Definitions
- the invention relates to a stair nosing profile, consisting of a step angle profile with a step leg, the free end of which is designed as a cover for a stair covering, a stop leg arranged essentially at right angles thereon, and a base profile which can be fixed on the stairs.
- a stair nosing profile which consists of a step angle and a base profile.
- the base profile is L-shaped around the edge of the stairs and is attached to the stairs with a nail.
- the base profile has a bevel, which serves as a stop contact surface for the step angle.
- the outside of the base profile and the inside of the step angle fit together positively.
- the step angle is made of plastic and has air chambers to improve the damping properties.
- cover wings are formed at both ends, which press the stair covering against the base profile after the step angle has been placed on the base profile. The application is limited to carpets that are compressed and clamped between the cover sash and the base profile.
- a disadvantage of this construction is that the application is limited to stair coverings with a very specific material thickness. When laying carpets with a greater material thickness or when using laminate or parquet floors, a different step angle would have to be used for each material thickness.
- the object of the invention is to develop a stair nosing profile of the type mentioned in such a way that the stair nosing profile can be used for stair coverings with different material thicknesses.
- step angle profile can be fixed on the base profile via a height-adjustable holder, so that the cover wing comes to rest on the stair covering.
- the stair nosing profile and the base profile are advantageously detachably connected to one another via the height-adjustable holder.
- the step angle profile can already be put on to mark the position of the base profile.
- the step angle profile must be able to be removed again, since a rigid stair covering cannot be threaded under the cover wing, particularly in the case of spiral staircases.
- the step angle profile prefferably has two guide support surfaces which run parallel at a distance and which are arranged on the base profile with correspondingly assigned surfaces Interacting counter surfaces.
- the interaction of the guide support surfaces with the counter surfaces on the base profile ensures that the step angle profile can be moved vertically. Even the moment when you step on the stair nosing profile is transferred to the base profile by the clever arrangement of the guide support surfaces and the cone surfaces.
- a web which is essentially directed towards the step, is arranged on the tread leg, on the side facing the stair edge, the first guide support surface is formed, and that, at a corresponding point on the base profile, a corresponding web faces the first guide support surface Has counter surface.
- the second guide support surface is formed on the stop leg and the associated counter surface on an essentially forward end edge of the base profile.
- An advantageous alternative provides that the second guide support surface on the stop leg and the associated counter surface is formed on a second web arranged at a corresponding location on the base profile.
- the webs are arranged on the base profile and the inner sides of the webs are designed such that they form a threaded drive channel.
- countersunk holes for receiving driving screws are also advantageously formed on the tread leg.
- the distance between the step angle profile and the base profile is set so that the cover wing comes to rest on the stair covering.
- the interacting surfaces are designed as grid surfaces.
- the height-adjustable holder is designed as at least one grid web with projections (left and right sides) on the underside of the step leg, the projections being able to be snapped into corresponding depressions on the inside of the webs.
- This grid design means that the step angle profile and base profile can be easily assembled and disassembled.
- the left-hand projections to the right-hand projections of the at least one grid web or the left-hand depressions to the right-hand depressions of the webs are offset from one another by a predetermined distance.
- the grid webs are advantageously designed to be resilient around the connection point to the tread leg.
- Boreholes are advantageously provided on the stair for setting the basic profile on the stairs.
- the outside of the tread leg with grooves running in the longitudinal direction of the profile and to form grooves on the tread leg transition and / or grooves on the cover wing.
- the base profile can be securely fixed on the stairs and the stair covering rests on the base profile without displacement, it is favorable that the horizontal section of the base profile has a profile on its top and bottom.
- stair nosing profile is used for the minimum possible material thickness, a shoulder is formed on the inside of the stop leg, which limits the lowest position of the step angle profile.
- This stair covering thickness is advantageous for stair edges with extremely high loads, since the step angle profile can be supported by the stop on the base profile in the stop position.
- Fig. 1 shows a side view of a step angle profile 1 as it is used in the step edge profile according to the invention.
- the step angle profile 1 consists of a step leg 2 and a stop leg 3 arranged essentially perpendicularly thereto.
- a step 10 is formed on the step leg 2 essentially parallel to the stop leg 3 at a predetermined distance
- Stop leg 3 facing side forms a first guide support surface 7.
- the tread leg 2 extends beyond the web 10 and forms a cover wing 5 in this area.
- the cover wing 5 tapers slightly towards the free end and is rounded at this end. In its position, the cover wing 5 is slightly inclined towards the top of the stairs.
- countersunk holes 15 are formed in the step leg 2 in the area between the web 10 and the stop leg, into which drive screws 16 are inserted during assembly.
- the outside of the stop leg 3 is designed as a bevel, which merges downwards into a radial curvature.
- the inside of the stop leg 3 has a first shoulder 30, seen from below, after which the inside merges into a guide support surface 6, which cooperates with the end face of a base plate of the base profile 4.
- a special thickening can also be formed on the base profile for such an end face.
- a stop 20 is formed on the inside of the stop leg 3, which defines the smallest parquet thickness when the step angle profile 1 is slipped onto the base profile 4.
- Fig. 2 shows a side view of the base profile 4, which like with a step angle profile.
- Fig. 1 interacts.
- the base profile 4 has a substantially horizontal Base plate on the end face of which a counter surface 8 is formed, which cooperates with the guide support surface 6 on the inside of the stop leg 3.
- two webs 11, 13 are arranged, which are profiled on the inner sides so that they form a threaded drive channel 14 for screwing in the drive screws 16.
- the cone surface 9 is formed, which cooperates with the guide support surface 7 on the inside of the web 10 of the step angle profile 1.
- Drilled holes 17 are provided in the base plate of the base profile 4, via which the base profile 4 is fastened to the stairs.
- the base plate of the base profile 4 is provided on both sides with a profiling 19 in order to be able to fix the base profile 4 in a non-displaceable manner on the stairs and the stair covering 12 in a non-displaceable manner on the base profile.
- Fig. 3 shows the step angle profile 1 and the base profile 4 in the assembled state.
- the base profile 4 is fixed by screws 33 on a step 31.
- the base profile 4 was arranged in this embodiment so that a vertical riser 32 can be attached to the front of the step.

Abstract
Description

Fig. 1 zusammenwirkt.
Fig. 1 und das Basisprofil 4 gem. Fig. 2 im montierten Zustand.
Fig 6 entsprechenden Basisprofiles 4 dargestellt.
