Abstract

382,227. Rotary compressors. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. April 29, 1932, No. 12313. Convention date, May 15, 1931. [Class 110 (ii).] The compressor of a refrigerating machine is wholly enclosed within and driven by the rotor of an electric motor. In the machine shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the compressor comprises an eccentric rigid with fixed hollow axes forming an inlet passage k and an outlet passage m, and an outer casing e carried by the motor rotor. The eccentric has a spring-pressed vane i. The. compressed gas and lubricant are discharged into the motor casing a, the gas being led away to the condenser through an opening at the top of the upper axis, while lubricant collected at the bottom of the casing is drawn into the compressor through a small opening s in the gas inlet pipe.
