Definitions
- the invention relates to a tubular heater with built-in Overheating protection, especially in home appliances is used and the heating coil of an electric surrounded by insulating bulk material.
- EP 0 370 941 B1 is a tubular heater with built-in Overheating fuse described, the connection element off an inner - i. in the direction of most of the tubular heater attached - and from an outer terminal bolt consists.
- the inner connecting bolt at its inner End of a heating coil is fixed, penetrates an implementing ceramic, the, on an inner bulge of a Casing supported, an electrically insulating bulk material withholds in the heating coil area.
- the inner connecting bolt is at the outer end with an axial bore provided, wherein a first axial approach of the overheating fuse is plugged, which is otherwise the bead-like clinging to the outer end of this connecting bolt.
- the overheat protection with the outer terminal bolt electrically connected by an axial hole a sealing bushing from the jacket tube exit and at this end with an electric Terminal is provided.
- the actual overheating protection is made of an electrically insulating sheath Surrounded plastic.
- the wall of the shell can be the inner Touch wall of the jacket tube, but at both ends is the Shell completed by plastic bushings that the Surrounded end pieces of the connecting bolt.
- On the outer side the shell are in addition to the implementation of a heat-insulating Cover and arranged a ceramic bushing.
- EP 0 086 465 B1 is an installation of an overheating fuse shown in which one of a metal shell closely Touched heating coil to a conical inner end of a inner connecting bolt pulled and attached to it.
- This case is made by both electrically insulating, the Schuetzl surrounding bulk material as well as by a Isolier withdrawment, through which the shell of the jacket tube protrudes, kept at a distance from the jacket tube of the tubular heater.
- a replaceable overheat fuse inserted into an insulated lead wire connected, which runs through the shell and into the open exit.
- the invention is based on the object, a tubular heater continue to develop its overheating protection with an inner and an outer terminal bolt is attached and of a tubular casing of the tubular heater by a the Overheating protection surrounding and electrically insulating Cover is electrically separated, so that the tubular heater Easy to produce and improved thermal Coupling has its overheating protection.
- a tubular heater with a built-in overheating protection solved in which in a jacket tube and almost coaxial with him one of an electrically insulating bulk material surrounded heating coil is arranged, the tail to a first end of an inner connecting bolt is connected, in a closely matched axial passage opening a first bushing inserted by the Connection side closely matched inserted into the jacket tube is and in the axial direction of a ring bulge of the Casing tube is applied.
- Axial approaches to overheating protection are in an axial hole at a second end of the inner connecting bolt or in an axial hole on one used first end of the outer terminal bolt and pressed. Its second end penetrates a final bushing at the end of the jacket pipe.
- the outer terminal bolt is an electrical terminal connected to the tubular heater.
- the tubular heater according to the invention is characterized in that the Diameter of the outer connecting bolt smaller than the Diameter of the overheating fuse is and that one electrically insulating shell closely the wall of overheating protection and partly also the outer connecting bolt surrounds and that the jacket tube interior between the first grommet and the end grommet as well as the overheating protection, the outer connecting bolt and the electrically insulating sheath with an electrical is filled in insulating potting compound.
- tubular heater according to the invention is characterized in that the electrically insulating sheath made of teflon and as electrically insulating Potting compound Araldite, preferably mixed with corundum dust, is used.
- An advantage of the tubular heater according to the invention consists Furthermore, in the easily achievable and reliable electrical Insulation of the overheating fuse from the jacket pipe of the tubular heater.
- the tubular heater according to the invention is in the drawing shown.
- a heating coil 2 is arranged in a jacket tube 1 is almost coaxial with it a heating coil 2 is arranged. It is of electrically insulating Surrounded by loose material.
- Each end of the heating coil 2 is at a first end of a corresponding inner connecting bolt 4 attached.
- the terminal bolt 4 is tight adapted in an axial passage opening of a first, e.g. ceramic bushing 5, inserted by the Connection side inserted into the casing tube 1 closely matched is until it in the axial direction of a ring bulge. 6 of the jacket tube 1 is applied.
- the overheating fuse 7 is on both sides with axial Lugs 71, 72 provided. They will each be in his axial Bore at a second end of the inner connecting bolt 4th or at a first end of an outer connecting bolt 8 plugged in and pressed.
- an electrical terminal 10 of the tubular heater is connected.
- the final bushing 9 is made e.g. made of a heat-resistant plastic.
- An electrically insulating, preferably made of Teflon Case 11 is pushed to the overheating fuse 7, so that she encloses her wall tightly. It's because of that No additional bushings for fixing the insulation necessary. A part of the insulating 11 is still enough over the outer connecting bolt 8.
- the case inside the Jacket tube 1 free space between the first Bushing 5 and the final bushing 9 and to the overheating fuse 7, the outer terminal bolt. 8 and the electrically insulating sheath 11 is provided with a filled electrically insulating potting compound 12.
- the Potting compound 12 also ensures mechanical strength and can consist of Araldite.
- Advantageous is the Araldite potting compound 12 corundum dust mixed, reducing their thermal conductivity is increased. As a result, the overheating protection decreases 7 better the temperature conditions on the jacket tube 1 of the tubular heater true.
- the production of the tubular heater according to the invention runs follows.
- the inner connecting bolt 4, the overheating fuse 7 and the outer terminal bolt 8 become an electrical connection assembly merged.
- the first bushing 5 attached, then the heating coil 2 by spot welding welded.
- the jacket tube 1 the bulk material is the third poured and then the electrical connection group inserted into the jacket tube 1.
- the tubular heater is then bent and the free space from the bushing 5 to to the mouth of the jacket tube 1 is with the sealing compound 12th shed.
- the electrically insulating Case 11 is pushed onto the overheating fuse 7. At the Penetration of the shell 11 in the already with sealing compound 12th filled interior, the shell 11 fills with this.
- the overheating fuse 7 is in the inventive Tubular radiator installed so that it is a possible increase in temperature of the jacket tube 1 over a permissible value can perceive.
