Abstract

Le nettoyage de véhicules automobiles, notamment d'autobus, de camionnettes et de trains routiers, que le chauffeur fait avancer dans le dispositif de lavage, s'effectue au moyen de deux brosses de lavage (40, 140) alimentées en eau, qui sont guidées dans des longerons transversaux (30) passant au-dessus de la voie de lavage, en diagonale par rapport au sens de la marche des véhicules automobiles. Dans leur position initiale, les brosses de lavage sont placées d'un côté de la voie de lavage. Une des brosses de lavage est décalée par rapport à l'autre. La brosse de lavage sur laquelle la surface frontale du véhicule est appliquée peut se déplacer sous l'effet du mouvement du véhicule sur la glissière diagonale, et passer d'un côté de la voie de lavage à l'autre, tout en lavant simultanément la surface du véhicule qui avance. Les deux brosses de lavage (40, 140) reviennent en position initiale au moyen d'un dispositif de mouvement qui agit sur la brosse de lavage (40) indépendamment du véhicule.
