Abstract
【解決手段】基材12上に、光照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体であって、特定式で表される化合物が1つの金属に配位してなるキレート化合物と、特定式で表される陽イオンとの塩形成による色素化合物を含有する。

Description
本発明の光記録材料は、光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体に用いられる光記録材料であって、1つ又2つの上記化合物(1)が1つの金属に配位してなるキレート化合物と、上記イオン(2)との塩形成により得られる色素化合物(以下、「塩形成色素」という。)を含有するものである。
スルホン酸エステル基としては、総炭素数1〜10のものが好ましく、メトキシスルホニル、エトキシスルホニル、プロポキシスルホニル、ブトキシスルホニル等が挙げられる。
図1は本発明の光記録媒体に係る光記録ディスクの好適な一実施形態を示す部分断面図である。図1に示した光記録ディスク1は、DVD規格に対応した追記型光記録コンパクトディスクであり、635〜680nmの短波長の光による記録・再生が可能なものである。
一側にプリグルーブ(深さ180nm、幅0.30μm、グルーブピッチ0.74μm)を有する直径120mm、厚さ0.6mmのポリカーボネート樹脂基板を準備した。一方、下記式(73)で表される塩形成色素1を、その含有量が1.0質量%となるように、2,2,3,3−テトラフルオロプロパノールに加えて記録層用塗布液を調製した。
実施例3〜13、比較例1〜3においては、それぞれ塩形成色素1の代わりに表1に表される色素組成3〜13を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、光記録ディスクを作製した。表1中、かっこ内の数字は上述及び下述する化学構造式の符号を示す。
次に、実施例1〜13及び比較例1〜3の各光記録ディスクに対し、波長655nmのレーザー光を用いて線速3.5m/秒又は28.0m/秒で信号を記録した。次いで、波長655nmのレーザー光を用いて線速3.5m/秒で再生した。なお、レンズ孔径NAは0.60であった。このときの特性を、反射率(Rtop)、変調度(Mod.)、ジッター(Jitter)、及び最適記録パワー(P0)に基づき評価した。線速3.5m/秒、線速28.0m/秒で記録したときの結果を表2にそれぞれ示す。
実施例1〜13の各光記録ディスクの耐光性を評価した。具体的には、8万ルックスのキセノンランプ(島津社製キセノンフェードメーター)を40時間照射した後のディスクのジッターを測定した。その結果、実施例1〜13のいずれの光記録ディスクにおいてもジッターの変化は全く認められなかった。
実施例1〜13の各光記録ディスクについて、80℃、80%RHの条件下、100時間の信頼性試験を行った。その結果、実施例1〜13の光記録ディスクのいずれにおいても特性の劣化が認められなかった。
Claims (10)
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体に用いられる光記録材料であって、
1つ又2つの下記一般式(1)で表される化合物が1つの金属に配位してなるキレート化合物と、下記一般式(2)で表される陽イオンと、の塩形成により得られる色素化合物を含有することを特徴とする光記録材料。
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体に用いられる光記録材料であって、
1つ又は2つの下記一般式(1)で表される化合物が1つの金属に配位してなるキレート化合物と、下記一般式(2)で表される陽イオンと、を含有することを特徴とする光記録材料。
- 前記金属が、バナジウム、コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群より選ばれる1つの金属であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光記録材料。
- シアニン色素化合物を更に含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の光記録材料。
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体であって、
1つ又は2つの下記一般式(1)で表される化合物が1つの金属に配位してなるキレートと、下記一般式(2)で表される陽イオンと、の塩形成により得られる色素化合物を含有する記録層を備えることを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体であって、
1つ又は2つの下記一般式(1)で表される化合物が1つの金属に配位してなるキレート化合物と、下記一般式(2)で表される陽イオンと、を含有する記録層を備えることを特徴とする光記録媒体。
- 前記金属が、バナジウム、コバルト、ニッケル及び銅からなる群より選ばれる1つの金属であることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の光記録媒体。
- 前記記録層中において、前記一般式(2)で表される陽イオンが、モル基準で、前記キレート化合物よりも多く含有されることを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか一項に記載の光記録媒体。
- 前記記録層が、シアニン色素化合物を更に含有することを特徴とする請求項5〜8のいずれか一項に記載の光記録媒体。
