는 음향배플을 필요로 하지 않는다. 상기 전체 스피커패널은 단일체이고, 수동적 장식세일링타일과 같은 위치에 위치한다. 상기 음향패널은 상대적으로 경량이기때문에 세일링 무게 및 보조장치를 감소시킨다. 상기 패널은 방화제 역활을 한다. 또한, 패널은 음향의 큰 손상없이도 눈에 안 보이도록 세일링장치에 장식되고, 페인팅되거나 또는 페이퍼화될 수 있다.
매우 약한 콘형 스피커의 다이어프램과 비교해볼때, 실행시에 미약한 손실도 나타나지 않는다. 또한, 중요한 점은 음향패널 스피커에 의해 얻어지는 소리분포에 있어서 크게 유리하다는 것이다. 고가해성(high intelligibility) 및 광각도범위의 결합은 전형적인 광역장치에 있어서 우수한 음향실행은 설치비용이 크게 절약되고, 종래의 설치된 라우드스피커의 수를 절반정도로 줄일수 있다.
Claims (5)
- 분산모드음향라디에이터로 구성되며, 라디에이터를 진동시켜 공진을 일으키도록 상기 라디에이터상에 트랜스듀서 전체가 독립적으로 탑재된 것을 특징으로하는 라우드스피커 결합형 서스펜디드 세일링타일.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 탄성 서스펜션은 매달려 있는 세일링에서 라디에이터를 지지하기 위해 라디에이터의 주변부에 배치되는 것을 특징으로하는 서스펜디드 세일링타일.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 라디에이터는 고모듈 표피부들에 의해 샌드위치된 다공성코아로 구성되는 강성경량 패널인 것을 특징으로하는 서스펜디드 세일링타일.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 코아는 발포플라스틱으로 된 것을 특징으로하는 서스펜디드 세일링타일.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 트랜스듀서는 관성진동 트랜스듀서인 것을 특징으로하는 서스펜디드 세일링타일.
