Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、ポリブチルアミン又はポリイソブチルアミン
を含有する燃料油に関する。
ポリブテニルアミン及びこれを燃料油又は潤滑油の添加
物として使用することは古くから知られており、例えば
米国特許3275554号明細書及び***特許2125039号明細書
に記載されている。
公知のポリブテニルアミンは、ポリブテンをハロゲン化
し、そしてこのハロゲン化物をアミンと反応させること
により製造される。この物質の製造においては、イオン
性ハロゲンが生じて、これをできるだけ除去せねばなら
ない。したがつて既知の生成物を改良する試みがなされ
たことがあるが、その場合はイオン性ハロゲンを多額の
費用のかかる方法によつて除去することが必要であり、
しかも反応生成物中に常に著量のハロゲンが残留する
（***特許2245918号参照）。
***特許2702604号明細書には、いわゆる反応性ポリイ
ソブテンが記載されており、これを無水マレイン酸（MS
A）及びオリゴー又はポリアミンと反応させると、鉱油
助剤にすることができる。こうして得られる鉱油助剤
は、ほとんどハロゲン不含である利点を有する。このMS
Aの困難な付加反応は、タールすなわち希望しない副生
物の生成と結びついている。
本発明の課題は、自動車モーターの注入系における沈澱
物を防止し、かつ特に良好な分散作用を有する燃料油を
提供することであつた。
本発明はこの課題を解決するもので、一般式 （R1はイソブテン及び20重量％までのｎ−ブテンから導
かれたポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基であり、R2及
びR3は同一でも異なつてもよく、水素原子、脂肪族又は
芳香族の炭化水素残基、一級又は二級の芳香族又は脂肪
族のアミノアルキレン基又はポリアミノアルキレン基、
ポリオキシアルキレン基、複素芳香族基又は複素環族基
であるか、あるいはそれが結合する窒素原子と一緒にな
つて、さらに異種原子を連鎖中に含有しうる環を形成し
てもよい）で表されるポリブチルアミン又はポリイソブ
チルアミンの少なくとも一種を含有する燃料油である。
本発明の好ましい実施態様においては、燃料油は次の化
合物を含有する。式ＩにおいてR1がイソブテン及び20重
量％までのｎ−ブテンから誘導されたポリブチル基又は
ポリイソブチル基で、R2及びR3が同一でも異なつてもよ
く、それぞれ水素原子、アルキル基、アリール基、ヒド
ロキシアルキル基、又は次式 のアミノアルキレン基（ただしR4はアルキレン基、R5及
びR6は同一でも異なつてもよく、それぞれ水素原子、ア
ルキル基、アリール基、ヒドロキシアルキル基、ポリブ
チル基又はポリイソブチル基）又は次式 〔−R4−NR5〕mR6 （III） のポリアミノアルキレン基（ただし各R4ならびに各R5は
同一でも異なつてもよく、R4、R5及びR6は前記の意味を
有し、ｍは２〜８の整数）、又は次式 〔−R4−Ｏ〕ｎ−Ｘ （IV） のポリオキシアルキレン基（ただし各R4は同一でも異な
つてもよく、前記の意味を有し、Ｘはアルキル基又は水
素原子、ｎは１〜30の整数である）であり、あるいはR2
とR3がそれが結合する窒素原子と一緒になつて、モルホ
リニル基、ピリジル基、ピペリジル基、ピロリル基、ピ
リミジニル基、ピロリニル基、ピロリジニル基、ピラニ
ジル基又はピリダジニル基を形成する化合物。
本発明の特に好ましい実施態様においては、次の化合物
が用いられる。
式Ｉにおいて、R1がイソブテン及び2.0重量％までのｎ
−ブテンから導かれた20〜400の炭素原子を有するポリ
ブチル基又はポリイソブチル基、R2及びR3が同一でも異
なつてもよく、それぞれ水素原子、C1〜C10−アルキル
基、フエニル基、ナフチル基、C1〜C10−ヒドロキシア
ルキル基、次式 のアミノアルキレン基（ただしR4はC1〜C10−アルキレ
ン基、R5及びR6は同一でも異なつてもよく、それぞれ水
素原子、C1〜C10−アルキル基、フエニル基、ナフチル
基、C1〜C10−ヒドロキシアルキル基又はそれぞれ20〜4
00個の炭素原子を有するポリブチル基又はポリイソブチ
ル基）、次式 R4−NR5 mR6 （III） のポリアミノアルキレン基（ただし各R4及びR5は同一で
も異なつてもよく、R4、R5及びR6は前記の意味を有し、
ｍは２〜８の整数）、又は次式 R4−ＯnH （IV） のポリオキシアルキレン基（ただし各R4は同一でも異な
つてもよく、前記の意味を有し、ｎは１〜30の整数）で
あり、あるいはR2とR3がそれが結合する窒素原子と一緒
になつて、モルホリニル基を形成する化合物。
他の好ましい実施態様によれば、この燃料油は、置換基
が下記の意味を有する式ＩないしIVの化合物を含有す
る。R1はイソブテン及び20重量％までのｎ−ブテンから
導かれる32〜200個の炭素原子を有するポリブチル基又
はポリイソブチル基、R2及びR3は同一でも異なつてもよ
く、それぞれ水素原子、メチル基、エチル基、ｎ−プロ
ピル基、イソプロピル基、ｎ−ブチル基、二級ブチル
基、イソブチル基、三級ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシ
ル基、フエニル基、−CH2CH2−NH2、 CH2CH2−NHpCH2CH2−NH2（ｐは１〜７特に１〜３の
整数）又は−CH2CH2−OH又はCH2CH2−ＯqCH2−OH
（ｑは１〜30の整数）を意味するか、あるいはそれが結
合する窒素原子と一緒になつてモルホリニル基を意味す
る。
燃料油添加物において、有効性を失うことなしに有効物
質の約50重量％までをポリイソブテン（PIB）で置き換
えることができるので、PIBの添加は価格の点でも特に
有利である。ポリイソブテンは、分子量Mnが300〜2000
好ましくは500〜1500のものであつてよい。
本発明の燃料油組成物は燃焼モーター用の燃料油として
は、一般式Ｉのポリブチルアミン又はポリイソブチルア
ミンを、例えば10〜2000mg/kg特に100〜400mg/kgの量で
含有しうる。
本発明は、一般式 で表わされるポリブチルアミン及びポリイソブチルアミ
ンに関する。この式中、R1はイソブテン及び20重量％ま
でのｎ−ブテンから導かれる20〜400個の炭素原子を有
するポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基であり、R2及び
R3は同一でも異なつてもよく、それぞれ水素原子、C1〜
C10−アルキル基、フエニル基、ナフチル基、C1〜C10−
ヒドロキシアルキル基、次式 のアミノアルキレン基（ただしR4はC1〜C10−アルキレ
ン基、R5及びR6は同一でも異なつてもよく、それぞれ水
素原子、C1〜C10−アルキル基、フエニル基、ナフチル
基、C1〜C10−ヒドロキシアルキル基又はそれぞれ20〜4
00個の炭素原子を有するポリブチル基又はポリイソブチ
ル基）、次式 R4−NR5 mR6 （III） のポリアミノアルキレン基（ただし各R4及びR5は同一で
も異なつてもよく、R4、R5及びR6は前記の意味を有し、
ｍは２〜８の整数）、又は次式 R4−ＯnH （IV） のポリオキシアルキレン基（ただし各R4は同一でも異な
つてもよく、前記の意味を有し、ｎは１〜30の整数）で
あり、あるいはR2とR3はそれが結合する窒素原子と一緒
になつて、モルホリニル基を形成してもよい。これらの
化合物は単独で又は混合して用いられる。
一般式Ｉの化合物は、対応するポリブテン又はポリイソ
ブテンをロジウム触媒又はコバルト触媒を用いて、CO及
びH2の存在下に80〜200℃の温度及び600バールまでのCO
/H2圧においてヒドロホルミル化し、続いてオキソ化生
成物をマンニツヒ反応又は水素化アミノ化反応にかける
ことにより製造できる。アミノ化反応は、好ましくは80
〜200℃の温度及び600バール以下特に80〜300バールの
圧力において行われる。
この製造法においては、反応混合物の粘度を低下させる
ため、好ましくは適当な不活性溶剤が用いられる。溶剤
としては、特に硫黄の少ない脂肪族、脂環族又は芳香族
の炭化水素が適する。特に好ましいものは、硫黄化合物
不含で芳香族物質の含量が１％以下の脂肪族溶剤であ
る。これは高いアミノ化温度において、水素化熱を遊離
することなく、そして水素を消費することもない。アミ
ノ化反応及びヒドロホルミル化反応において、溶剤含量
は重合体及び溶剤の粘度によつて、０〜70重量％であ
る。より以上の希釈は、酸化とアミノ化の間での溶剤交
換と同様に不経済である。
本発明の方法においては、そのままで80〜90％のポリブ
テン変化率が達せられる。主としてイソブテン単位から
構成されるポリブテン（イソブテン含量は多少とも80重
量％以上）は、例えば300〜5000好ましくは500〜2500の
分子量Mnを有する。本発明によれば、いわゆる反応性ポ
リブテン特にポリブテンＡ、Ｂ又はＣを使用できる。反
応性ポリブテンとは、高い化学的単一性を有し、二重結
合の10％以上がα位にある不飽和重合体を意味する。こ
のようなポリブテンを製造する方法は、***特許270260
4号明細書に記載されている。こうして製造された重合
体は、トリ置換されたα−オレフイン約60％及びβ−オ
レフイン30％を含有する。
中程度反応性のポリブテンは、普通はイソブテン又はイ
ソブテン含有C4−留分を、アルミニウム含有触媒を用い
て重合させることにより得られる。化学的にはあまり単
一でなく、そして多くは10％以下のごくわずかのα−オ
レフインを含有する。C13−NMRの記号は差異を示す。β
位のトリ置換された化学的に単一の部分はポリブテンＢ
では約40％であり、α−オレフイン量は約10％である。
ポリブテンＡは反応性の少ないものとされ、認めうるほ
どの化学的に単一な部分を有しない。
本発明の以下に記載される一般式Ｖのポリアミン及び一
般式Ｖのアルコールを製造するための好適なポリブテン
及びポリイソブテンは、平均重合度が10〜100で、無水
マレイン酸の反応しうる二重結合部Ｅが60〜90％であ
る。この場合Ｅ＝100％は、ブテン又はイソブテンの重
合体の各分子がこの反応性二重結合を含有する場合につ
いて、理論的に算出された値である。値Ｅは、ポリイソ
ブテンと無水マレイン酸の重量比5:1において混合物を
撹拌下に200℃に４時間加熱反応させるために算出され
る。これに関する詳細は英国特許1592016号明細書に記
載され、ここに参照することができる。
ポリブテンとしては市販のものを使用できる。
ヒドロホルミル化において生成したオキソ生成物は、普
通はアルデヒド／アルコール混合物として存在する。こ
れは混合物のままでさらに加工できるが、貯蔵安定にす
るため、あらかじめ完全水素化してもよい。水素化生成
物は反応性が低くなる。
本発明はさらに、一般式 R1−CH2−OH （Ｖ） （R1はイソブテン及び20重量％までのｎ−ブテンから導
かれるポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基である）のヒ
ドロホルミル化によつて得られるポリブチルアルコール
及びポリイソブチルアルコールに関する。この化合物は
例えば式Ｉの化合物の製造用中間体である。特に好まし
いものは、R1が20〜400個の炭素原子を有するものであ
る。
経済的理由から、R2及びR3がいずれも水素原子である式
Ｉのポリブチル−又はポリイソブチルアミンが、燃料油
すなわち本発明の燃料組成物のため、弁の清浄保持又は
清掃用添加物として適する。燃料油への一般式Ｉのポリ
ブチル−又はポリイソブチルアミンの添加量は、好まし
くは10〜2000mg/kg特に50〜800mg/kgの範囲である。燃
焼モーター用のオツトー燃料への添加物として、最適の
作用は100〜400ppmの範囲において得られる。特にポリ
アミン例えばジメチルアミノプロピルアミンを、又は窒
素含量の高い低分子量のポリブチル部又はポリイソブチ
ル部を有する一般式Ｉのポリブチルアミン又はポリイソ
ブチルアミンを、さらに普通の担体物質例えばポリブテ
ン、ポリブチルアルコール、灯油又は他の鉱油と共に添
加すると、少量の添加で同じ良好な効果が得られる。ポ
リアミン例えばジエチレントリアミンないしペンタエチ
レンヘキサミンを添加すると、気化器清浄剤又は潤滑油
用のいわゆる灰分不含の分散剤が得られる。
本発明のポリブチル−又はポリイソブチルアミンのハロ
ゲン含量は、添加物のそれに相当し、普通は30mg/kg以
下である。
一般式Ｉの化合物の中に水酸基が存在すると、この化合
物は特に燃料油添加物として有用である。
本発明の燃料油は技術水準のものと比較して、例えば添
加物が飽和化合物であること、腐食の問題を起こさない
こと、その製造が価格の点で満足できかつ環境親和性で
あること、塩素又は臭素が混入しないこと等の利点を有
する。
例１ 分子量Mn＝950のポリブテン500g、ドデカン300g及びコ
バルトオクタカルボニル2.8gを、2.5の往復撹拌式オ
ートクレーブ中で、280バールCO/H2（1:1）で撹拌しな
がら185℃に５時間加熱する。次いで室温に冷却し、10
％酢酸400mlを用いて触媒を除去する。さらに中性に洗
浄し、得られたオキソ生成物を、アンモニア１ならび
にエタノール300g及びラネーコバルト100gを用いて、５
の回転式オートクレーブ中で、水素200バールにより1
80℃で５時間処理する。冷却御、過して触媒を分離
し、過剰のアンモニアを蒸発し、溶剤を蒸留により除去
する。
ここに使用されたポリブテンは、***特許2702604号の
方法により製造された高反応性のポリブテンＣである。
ポリブテン変化率を下記表に示す。
例２ 例１と同様に操作し、ただし触媒としてロジウムカルボ
ニルアセチルアセトネート0.5gを用いて120℃で、ヒド
ロホルミル化を行う。アンモニアの代わりにジメチルア
ミノプロピルアミンを使用し、アミノ化段階の反応温度
は80℃とする。ヒドロホルミル化反応は主としてアルデ
ヒドの方向へ進行するので、反応はジメチルアミノプロ
ピルアミンにより容易にされる。過剰のアミンは溶剤と
一緒に蒸留除去される。
例３〜５ 例１と同様に操作し、ただしアミン成分としてジメチル
アミノプロピルアミンを使用し、ポリブテンとして例３
では反応性の低いポリブテン（ポリブテンＡと呼ぶ）
を、例４では中等度活性のポリブテンＢを使用し、例５
では高活性ポリブテンＣを使用する。このポリブテンは
900〜1000の分子量Mnを有する。例１と同様に変化率
は、未反応ポリブテンだけを含有する蒸発したヘキサン
留分を、シリカゲル上のカラムクロマトグラフイにより
比重測定をして定められる。この留分の純度は塩基度及
び窒素測定により確定される。
例６（参考例） 例１と同様に操作し、ただし触媒としてコバルトオクタ
カルボニル2.8gを使用し、アミン成分はテトラエチレン
ペンタミンとする。
比較例Ａ及びＢ 技術水準の生成物を、米国特許3275554号明細書例１の
方法により、ポリブテンＣを塩素化し、そして脱ハロゲ
ン化水素することにより製造する。比較例Ｂの場合は、
ポリブチレン塩化物を経由する合成工程において、本発
明より低い変化率が得られ、これは***特許2245918号
の場合と一致する。
前記化合物の燃料油及び潤滑油への利用について、例１
〜５及び比較例Ａは、これを添加した燃料油の試験成
績、例６（参考例）及び比較例Ｂはこれを添加した潤滑
油の試験成績を示す。
添加物を含有する燃料油の弁清浄化作用は、オペル−カ
デツトの1.2モーターの弁沈着物について、CEC法Ｆ−
02−C79の規格試験により40時間後に評価された。
循環油への分散作用は、シリング著Les Huiles Pour Mo
teurs et le Graissage des Moteurs1巻1962年89〜90頁
に記載の斑点法により定められる。
第１表及び第２表にまとめて示すデータにより、本発明
の燃料油が、技術水準のものより明らかに優れた弁清浄
作用を有することが認められる。

  1. 【請求項１】一般式 （R1はイソブテン及び20重量％までのｎ−ブテンから導
    かれたポリブチル基又はポリイソブチル基であり、R2及
    びR3は同一でも異なってもよく、水素原子、脂肪族又は
    芳香族の炭化水素残基、一級又は二級の芳香族又は脂肪
    族のアミノアルキレン基、ポリアミノアルキレン基、ポ
    リオキシアルキレン基、複素芳香族基または複素環族基
    であるかあるいはそれが結合する窒素原子と一緒になっ
    て、さらに異種原子を連鎖中に含有しうる環を形成して
    もよい）で表されるポリブチルアミン又はポリイソブチ
    ルアミンの少なくとも一種を含有する燃料油。
