【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、ポリブチルアミン又は
ポリイソブチルアミンを含有する潤滑油に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】ポリブテニルアミン及びこれを燃料油又
は潤滑油の添加物として使用することは古くから知られ
ており、例えば米国特許３２７５５５４号明細書及び西
独特許２１２５０３９号明細書に記載されている。
【０００３】公知のポリブテニルアミンは、ポリブテン
をハロゲン化し、そしてこのハロゲン化物をアミンと反
応させることにより製造される。この物質の製造におい
ては、イオン性ハロゲンが生じて、これをできるだけ除
去せねばならない。したがって既知の生成物を改良する
試みがなされたことがあるが、その場合はイオン性ハロ
ゲンを多額の費用のかかる方法によって除去することが
必要であり、しかも反応生成物中に常に著量のハロゲン
が残留する（***特許２２４５９１８号参照）。
【０００４】***特許２７０２６０４号明細書には、い
わゆる反応性ポリイソブテンが記載されており、これを
無水マレイン酸（ＭＳＡ）及びオリゴ−又はポリアミン
と反応させると、鉱油助剤にすることができる。こうし
て得られる鉱油助剤は、ほとんどハロゲン不含である利
点を有する。このＭＳＡの困難な付加反応は、タールす
なわち希望しない副生物の生成と結びついている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の課題は、自動
車モーターの注入系における沈殿物を防止し、かつ特に
良好な分散作用を有する潤滑油を提供することであっ
た。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明はこの課題を解決

ｎ−ブテンから導かれたポリブチル基又はポリイソブチ
ル基であり、Ｒ2 及びＲ3 は同一でも異なってもよく、

二級の芳香族又は脂肪族のアミノアルキレン基又はポリ
アミノアルキレン基、ポリオキシアルキレン基、複素芳
香族基又は複素環族基であるか、あるいはそれが結合す
る窒素原子と一緒になって、さらに異種原子を連鎖中に
含有しうる環を形成してもよい）で表わされるポリブチ

同一でも異なってもよく、それぞれ水素原子、アルキル
基、アリール基、ヒドロキシアルキル基、又は次式

次式 ［−Ｒ4−ＮＲ5］mＲ6 （ＩＩＩ） のポリアミノアルキレン基（ただし各Ｒ4 ならびに各Ｒ
5 は同一でも異なってよく、Ｒ4 、Ｒ5 及びＲ6 は前記
の意味を有し、ｍは２〜８の整数）、又は次式 ［−Ｒ4−Ｏ］n−Ｘ （ＩＶ） のポリオキシアルキレン基（ただし各Ｒ4 は同一でも異
なってもよく、前記の意味を有し、Ｘはアルキル基又は
水素原子、ｎは１〜３０の整数である）であり、あるい
はＲ2 とＲ3 がそれぞれ結合する窒素原子と一緒になっ
て、モルホリニル基、ピリジル基、ピペリジル基、ピロ
リル基、ピリミジニル基、ピロリニル基、ピロリジニル
基、ピラジニル基又はピリダジニル基を形成する化合
物。

のｎ−ブテンから導かれる３２〜２００個の炭素原子を
有するポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基、Ｒ2 及びＲ
3 は同一でも異なってもよく、それぞれ水素原子、メチ
ル基、エチル基、ｎ−プロピル基、イソプロピル基、ｎ
−ブチル基、二級ブチル基、イソブチル基、三級ブチル
基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、フェニル基、

加は価格の点でも特に有利である。ポリイソブテンは、

００のものであってよい。

又はポリイソブテンをロジウム触媒又はコバルト触媒を
用いて、ＣＯ及びＨ2 の存在下に８０〜２００℃の温度
及び６００バールまでのＣＯ／Ｈ2 圧においてヒドロホ
ルミル化し、続いてオキソ化生成物をマンニッヒ反応又
は水素化アミノ化反応にかけることにより製造できる。
アミノ化反応は、好しくは８０〜２００℃の温度及び６
００バール以下特に８０〜３００バールの圧力において
行われる。

を低下させるため、好ましくは適当な不活性溶剤が用い
られる。溶剤としては、特に硫黄の少ない脂肪族、脂環
族又は芳香族の炭化水素が適する。特に好ましいもの
は、硫黄化合物不含で芳香族物質の含量が１％以下の脂
肪族溶剤である。これは高いアミノ化温度において、水
素化熱を遊離することなく、そして水素を消費すること
もない。アミノ化反応及びヒドロホルミル化反応におい
て、溶剤含量は重合体及び溶剤の粘度によって、０〜７
０重量％である。より以上の希釈は、酸化とアミノ化の
間での溶剤交換と同様に不経済である。
【００３７】本発明の方法においては、そのままで８０
〜９０％のポリブテン変化率が達せられる。主としてイ
ソブテン単位から構成されるポリブテン（イソブテン含
量は多少とも８０重量％以上）は、例えば３００〜５０
００好ましくは５００〜２５００の分子量Ｍｎを有す
る。本発明によれば、いわゆる反応性ポリブテン特にポ
リブテンＡ、Ｂ又はＣを使用できる。反応性ポリブテン
とは、高い化学的単一性を有し、二重結合の１０％以上
がα位にある不飽和重合体を意味する。このようなポリ
ブテンを製造する方法は、***特許２７０２６０４号明
細書に記載されている。こうして製造された重合体は、
トリ置換されたα−オレフィン約６０％及びβ−オレフ
ィン３０％を含有する。
【００３８】中程度反応性のポリブテンは、普通はイソ
ブテン又はイソブテン含有Ｃ4 −留分を、アルミニウム
含有触媒を用いて重合させることにより得られる。これ
は化学的にあまり単一でなく、そして多くは１０％以下
のごくわずかのα−オレフィンを含有する。Ｃ13−ＮＭ
Ｒの記号は差異を示す。β位のトリ置換された化学的に
単一の部分はポリブテンＢでは約４０％であり、α−オ
レフィン量は約１０％である。
【００３９】ポリブテンＡは反応性の少ないものとさ
れ、認めうるほどの化学的に単一な部分を有しない。
【００４０】本発明の一般式Ｉのポリアミン及び以下に
記載される一般式Ｖのアルコールを製造するための好適
なポリブテン及びポリイソブテンは、平均重合度が１０
〜１００で、無水マレイン酸と反応しうる二重結合Ｅが
６０〜９０％である。この場合Ｅ＝１００％は、ブテン
又はイソブテンの重合体の各分子がこの反応性二重結合
を含有する場合について、理論的に算出された値であ
る。値Ｅは、ポリイソブテンと無水マレイン酸の重量比
５：１において混合物を撹拌下に２００℃に４時間加熱
反応させるために算出される。これに関する詳細は英国
特許１５９２０１６号明細書に記載され、ここに参照す
ることができる。
【００４１】ポリブテンとしては市販のものを使用でき
る。
【００４２】ヒドロホルミル化において生成したオキソ
生成物は、普通はアルデヒド／アルコール混合物として
存在する。これは混合物のままでさらに加工できるが、
貯蔵安定にするため、あらかじめ完全水素化してもよ
い。水素化生成物は反応性が低くなる。
【００４３】本発明はさらに、一般式 Ｒ1−ＣＨ2−ＯＨ （Ｖ） （Ｒ1はイソブテン及び２０重量％までのｎ−ブテンか
ら導かれるポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基である）
のヒドロホルミル化によって得られるポリブチルアルコ
ール及びポリイソブチルアルコールに関する。この化合
物は例えば式Ｉの化合物の製造用中間体である。特に好
ましいものは、Ｒ1 が２０〜４００個の炭素原子を有す
るものである。
【００４４】経済的理由から、Ｒ2 及びＲ3 がいずれも
水素原子である式Ｉのポリブチル−又はポリイソブチル
アミンが、燃料油すなわち本発明の燃料組成物のため、
弁の清浄保持又は清掃用添加物として適する。燃料油へ
の一般式Ｉのポリブチル−又はポリイソブチルアミンの
添加量は、好ましくは１０〜２０００ｍｇ／ｋｇ特に５
０〜８００ｍｇ／ｋｇの範囲である。燃焼モーター用の
オット−燃料への添加物として、最適の作用は１００〜
４００ｐｐｍの範囲において得られる。特にポリアミン
例えばジメチルアミノプロピルアミンを、又は窒素含量
の高い低分子量のポリブチル部又はポリブチル部を有す
る一般式Ｉのポリブチルアミン又はポリイソブチルアミ
ンを、さらに普通の担体物質例えばポリブテン、ポリブ
チルアルコール、灯油又は他の鉱油と共に添加すると、
少量の添加で同じ良好な効果が得られる。ポリアミン例
えばジエチレントリアミンないしペンタエチレンヘキサ
ミンを添加すると、電化器清浄剤又は潤滑用のいわゆる
灰分不含の分散剤が得られる。
【００４５】本発明のポリブチル−又はポリイソブチル
アミンのハロゲン含量は、添加物のそれに相当し、普通
は３０ｍｇ／ｋｇ以下である。
【００４６】一般式Ｉの化合物の中に水酸基が存在する
と、この化合物は特に燃料油添加物として有用である。
【００４７】本発明の潤滑油は技術水準のものと比較し
て、例えば添加物が飽和化合物であること、腐食の問題
を起こさないこと、その製造が価格の点で満足できかつ
環境親和性であること、塩素又は臭素が混入しないこと
等の利点を有する。
【００４８】
【実施例】
例１（参考例） 分子量Ｍｎ＝９５０のポリブテン５０００ｇ、ドデカン
３００ｇ及びコバルトオクタカルボニル２．８ｇを、
２．５ ｌの往復撹拌式オートクレーブ中で、２８０バ
ールＣＯ／Ｈ2 （１：１）で撹拌しながら１８５℃に５
時間加熱する。次いで室温に冷却し、１０％酢酸４００
ｍｌを用いて触媒を除去する。さらに中性に洗浄し、得
られたオキソ生成物を、アンモニア１ ｌならびにエタ
ノール３００ｇ及びラネーコバルト１００ｇを用いて、
５ ｌの回転式オートクレーブ中で、水素２００バール
により１８０℃で５時間処理する。冷却後、濾過して触
媒を分離し、過剰のアンモニアを蒸発し、溶剤を蒸留に
より除去する。
【００４９】ここに使用されたポリブテンは、***特許
２７０２６０４号の方法により製造された高反応性のポ
リブテンＣである。ポリブテン変化率を下記表に示す。
【００５０】例２（参考例） 例１と同様に操作し、ただし触媒としてロジウムカルボ
ニルアセチルアセトネート０．５ｇを用いて１２０℃
で、、ヒドロホルミル化を行う。アンモニアの代わりに
ジメチルアミノプロピルアミンを使用し、アミノ化段階
の反応温度は８０℃とする。ヒドロホルミル化反応は主
としてアルデヒドの方向へ進行するので、反応はジメチ
ルアミノプロピルアミンにより容易にされる。過剰のア
ミンは溶剤と一緒に蒸留除去される。
【００５１】例３〜５（参考例） 例１と同様に操作し、ただしアミン成分としてジメチル
アミノプロピルアミンを使用し、ポリブテンとして例３
では反応性の低いポリブテン（ボリブテンＡと呼ぶ）
を、例４では中程度活性のポリブテンＢを使用し、例５
では高活性ポリブテンＣを使用する。このポリブテンは
９００〜１０００の分子量Ｍｎを有する。例１と同様に
変化率は、未反応ポリブテンだけを含有する蒸発したヘ
キサン留分を、シリカゲル上のカラムクロマトグラフィ
ンにより比重測定をして定められる。この留分の純度は
塩基度及び窒素測定により確定される。
【００５２】例６ 例１と同様に操作し、ただし触媒としてコバルトオクタ
カルボニル２．８ｇを使用し、アミン成分はテトラエチ
レンペンタミンとする。
【００５３】比較例Ａ及びＢ 技術水準の生成物を、米国特許３２７５５５４号明細書
例１の方法により、ポリブテンＣを塩素化し、そして脱
ハロゲン化水素することにより製造する。比較例Ｂの場
合は、ポリブチレン塩化物を経由する合成工程におい
て、本発明より低い変化率が得られ、これは***特許２
２４５９１８号の場合と一致する。
【００５４】前記化合物の燃料油及び潤滑油への利用に
ついて、例１〜５及び比較例Ａは、これを添加した燃料
油の試験成績、例６及び比較例Ｂはこれを添加した潤滑
油の試験成績を示す。
【００５５】添加物を含有する燃料油の弁清浄化作用
は、オペル−カデットの１．２ ｌモーターの弁沈着物
について、ＣＥＣ法Ｆ−０２−Ｃ７９の規格試験により
４０時間後に評価された。
【００５６】潤滑油への分散用は、シリング著Ｌｅｓ
Ｈｕｉｌｅｓ Ｐｏｕｒ Ｍｏｔｅｕｒｓ ｅｔ ｌｅ
Ｇｒａｉｓｓａｇｅ ｄｅｓ Ｍｏｔｅｕｒｓ １巻
１９６２年８９〜９０頁に記載の班点法により定められ
る。
【００５７】第１表及び第２表にまとめて示すデータに
より、本発明の潤滑油が、技術水準のものより明らかに
優れた分散作用を有することが認められる。

  1. 【請求項１】 一般式 【化１】 （Ｒ1 はイソブテン及び２０重量％までのｎ−ブテンか
    ら導かれたポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基であり、
    Ｒ2 及びＲ3 は同一でも異なってもよく、水素原子、脂
    肪族又は芳香族の炭化水素残基、一級又は二級の芳香族
    又は脂肪族のアミノアルキレン基又はポリアミノアルキ
    レン基、ポリオキシアルキレン基、複素芳香族基又は複
    素環族基であるか、あるいはそれが結合する窒素原子と
    一緒になって、さらに異種原子を連鎖中に含有しうる環
    を形成してもよい）で表わされるポリブチルアミン又は
    ポリイソブチルアミンの少なくとも１種を含有する潤滑
    油。
