背景技术

具体实施方式
一个实施例涉及一种包括检测和连接到可用网络的逻辑的便携式关节臂坐标测量机(AACMM)。便携式AACMM直接进行网络连接的能力使得网络连接能够自动适应便携式AACMM。经由便携式AACMM自动连接网络避免了当经由除了便携式AACMM之外的装置为便携式AACMM配置网络连接时输入不正确的***描述(例如参数、硬件规格、软件级别等)的问题。
图1A和1B以透视方式图示了根据本发明的各种实施例的便携式关节臂坐标测量机(AACMM)100,关节臂是一种类型的坐标测量机。如图1A和1B所示,示例性的AACMM 100可以包括具有测量探头外壳102的六轴或七轴关节测量装置,测量探头外壳102在一端耦接到AACMM100的臂部件104。臂部件104包括通过第一组轴承筒110(例如两个轴承筒)耦接到第二臂分段108的第一臂分段106。第二组轴承筒112(例如两个轴承筒)将第二臂分段108耦接到测量探头外壳102。第三组轴承筒114(例如三个轴承筒)将第一臂分段106耦接到位于AACMM 100的臂部件104的另一端的基座116。每组轴承筒110、112、114用于多个关节移动轴。此外,测量探头外壳102可以包括AACMM 100的第七轴部件的支柱(例如包含确定测量装置的移动的编码器***的筒,例如在AACMM 100的第七轴上的探头118)。使用AACMM 100时,基座116典型地固定在工件表面上。

探头118可拆卸地安装到连接到轴承筒组112的测量探头外壳102。手柄126借助于例如快速接接口而相对于测量探头外壳102可拆卸。手柄126可由其他装置(例如激光线探头、条形码阅读器)代替,因此提供以下优势:使操作者能够针对同一AACMM 100使用不同的测量装置。在示例性实施例中,探头外壳102容纳可拆卸的探头118,探头118是接触式测量装置并且可以具有不同的顶端118,顶端118物理上接触待测物体,包括但不限于:球状、触敏、弯曲和扩展类型的探头。在其它实施例中,例如由非接触式装置比如激光线探头(LLP)进行测量。在一个实施例中,手柄126由使用快速连接接口的LLP代替。其它类型的测量装置可以代替可拆卸的手柄126以提供额外的功能。这样的测量装置的示例包括但不限于例如一个或多个照明灯、温度传感器、热扫描仪、条形码扫描仪、投影仪、涂料喷雾器、照相机等等。
如图1A和1B所示,AACMM 100包括可拆卸的手柄126,其提供以下优势:使得配件或功能能够不需要从轴承筒组112上拆除测量探头外壳102而改变。如在下面关于图2所详细讨论,可拆卸的手柄126还可以包括电连接器,所述电连接器使得能够与手柄126以及位于探头端的对应电子器件交换电力和数据。
在各种实施例中,每组轴承筒110、112、114使得AACMM 100的臂部件104能够围绕多个旋转轴移动。如所提及的,每个轴承筒组110、112、114包括对应的编码器***,比如光学角度编码器,每一个编码器***与例如臂分段106、108的对应旋转轴同轴排列。光学编码器***检测例如臂分段106、108中每一个围绕对应轴的旋转(旋轴)的或横向(铰链)移动,并将信号发送给在AACMM 100内的电子数据处理***,这将在下面详细描述。每个单独的原始编码器计数分别作为信号传送到电子数据处理***,在电子数据处理***中被进一步处理成测量数据。不需要如在共同受让的美国专利No.5,402,582(‘582)中所公开的与AACMM 100自身分离的位置计算器(例如串行盒)。
基座116可包括附接装置或安装装置120。安装装置120使得AACMM 100能够可拆卸地安装到想要的位置,比如检验台、加工中心、墙或地面。在一个实施例中,基座116包括手柄部件122,当AACMM 100移动时手柄部件122为操作者提供握住基座116的方便位置。在一个实施例中,基座116还包括可移动的覆盖部件124,覆盖部件124折叠下去从而露出用户接口,比如显示屏。
根据一个实施例,便携式AACMM 100的基座116包含或安装电子数据处理***,所述电子数据处理***包括两个主要组件:基本处理***,其处理来自AACMM 100内的各个编码器***的数据和表示支持三维(3D)位置计算的其它臂参数的数据;以及用户接口处理***,其包括板上操作***、触摸屏显示器和驻留应用软件,所述驻留应用软件使得能够在AACMM 100内完成相对完整的度量功能而不需要连接到外部计算机。
基座116中的电子数据处理***可与远离基座116的编码器***、传感器和其它外设硬件(例如能够安装在AACMM 100上的可拆卸手柄126上的LLP)通信。支持这些外设硬件设备或特性的电子器件可位于便携式AACMM 100内的每一个轴承筒组110、112、114中。
图2是根据一个实施例在AACMM 100中使用的电子器件的框图。图2示出的实施例包括电子数据处理***210,电子数据处理***210包括:用于实施基本处理***的基本处理板204、用户接口板202、用于提供电力的基本电力板206、蓝牙模块232以及基本倾斜板208。用户接口板202包括用于执行应用软件以完成用户接口、显示和在此描述的其它功能的计算机处理器。
如图2所示,电子数据处理***210经由一个或多个arm总线218与前面提及的多个编码器***进行通信。在图2图示的实施例中,每个编码器***产生编码器数据,并且包括:编码器arm总线接口214、编码器数字信号处理器(DSP)216、编码器读取头接口234和温度传感器212。其它装置,比如应力传感器,也可以附接到arm总线218。
图2还示出与arm总线218通信的探头端电子器件230。探头端电子器件230包括探头端DSP 228、温度传感器212、手柄/LLP接口总线240以及探头接口226,其中手柄/LLP接口总线240在一个实施例中经由快速连接接口与手柄126或LLP 242连接。快速连接接口使得手柄126能够接入到由LLP 242和其它附件使用的数据总线、控制线和电力总线。在一个实施例中,探头端电子器件230位于AACMM 100上的测量探头外壳102中。在一个实施例中,手柄126可从快速连接接口移除,并且测量可由经由手柄/LLP接口总线240与AACMM的探头端电子器件230通信的激光线探头(LLP)242进行。在一个实施例中,电子数据处理***210位于AACMM的基座116中,探头端电子器件230位于AACMM的测量探头外壳102中,而编码器***位于轴承筒组110、112、114中。探头接口226可通过任何合适的通信协议与探头端DSP 228连接,包括来自Maxim集成产品公司(Maxim Integrated Products,Inc.)的实施单总线通信协议236的商用产品。
图3是根据一个实施例描述AACMM 100的电子数据处理***210的详细特性的框图。在一个实施例中,电子数据处理***210位于AACMM 100的基座116中,并且包括基本处理板204、用户接口板202、基本电力板206、蓝牙模块232和基本倾斜模块208。
在图3所示的实施例中,基本处理板204包括在此图示的各个功能块。例如,基本处理器功能302用于支持从AACMM 100收集测量数据,并经由arm总线218和总线控制模块功能308接收原始臂数据(例如编码器***数据)。存储器功能304存储程序和静态臂配置数据。基本处理板204还包括用于与任何外部硬件设备或附件比如LLP 242通信的外部硬件选择端口功能310。实时时钟(RTC)和日志306、电池组接口(IF)316和诊断端口313也包括在图3中图示的基本处理器板204的实施例中的功能中。
基本处理器板204还管理与外部(主计算机)和内部(显示处理器202)装置的所有有线和无线数据通信。基本处理器板204具有经由以太网功能320与以太网(例如使用时钟同步标准比如电气和电子工程师协会(IEEE)1588)通信、经由LAN功能322与无线局域网(WLAN)通信、经由并行-串行通信(PSC)功能314与蓝牙模块232通信的功能。基本处理器板204还包括与通用串行总线(USB)设备312的连接。
基本处理器板204传送和收集原始测量数据(例如编码器***计数、温度读数)以便处理成测量数据而不需任何预处理,如同在前面提及的‘582专利的串行盒中公开的。基本处理器板204经由RS485接口(IF)326将经处理的数据发送到用户接口板202上的显示处理器328。在一个实施例中,基本处理器板204还将原始测量数据发送到外部计算机。
现在转到图3中的用户接口板202,通过在显示处理器328上执行的应用程序来使用由基本处理器接收到的角度和位置数据,从而提供在AACMM 100内的独立度量***。可以在显示处理器328上执行应用程序以支持以下功能,比如而不限于:特性测量、指导和训练图表、远程诊断、温度校正、各种操作特性的控制、连接到各种网络、以及被测物体的显示。连同显示处理器328和液晶显示器(LCD)338(例如触摸屏LCD)用户接口一起,用户接口板202还包括几个接口选择,包括安全数字(SD)卡接口330、存储器332、USB主机接口334、诊断端口336、照相机端口340、音频/视频接口342、拨号/蜂窝调制解调器344和全球定位***(GPS)端口346。
图3示出的电子数据处理***210还包括带有用于记录环境数据的环境记录器362的基本电力板206。基本电力板206还使用AC/DC转换器358和电池充电器控制装置360为电子数据处理***210提供电力。基本电力板206使用内部集成电路(I2C)串行单端总线354并经由DMA串行外设接口(DSPI)356与基本处理器板204进行通信。基本电力板206经由在基本电力板206中实现的输入/输出(I/O)扩展功能364连接到倾斜传感器和射频识别(RFID)模块208。
虽然以分开的组件示出,在其它实施例中组件的全部或子集可物理上位于与图3所示的不同的位置,并且/或者功能以与图3所示的不同的方式组合。例如,在一个实施例中,基本处理器板204和用户接口板202组合到一个物理板内。
图4示出了根据一个实施例的AACMM***环境。在图4中图示的***包括与两个便携式AACMM 100、个人计算机402和智能电话404(例如经由WiFi或蓝牙与AACMM 100通信)通信的网络406。在图4中图示的***还包括与AACMM 100中的一个直接通信(即不经由网络)的个人计算机402。在图4中图示的***是AACMM***环境配置的一个示例,但不是要进行限制。另一个AACMM***环境示例包括一个网络406和与网络406通信的一个AACMM 100。在其它实施例中,任意数目的便携式AACMM 100和用户设备(例如个人计算机402和智能电话404)与网络406通信。
在一个实施例中,网络406的全部或部分由局域网(LAN)或无线局域网(WLAN)实现。在另一个实施例中,网络的全部或部分由使用蓝牙的个人区域网(PAN)实现。在又一个实施例中,网络406的全部或部分由以太网实现。应当理解,网络406可以由前述网络以及其它类型的有线和无线网络(比如但不限于互联网和内联网)的任意组合实现。
在一个实施例中,便携式AACMM 100和用户设备(例如个人计算机402和智能电话404)位于相同的地理位置。在另一个实施例中,便携式AACMM 100和用户设备位于两个或更多个不同的地理位置。应当理解,用户设备不限于个人计算机和蜂窝电话,而是包括能够与网络通信的任何设备,比如但不限于个人数字助理(PDA)和上网本计算机。
用户设备(例如个人计算机402和智能电话404)访问AACMM 100中的基本处理器板204上的处理器302,以请求AACMM 100执行用户选择的功能。因此,用户设备能够以与用户接口板202相似的方式被使用,从而与AACMM 100的基本处理器板204对接。根据用户设备如何与AACMM 100通信,位于用户接口板202和基本处理器板204上的全部、部分代码或没有代码驻留在用户设备上。一些应用程序也可以是是远程的(经由路由器访问AACMM 100)和并存在于不同网络中。
驻留在用户设备中的应用程序可用于执行用户接口板202的功能的全部或子集。在一个实施例中,针对特定用户设备编写的应用程序驻留在用户设备上,并且此应用程序从AACMM 100收集数据并在驻留在用户设备上的应用程序中使用所述数据。这种使应用程序针对特定用户设备编写的方法需要针对每个类型的用户设备(例如I-phone,Android,WindowsCE等)开发应用程序的定制版本。
在另一个实施例中,应用程序驻留在AACMM 100中,而用户经由类似网络的接口访问应用程序和数据。在这种情况下,AACMM 100经由在远程用户设备上的任意标准浏览器提供应用程序的网络服务版本。
响应于用户选择的功能请求,各种组件(例如编码器、传感器和电子器件)被激活并收集响应于请求的数据。响应于其它用户选择的功能请求,AACMM 100和/或与AACMM 100相关联的用户接口被配置。在一个实施例中,能够通过用户接口板202上的LCD 338启动或访问的任何用户选择的功能也能够通过经由网络406连接到AACMM 100的用户设备启动或访问。在另一个实施例中,特定用户选择的功能被指定为能够通过经由网络连接到AACMM 100的用户设备访问。在另一个实施例中,实施这两种方法的组合,其中一些用户选择的功能可由用户设备自动访问,其它用户选择的功能需要授权以与用户设备通信。
可由用户设备启动和由基本处理器板204上的处理器302执行的用户选择的功能包括但不限于:获取物体的尺寸测量、监视各种温度值、对AACMM 100的一个或多个组件进行校准、对AACMM 100的一个或多个组件进行诊断以及提供培训指导。
图5示出了根据一个实施例的主菜单用户界面屏幕。在一个实施例中,图5图示的用户界面屏幕显示在用户接口板202上的LCD 338上。在一个实施例中,用户接口板202包括驻留的应用程序(例如存储在存储器332中),所述应用程序由显示处理器328执行用于提供带有可选菜单选项的图形用户界面(GUI),所述可选菜单选项对应于由AACMM实现的可用功能。GUI可被实施为一组菜单选项,比如在图5中所示的这些菜单选项。在图5中,LCD 338的计算机屏幕窗口示出了各种菜单选项,比如“零件设置”(例如,用于指定零件元素比如平面、线、圆和圆柱体)、“测量”(例如,用于指定特性、长度、角度和位置)、“文件”(例如,用于定义新零件、加载宏和传送数据)、“设置”(例如,用于指定应用程序、网络连接、显示特征、声音元素、电力参数和语言)以及“诊断”。在一个实施例中,用户选择“设置”(例如,通过触摸LCD 338上的屏幕)以获得网络连接的状态或设置网络连接。
图6示出了当用户选择图5图示的主菜单用户界面屏幕上的“设置”时显示的根据一个实施例的设置菜单用户界面屏幕。在一个实施例中,用户选择“连接”以获得网络连接的状态或设置网络连接。
图7示出了当用户选择图6图示的设置菜单用户界面上的“连接”时显示的根据一个实施例的网络连接用户界面屏幕。图7图示的网络连接用户界面屏幕使得用户能够选择要打开或关闭的通信选项。如图7所示,蓝牙以及以太网被使能(打开)。还如图7所示,WiFi网络在AACMM上当前没有被使能(其被关闭)。在一个实施例中,用户通过选择网络图标来改变状态。例如,可以通过点击图7中示出的网络连接用户界面屏幕上的蓝牙图标来将蓝牙的状态从“使能”改变为“未使能”。
图8示出了根据一个实施例的用于WiFi网络的通信设置用户界面屏幕。在图8示出的用户界面屏幕中,WiFi网络已经被选择(如WiFi使能框旁边的复选标记所示)。用户界面屏幕为用户提供了设置WiFi连接的选项:将AACMM 100连接到以太网(例如LAN)、网络(例如互联网)和/或直接连接到个人计算机或膝上型计算机而不通过网络。如图8所示,可经由动态主机配置协议(DHCP)或经由静态互联网协议(IP)建立WiFi连接(并分配AACMM 100的地址)。WiFi连接建立的方式与安装有关,在此描述的AACMM 100的实施例支持DHCP和静态IP。
图9示出了当用户选择图8示出的通信设置用户界面屏幕上的静态IP连接时呈现给用户的配置静态IP用户界面屏幕。如在图9的实施例中所示,用户输入IP地址、子网掩码和网关,以建立到网络或以太网的静态IP WiFi连接。
图10示出了当用户选择图7示出的用户界面上的WiFi网络连接时根据一个实施例的接入点连接用户界面屏幕。当选择WiFi网络连接时,AACMM 100寻找无线路由器,然后如在如图10所示的用户界面屏幕上列出与所定位的路由器相关联的WiFi网络的名称。图10所示的用户界面屏幕还包括由与每个识别出的网络相邻的线的长度指示的信号强度。然后用户可以选择无线网络中的一个或多个,并且AACMM 100将自动连接到所选择的网络。在一个实施例中,AACMM 100一次只能够连接到一个路由器。在一个实施例中,蓝牙和以太网被认为是独立的网络,这两个通道同时打开。在一个实施例中,AACMM 100在网络上是从属设备,而网络路由器和其它设备是主设备。
在一个实施例中,在位于用户接口板202上的LCD 338上显示在图5-10中示出的用户界面屏幕。在另一个实施例中,在经由网络406与便携式AACMM 100通信的用户设备上显示在图5-10中示出的用户界面屏幕的全部或子集。在其它实施例中,所示出的用户界面屏幕的内容和布局与在图5-10中示出的不同,因为在图5-10中示出的用户界面屏幕是便携式AACMM 100可能连接到网络的一种方式的示例。
图11示出了根据一个实施例的用于为便携式AACMM 100配置网络连接的工作流程。在一个实施例中,图11图示的工作流程由位于AACMM100的基本处理板204上的处理器302执行。在一个实施例中,处理器302经由用户接口板202上的显示处理器328向LCD 338输出,以及接收来自LCD 338的输入。在步骤1102中,选择AACMM 100支持的一个或多个通信通道(例如USB、以太网、WiFi、蓝牙)。在步骤1104中,确定是否选择了USB连接。如果选择了USB连接,则执行步骤1106,并将USB线缆***AACMM 100和外部主机(计算机),这时外部主机列举ACCMM(发现和加载AACMM需要的计算机软件驱动)并且应用程序被执行。在一个实施例中,自动进行AACMM驱动的发现和加载。在图11图示的实施例中,在步骤1106后处理完成。在另一个实施例中,在步骤1106完成后,处理在步骤1108继续。
如果未选择USB通信通道,则执行步骤1108以建立支持的通信通道。配置与所选择的通信通道对应的外部网络。在一个实施例中,外部网络是LAN、WLAN或PAN之一。另外,在步骤1108配置通信通道所使用的任何计算机和/或***设备。在步骤1110,用户从如在图7中所示的用户界面屏幕中选择一个或多个通信通道。在步骤1112,AACMM被配置为利用所选择的通信通道进行通信。
技术效果和益处包括支持很多种通信技术,使得用户在一个或多个典型的通信选项上有限制的环境下使用本产品时具有最大的灵活性。作为示例,在一些工厂,蓝牙用于控制自动传送***,因此必须使用WiFi以避免干扰。在另一示例中,Wi-Fi范围太大因此蓝牙更可取。在另一示例中,由于零件的机密性质使得无线方法不可接受,因此需要有线以太网。在对网络访问有网络限制的工厂中,需要USB。在此描述的所有这些选项都在示例性实施例中得到支持。

Claims (23)
1.一种便携式关节臂坐标测量机(AACMM),包括:
可手动定位的关节臂部件,具有相对的第一端和第二端,所述关节臂部件包括多个连接的臂分段,每个臂分段包括至少一个用于产生位置信号的位置变换器;
测量装置,附接到所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机的第一端;
多个通信通道;
电子电路,用于接收来自所述变换器的位置信号,并提供与所述测量装置的位置对应的数据;以及
可由所述电子电路执行的逻辑,用于接收来自用户的经由所述多个通信通道中所选择的一个通信通道进行通信的请求,并将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所选择的通信通道进行通信。
2.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述逻辑进一步用于接收经由所述多个通信通道中的另一个通信通道进行通信的第二请求,并将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所述多个通信通道中的所述另一个通信通道进行通信,以提供多个可同时操作的通信通道。
3.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述多个通信通道包括通用串行总线(USB)。
4.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述多个通信通道包括无线网络。
5.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述多个通信通道包括以太网。
6.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述多个通信通道包括蓝牙。
7.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述多个通信通道包括通用串行总线、无线网络、以太网和蓝牙。
8.如权利要求1所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述逻辑进一步用于接收来自附接到所选择的通信通道上的远程装置的用以执行功能的请求,并响应于接收到用以执行所述功能的所述请求而执行所述功能。
9.如权利要求8所述的便携式关节臂坐标测量机,其中所述逻辑进一步用于将执行所述功能的结果传送到所述远程装置。
10.一种实施便携式关节臂坐标测量机(AACMM)的方法,所述方法包括:
接收来自用户的经由所选择的通信通道进行通信的请求,所述接收在所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机处进行,所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机包括:可手动定位的关节臂部件,具有相反的第一端和第二端,所述臂部件包括多个连接的臂分段,每个臂分段包括至少一个用于产生位置信号的位置变换器;测量装置,附接到所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机的第一端;多个通信通道,包括所选择的通信通道;以及电子电路,其接收来自所述变换器的位置信号,并提供与所述测量装置的位置对应的数据;以及
将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所选择的通信通道进行通信。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,进一步包括:
接收经由所述多个通信通道中的另一个通信通道进行通信的第二请求;以及
将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所述多个通信通道中的所述另一个通信通道进行通信,以提供多个可同时操作的通信通道。
12.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述多个通信通道包括通用串行总线(USB)。
13.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述多个通信通道包括无线网络。
14.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述多个通信通道包括以太网。
15.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述多个通信通道包括蓝牙。
16.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述多个通信通道包括通用串行总线、无线网络、以太网和蓝牙。
17.如权利要求10所述的方法,进一步包括:
接收来自附接到所选择的通信通道上的远程装置的用以执行功能的请求;以及
响应于用以执行所述功能的所述请求而执行所述功能。
18.如权利要求17所述的方法,进一步包括将执行所述功能的结果传送到所述远程装置。
19.一种计算机程序产品,用于实施便携式关节臂坐标测量机(AACMM),所述计算机程序产品包括其上包含计算机可读程序代码的存储媒介,所述程序代码当由位于所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机上的电子电路执行时,使计算机实施一种方法,所述方法包括:
接收来自用户的经由所选择的通信通道进行通信的请求,所述接收在所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机处进行,所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机包括:可手动定位的关节臂部件,具有相反的第一端和第二端,所述臂部件包括多个连接的臂分段,每个臂分段包括至少一个用于产生位置信号的位置变换器;测量装置,附接到所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机的第一端;多个通信通道,包括所选择的通信通道;以及电子电路,其接收来自所述变换器器的位置信号,并提供与所述测量装置的位置对应的数据;以及
将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所选择的通信通道进行通信。
20.如权利要求19所述的计算机程序产品,其中所述方法进一步包括:
接收经由所述多个通信通道中的另一个通信通道进行通信的第二请求;以及
将所述便携式关节臂坐标测量机配置为经由所述多个通信通道中的所述另一个通信通道进行通信,以提供多个可同时操作的通信通道。
21.如权利要求19所述的计算机程序产品,其中所述多个通信通道包括通用串行总线、无线网络、以太网和蓝牙。
22.如权利要求19所述的计算机程序产品,其中所述方法进一步包括:
接收来自附接到所选择的通信通道上的远程装置的用以执行功能的请求;以及
响应于用以执行所述功能的所述请求而执行所述功能。
23.如权利要求22所述的计算机程序产品,其中所述方法进一步包括将执行所述功能的结果传送到所述远程装置。
