Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski brake according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a ski brake of this type is described, for example, in DE-OS 31 36 079.
  • sections of two angled wire bracket parts are guided in a guide of the operating pedal.
  • the facing end sections of the wire brake arms meet a connecting spring, which is also arranged in the operating pedal.
  • the pivoting in of the two brake arms is brought about in that when the actuation pedal is depressed, a contact body fastened to the base plate acts on the connecting spring in the longitudinal direction of the ski, as a result of which the braking device stretches.
  • the aim of the invention is to further develop a ski brake of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the braking device has an increased swiveling capacity and can therefore be used effectively in conjunction with a swivel plate or a touring plate. Furthermore, the ski brake should be stable in every position.

  • the connecting spring rest on the front boundary wall of an opening in the actuation pedal, the pivotable parts of the ski brake are given additional stability.
  • This stability is further increased by the fact that two set-up springs are used which hold the connecting spring in position on the base plate. This also has the advantage of simple assembly of the braking device.
  • DE-OS 25 54 110 and AT-PS 374.114 show ski brakes with one-piece brake arms bent from spring wire, so they are further away from the subject of the invention.
