Claims (8)
- ホイール(3)の内側空間部分に配設される電動モータ(A)と、この電動モータ(A)に減速機(B)を介して連結される車輪ハブ(C)とからなるインホイールモータ駆動装置(1)において、前記減速機(B)を、電動モータ(A)に対して車両のアウトボード側に配置した平行歯車減速機とし、この平行歯車減速機の出力歯車(9)の歯車軸(9a)をハウジング(11)に対して両持ち支持し、この両持ち支持された出力歯車(9)の歯車軸(9a)の内径側に、車輪ハブ(C)の出力軸(13)をスプライン結合するスプライン穴(9b)を設け、このスプライン穴(9b)が前記出力歯車(9)と径方向に重なる位置にあり、前記平行歯車減速機の前記出力歯車(9)とカウンタ歯車(8)の小径歯車(8b)の噛み合い部が、ホイール(3)の軸方向のインボード側端面よりもアウトボード側に位置することを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記出力歯車(9)の歯車軸(9a)を両持ち支持するアウトボード側の軸受(15)とインボード側の軸受(14)を設け、アウトボード側の軸受(15)を、インボード側の軸受(14)よりも負荷容量の大きい軸受としたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記電動モータ(A)と平行歯車減速機の間に、一方の面に電動モータ(A)を、他方の面に減速機を取付ける中間プレート(5)を設け、この中間プレート(5)に前記出力歯車(9)の歯車軸(9a)を支持するインボード側の軸受(14)を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記車輪ハブ(C)の内径面にスプライン結合された出力軸(13)のスプライン部(13a)と、前記出力歯車(9)のスプライン穴(9b)にスプライン結合された出力軸(13)のスプライン部(13a)の間に、ねじり強度が最弱となる小径部(13d)を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記出力軸(13)にスプライン結合された車輪ハブ(C)の内方部材(16)を、出力軸(13)のアウトボード側の先端部にネジ結合されたナット(19)により固定し、この内方部材(16)の外径側に複列のハブ軸受(17)を設け、このハブ軸受(17)の内輪(23)のインボード側の端面に当接する予圧用フランジ(13c)を前記出力軸(13)に設け、前記のナット(19)の締め付けにより出力軸(13)の予圧用フランジ(13c)を介してハブ軸受(17)の内輪(23)に予圧を付与する請求項4に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記出力軸(13)の予圧用フランジ(13c)よりもインボード側に前記小径部(13d)を設けた請求項5記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記車輪ハブ(C)の外方部材(16)が、前記平行歯車減速機のハウジング(11)と一体に形成されている請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記平行歯車減速機の構成ギヤが焼結材料によって形成されている請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
