Definitions
- the invention relates to a core or mask packaging machine for the fully automatic assembly of core or mask packages in foundry technology.
- the assembly of cores or masks has been done by hand.
- the work processes are carried out in succession.
- the accuracy of the core or mask package depends on the worker.
- the time required for manual packaging is significantly longer than the cycle time of the machine, i.e. Several workplaces must be set up to enable production that is possible with a high-performance machine.
- the accuracy of the core or mask package is also dependent on the manual adhesive application or on the amount of adhesive applied or on the reaction time still available for gluing the cores / masks to one another.
- the object of the invention is now to propose a machine for packaging cores or masks, with the aid of which the cores or masks coming from the core or mask shooting machine can be immediately assembled or packaged in accordance with the cycle time of this machine.
- the machine has a removal device for the cores or masks, a swiveling device, an adhesive application system, a packaging device and a dipping device.
- the removal device of the machine serves to remove the cores or masks from the core or mask shooting machine on a pallet, the cores or masks are brought into the vertical position with the aid of a swiveling device.
- the cores or masks stacked in this way are then provided with adhesive by means of a pivotable adhesive application system and assembled in a packaging device.
- the core or mask packages can then be brought into a diving device and provided with a coating.
- the machine is usually set up directly behind a core or mask shooter, or it can also package as a single unit, detached from the shooter.
- the adhesive is applied simultaneously to all core or mask divisions and the cores / masks are joined together in succession by a separate lifting device with an attached pressure cylinder, i.e. be packaged, and the core / mask package is pressed by the attached pressure cylinder to the final dimension within the reaction time of the adhesive, an automatic, accurate assembly with sufficient, longer adhesive reaction time is possible within the cycle time of a core or masking machine.
- the cores / masks 1 are gripped and adjusted by the lateral clamping devices 6 in the core / mask swiveling device 5, the cores / masks 1 are simultaneously swiveled up by 90 degrees by a swivel drive 7.
- the parallel guide 9, with which all clamping devices 6 are guided, ensures that all cores / masks 1 in the same position reach the swiveled position as they are transported from the removal pallet 3 out of the core and mask shooting machine. Furthermore, there are still the necessary free spaces that are required for the automatic adhesive application.
- the adhesive application system 10 is pivoted between the cores / masks 1 by a swivel drive 11. This is followed by the simultaneous application of the adhesive to the core / mask divisions through the adhesive application nozzles 12.
- the core / mask assembly or packaging is carried out according to FIG. 3 by the movable core / mask packaging device 13.
- the packaging device 13 is positioned over the cores / masks 1 via the travel drive 14.
- the cores / masks 1 are joined together, that is to say packaged, by the lifting device 15.
- the lifting device 15 When the individual cores / masks 1 are reached by the lifting device 15, the lateral clamping devices 6 are individually withdrawn and the cores / masks 1 are thus released for packaging.
- the core / mask package 18 is pressed together by the pressure cylinder 16 placed on the packaging device 13. As a result, the adhesive is pressed deep into the cores / masks 1 and a dimensionally accurate core / mask package 18 is achieved.
- a separate control device 17 controls the length of the core / mask package 18.
- the core / mask packaging device 13 drives the core / mask package 18 by means of the travel drive 14 on the area of the core / mask swiveling device 5 over the core / mask plunge pool 19.
- the core / mask package 18 is pivoted into the required diving position by an attached swivel drive 20 and placed on the diving tray 21. After the dipping process and the subsequent shaking off of the excess size (coating), the core / mask package 18 is transported from the area of the core / mask packaging device 13 by another handling device.

Description
- Fig. 4 den Transport der paketierten Kerne bzw.
