Abstract
De acuerdo a la primera modalidad de la presente invención, un óxido de un compuesto de hidrocarburo se puede producir con alto rendimiento y alta productividad oxidando el compuesto de hidrocarburo con el oxígeno molecular en la co-presencia de un compuesto N-hidroxi, como metil etil cetona o N-hidroxisuccinimida y un éster de fosfato, como fosfato de dibutilo; de acuerdo con otra modalidad de la presente invención, un óxido de un compuesto de hidrocarburo se puede producir con alto rendimiento utilizando un catalizador de oxidación que comprende un compuesto oxima, como metil etil cetona; según otra modalidad de la presente invención, un alcohol y/o una cetona puede producir con alto rendimiento oxidando el compuesto de hidrocarburo a una temperatura de 160°C o menos y descomponiendo el hidroperóxido resultante, por ejemplo, en una unidad que tiene una superficie interna formada por un material del cual no se genera un ion de metal de transición.
