Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は健康増進剤に関する。
水道水はその残留塩素によって微酸性を呈するが、近年
食生活の向上により食肉等のいわゆる酸性食品の摂取量
が増加し、その弊害が指摘されている。一方、特に幼児
や児童は著しい体格向上にも拘らず、カルシウム分の不
足等によって虫歯が増加し、骨折し易い脆弱な体質者が
多いことが懸念されている。
この発明は上記の事情に鑑みてなされたもので、造礁サ
ンゴの生骨格及び半化石群を破砕して得られるコラール
サンドが炭酸カルシウムを主成分として人体に必要な種
々の無機ミネラル質を生態学的化学組成において含有す
るという知見に基づくものである。
すなわち、この発明はコラールサンドを有効成分とする
ことを特徴とするものである。
造礁サンゴの生骨格や半化石群から得られるコラールサ
ンドは、表−１に示す如（、炭酸カルシウム（Ｃ−ＣＯ
ｓ、約９５％）を主成分として重要な生体成分であるマ
グネシウム、ストロンチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、
リン、塩素をはじめ微量の鉄、銅、亜鉛、マンガン、コ
ノ（ルト、クロム、ホウ素等の必須無機ビタミン元素中 を含有している。これらの元素は腔腸動物ある造礁サン
ゴの生命活動によって蓄積風化されたものである。従っ
て、化学的処理によって得られる炭酸カルシウム等の食
品添加物とは異なり、生態学的化学組成を有しており、
人体に安全で良質なミネラルの補給源となる。
表−１ 各釉コラールサンドＡ、Ｃ，Ｇ、　　４２口について、
■大阪化学分析センターに依頼して得られた分析結果で
ある。
次に、この発明による健康増進剤の製造方法について説
明すれば、先ず天然に荀られるコラールサンドを洗滌し
て塩分を除去した後、８０〜１５０℃で熱消毒及び乾燥
し、常温で１５０〜５００メツシーに粉砕するが、粉砕
は窒素雰囲気中−１８０〜−２００℃で凍結乾燥して行
うこともでき、また海水もしくは泉水と練成状でも可能
である。
このようにして得られる微粉末状のコラールサンドは、
極めて細孔性で可溶性が高く、そのま〜水に溶かして飲
用することもできるが、微粉末をデンプン、ゼラチン等
のバインダと共に、或いはバインダを使わずに成型し錠
剤として飲用することもできる。また、製錠に際し、種
々のビタミンや糖分等の栄養剤を添加して強化すること
もできる。更に、上記の粉末を種々の食品に対する添加
物として使用することもできる。
この発明による健康増進剤は、上記の如く生体成分であ
るマグネシム、ストロンチウム、カリウム、リン、銅等
をはじめとして、微量の鉄、マンガン、カリウム等の必
須無機ビタミン元素を補給することができるが、これを
水道水等に溶かして飲用することにより、いわゆるカル
キ臭のない徽アルカリ性のおいしいミネラルウオークと
することができる。つまり、この発明による健康増進剤
は、例えば成人１日あたり１０〜１０ｇを服用すればよ
り効果的である。
すなわち、炭酸カルンウムを主成分とするコラールサン
ドの働きにより、水道水を塩素殺菌する過程で遊離する
酸（Ｈ２Ｏ”）は、次式（１）〜（５）に示すように中
和され、カル／ラムイオン（ｃａ２つの存在によって微
アルカリ性となる。

は、以上説明したように、炭酸カルシウムを主成分とし
人体に必要な種々の無機物を生態学的組成で含有するコ
ラールサンドを有効成分とするものであるから、酸性食
品に傾きやすい食生活を改善し、特に幼児や児童に不足
しがちなカルシウム分を自然に補給すると共にいわゆる
無機ビタミン元素を同時に摂取すること瓦なり、健康増
進に資することができる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １）有効成分としてコラールサンドを含有することを特
    徴とする健康増進剤。 ２）コラールサンドが１５０〜５００メツシーの粗状態
    であることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載の健
    康増進剤。 ３）１５０〜５００メツシユのコラールサンドをバイン
    ダの存在又は不存在下で成型し錠剤としたことを特徴と
    する特許請求の範囲第１項又は第２項記載の健康増進剤
    。
