Variable-speed epicyclic gearing comprises a planetary pinion b with roller teeth c which meshes with two tracks f, g so as to impart a differential motion. The pinion b is loose on a crank or eccentric e upon driving-shaft k. The tracks #, g are formed with arcuate recesses of different pitches engaged by the roller teeth c. When track # is fixed, as shown, track g and shaft h are driven slowly. If track # be arranged to slip, shaft h is variably driven.
