Claims (31)
- 活性電極材料の製造方法であって、全活性炭素重量に対して70重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から30重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有した活性炭素を準備するステップと、バインダを準備するステップと、前記活性炭素と前記バインダとを混合して混合物を得るステップと、を含んでいることを特徴とする方法。
- 活性炭素を準備するステップは、全活性炭素重量に対して80重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から20重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有した活性炭素を準備するステップであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 活性炭素を準備するステップは、全混合物重量に対して80重量%から97重量%の活性炭素を準備するステップであり、バインダを準備するステップは全混合物重量に対して3重量%から20重量%のバインダを準備するステップであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 導電性粒体を準備するステップをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 導電性粒体は導電性炭素を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 混合ステップは活性炭素とバインダとを乾燥ブレンドするステップを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 混合ステップは処理助剤を使用することなく実施されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 混合ステップは処理助剤を使用して実施されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 混合物から電極フィルムを製造するステップをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 電極であって、集電層と、該集電層に取り付けられる活性電極材料製のフィルムとを含んで成り、前記活性電極材料は全活性炭素重量に対して70重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から30重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有した活性炭素を含んでいることを特徴とする電極。
- 活性炭素は、80重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から20重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有していることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 活性電極材料は活性炭素とバインダとを含んでおり、フィルム重量に対して前記活性炭素は80重量%から97重量%であり、バインダは3重量%から20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 活性電極材料は活性炭素とバインダとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 電気化学二重層コンデンサであって、
第1集電層と、活性電極材料製の第1フィルムとを含んだ第1電極を含んでおり、該第1フィルムは第1面と第2面とを有しており、前記第1集電層は前記第1フィルムの前記第1面に取り付けられており、前記第1フィルムは、全活性炭素重量に対して70重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から30重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有した活性炭素を含んでおり、本コンデンサは、
第2集電層と、活性電極材料製の第2フィルムとを含んだ第2電極をさらに含んでおり
、該第2フィルムは第3面と第4面とを有しており、前記第2集電層は前記第2フィルムの前記第3面に取り付けられており、本コンデンサは、
前記第1フィルムの前記第2面と前記第2フィルムの前記第4面との間に配置される孔質セパレータと、容器と、電解質とをさらに含んでおり、
前記第1電極と、前記第2電極と、前記孔質セパレータと、前記電解質とは前記容器内に収納されており、
前記第1フィルムは前記電解質内に少なくともその一部が浸沈しており、前記第2フィルムは該電解質内に少なくともその一部が浸沈しており、前記孔質セパレータは該電解質内に少なくともその一部が浸沈していることを特徴とする二重層コンデンサ。 - フィルムは導電性接着層を介してそれぞれ対応する集電層に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項14記載の二重層コンデンサ。
- 活性炭素は、70重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、2重量%から30重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを有していることを特徴とする請求項14記載の二重層コンデンサ。
- 活性電極材料は活性炭素とバインダとを含んでおり、フィルム重量に対して前記活性炭素は80重量%から97重量%であり、バインダは3重量%から20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項14記載の二重層コンデンサ。
- 活性電極材料は活性炭素とバインダとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項14記載の二重層コンデンサ。
- 活性電極材料は活性炭素とバインダとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 活性電極材料のフィルムは、処理溶媒の残留物及び添加バインダを含まない乾燥カーボン及び乾燥バインダの乾燥混合物を含む乾燥フィルムを備えることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 活性電極材料のフィルムは3から20重量%であることを特徴とする請求項19記載の電極。
- バインダはポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項19記載の電極。
- 電極はコンデンサ電極であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 電極はバッテリ電極であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 集電層は、連続状金属フォイル、金属メッシュまたは金属製不織布を含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 活性炭素の総量は、全活性炭素重量に対して85重量%から95重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、5重量%から15重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体とを含むことを特徴とする請求項10記載の電極。
- 電極を備えるエネルギー保存装置であって、
前記電極は、集電層と、前記集電層に取り付けられた活性電極材料の乾燥フィルムとを、備え、
前記活性電極材料は、全活性炭素重量に対して70重量%から98重量%のミクロ孔質活性炭素粒体と、全活性炭素重量に対して2重量%から30重量%のメソ孔質活性炭素粒体と、乾燥バインダと、を含むことを特徴とするエネルギー保存装置。 - バインダはPTFEを含むことを特徴とする請求項27記載のエネルギー保存装置。
- フィルムは処理溶媒の残留物を含んでいないことを特徴とする請求項27記載のエネルギー保存装置。
- 該エネルギー保存装置はコンデンサであることを特徴とする請求項27記載のエネルギー保存装置。
- 該エネルギー保存装置はバッテリであることを特徴とする請求項27記載のエネルギー保存装置。
