Definitions

  • the invention relates to a swivel chair, with an upper frame with a seat and a backrest, with a base frame and with a support column, the upper frame being rotatable on the base frame and the seat surface being provided on its periphery with a recess for receiving the support column of a next, stacked swivel chair is.
  • Such a swivel chair is known from DE-OS 24 18 125, in which, however, the upper frame also represents the seat surface which can be rotated directly on the base frame.
  • the support column runs centrally vertically between this upper / lower frame combination and the floor supports underneath.
  • This chair has an ergonomic design of the backrest and can only be stacked to a limited extent to inclined, relatively small stacks because of its star-shaped floor supports and the central vertical support column.
  • DE-PS 812 705 shows a chair in which the seat is rotatably arranged on a base. This chair is rotatable, but not stackable, because the base does not fit over the seat and the backrest. From DE-PS 728 006 a chair is known in which only the seat is rotatably arranged on the base frame, but which also cannot be stacked. A disadvantage of these chairs is that they are relatively large, individual Need floor space when not in use or in safekeeping.
  • a chair which consists of a support frame with a seat and a backrest, the support frame consists of a single, central tube, which is connected to an angularly spread foot part.
  • the base supporting the seat is angled inward from the vertical projection, so that the upper part of this chair can spring.
  • this chair cannot be rotated and, due to the single-tube construction, it cannot be stacked to form stable stacks, without it resulting in very unstable, slightly overturning stacks.
  • a chair in which a resilient base supports a seat and a backrest connected to the seat.
  • the seat and backrest are divided lengthways.
  • Such a chair can be stacked, but cannot be swiveled, so that after a certain period of time when it is used, fatigue and a loss of the user's ability to concentrate occur.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a swivel chair of the type described at the outset, which can be stacked in almost unlimited height into straight stacks.
  • the support column starting from the base frame, runs obliquely upward radially inward within the region of the vertical projection of the upper frame, and a console is arranged at its upper end for receiving a swivel fitting carrying the seat surface and the backrest is provided with a backrest gap corresponding to the recess in the seat surface.
  • the base frame is a ring concentrically surrounding the vertical projection of the top frame and the support column is guided essentially horizontally from the area of the top frame and vertically into the area of the base frame.
  • a swivel chair is created in which the support column, which hinders stackability, is guided out of the area of the seat surface, so that the chairs can be stacked one above the other to form essentially vertical stacks.
  • the support columns of the next following chairs are guided in the backrest and seat slits of the respective lower chair, the height of the base frames being compensated for by the angle of inclination of the support columns.
  • the swivel chair shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of an upper frame 10 with a seat 11, which is assigned a backrest 12 and armrests 13 are.
  • the seat 11 is held by a support column 14 which is connected to an underframe 15.
  • the support column 14 extends at an inclination angle 29 out of the vertical projection 27 of the upper frame 10.
  • the vertical projection 27 of the upper frame 10 is smaller than the inner diameter 25 of the lower frame 15.
  • the support column 14 is connected in one piece to a bracket 17 at its upper free end.
  • the console 17 is circular, and a vertically standing pivot pin 18 runs in the center thereof.
  • the pivot pin 18 is connected to the seat 11.
  • the pivot pin 18 is provided with a pivot bearing 19 designed as an axial bearing.
  • the seat 11 rests on a rotating fitting 16 which is connected to a backrest frame 21 and 21a.
  • the rotary fitting 16 is rotatably mounted on the console 17 with a seat pivot bearing 20.
  • the backrest 12 is held by the two-part backrest frame 21 and 21a.
  • the backrest frame 21, 21a consists of a tube which, as shown in FIG. 2, also serves to hold the rotating fitting 16 and, under the formation of the armrests 13, is passed under the seat surface 11 and here with this and the rotating fitting 16 is connected.
  • the backrest frames 21 and 21a form between them a backrest gap 22, the width of which is somewhat larger than the diameter of the support column 14.
  • the support column 14 extends from the base frame 15 at an incline 29 upwards so that, as shown in FIG. 3, it can be guided through the backrest gap 22 of the swivel chair underneath when forming stacks 31.
  • the angle of inclination 29 is designed such that the height 30 of the base frame 15 can be compensated for and vertical stacks 31 of swivel chairs stacked one above the other are created.
  • the swivel chairs can also be designed as a stool 28, the vertical projections 27 of the seat surfaces 11 being smaller than the inside diameter 25 of the base frames 15.
  • the base frame 15 is designed as a closed ring, the inside diameter 25 of which, as shown in FIG. 4, is larger than the vertical projection of the top frame 10.
  • the support column 14 is preferably integrally connected radially on the inside to the base frame 15. As FIGS. 5 and 6 show, the upper frame 10 and the lower frame form 15 as a rotating body a truncated cone 26, the outer surface of which is determined by the support column 15.
  • the seat 11 is provided on the side opposite the backrest 21 with a recess 24a through which the support column 14 can be guided when stacked one above the other.
  • the base frame 15 can be provided with rollers 23, and the support column 14 can also have a height adjustment 33.
  • the bracket 17, which is connected in one piece to the support column 14, is guided essentially horizontally out of the vertical projection 27 of the upper frame 10.
  • the support column 14 extends essentially vertically and is connected to the inner circumference 32 of the base frame 15, which is designed as a closed ring. Instead of a closed ring, an open ring frame (not shown) can also be provided.
  • the support column 14 can be resilient and / or be provided with a height adjustment 33.
