Abstract

Driving-gear applied to differential pulley blocks comprises a linkage for conveying rotary motion according to which a driving eccentric or cam c actuates a set of radially-arranged reciprocating plungers e, which co-act with inclined planes or rollers g formed tooth-like in a circular member. In the arrangement shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the train is duplicated, there being two oppositelydirected eccentrics c, d on a driving-shaft a. The two sets of plungers e, f are carried in a frame b<1>, which with a shaft b is driven slowly either forwards or backwards according to the relative spacing of the plungers and the tooth-like elements g, h, which are fixed.
