Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf disperse Monoazofarbstoffe,
die zum' Färben von synthetischen Textilinaterialien verwendet werden können.
Gemäß der Erfindung werden disperse Monoazofarbstoffe vorgeschlagen»
die frei von Sxxlfon- und Carbonsäuregruppen sind,

In der gesamten Beschreibung bedeuten die Ausdrüclce "ITiedriir-

Beispiele für ITiedrigalkylradikale, die durch X und Z dargestellt
werden, sind Methyl, Äthyl, n-?ropyl und n-2utyi.
Beispiele für substituierte Phenylradikale, die durch Y
und Z dargestellt werden, sind Tolyl, Anisyl, Chlorophenyl,
Bromcphenyl, Kitrotolyl und Nitrophenyl. Beispiele für
!Tiedrigalkoxycarbonylradikale, die durch Z und ¥ dargestellt
werden, sind Hethoxycarbonyl, Athoxycarbonyl und n-3utyloxycarbonyl.
Seispiele für substituierte Niedrigalkcxycarconylradikale,
die durch Z dargestellt werden, sind Hydrcxy-niedrigalkcxycarbonyl, wie z.B. ß-Hydroxyäthoxycarbcnyl,
liiedrigalkoxy-niedrigalkoxycarbonyl, wie z.B.
fi-(Xethcxy— oder XthoxyOäthoxycarbonyl, Gyano-niedrigalkoxycarbonyl,
wie z.B. ß-Cyanoäthoxycarbonyl^und Chloro-niedrigalkoxycarbonyl,
wie z.B. ß-Chlorcäthoxycarbonyl.

Die gegebenenfalls substituierten Alkylradikale, die durch V

substituierte Hiedrigalkylradikale. Spezielle 'Beispiele für~
solche Radikale sind Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl undEutj'l, Hydrcxyniedrigalkyl,
wie z.B. ß-Hydroxyäthyl, LTiedrigalkoxy-niedrigalkyl,
"wie z.B. Methoxymethyl, und Niedrigalkoxycarbonyl-'niedrigalkyl,
wie z.B. Methoxycarbonylmethyl. Die gegebenenfalls
substituierten Alkoxyradikale, die durch V und ¥ dargestellt werden, sind vorzugsweise gegebenenfalls substituierte
ITiedrigalkoxyradikale, Beispiele für solche Radikale sind
Methoxy.und Äthoxy, Hydroxy-niedrlgalkoxy, wie z.B. ß-Hvdroxv-

Athoxycarbonylinethylthio. Beispiele für ITiedrigalkylcarbonyl- und ITiedrigalkylsulfonylradikale, die durch ¥ dargestellt werden, sind Acetyl, Propionyl, Hethy1-sulfonyl und Äthylsulfonyl. Beispiele für Niedrigalkylcarb-
äthoxy,, Niedrigalkoxycarbonyl-niedrigalkoxy, wie z.3. Athcxycarbonylmethoxy. Beispiele für gegebenenfalls substituierte ITiedrigalkylthioradikale, die durch "W dargestellt werden, sind Methylthio, Äthylthio und ITiedrigalkoxycarbonyl-niedrigalkylthio, wie z.B. Athoxycarbonylinethylthio. Beispiele für ITiedrigalkylcarbonyl- und ITiedrigalkylsulfonylradikale, die durch ¥ dargestellt werden, sind Acetyl, Propionyl, Hethy1-sulfonyl und Äthylsulfonyl. Gemäß der Erfindung wird weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Herstellung
der oben definierten Azofarbstoffe vorgeschlagen, welches dadurch ausgeführt wird, daß man ein Ämln der i'ormel

kuppelt, wobei Y, Z, V, Vf, R und R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen besitzen, und wobei das Amin und die Kupplungskomponente frei von Carbon- und Sulfonsauregruppen sind.

Des Verfahren kann durch übliche Maßnahmen ausgeführt werden. Beispielsweise kann das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zweckmäßig
dadurch ausgeführt werden, daß man Natriumnitrit zu einer Lösung oder Dispersion des Amins in einer starken anorganischen
Säure oder einer wäßrigen Lösung derselben zugibt, oder daß man vorzugsweise das Amin mit Uitrosylschwefelsäure

rührt und daß man die resultierende lösung oder Dispersion der
"Diazokomponente zu einer Lösung der Kupplungskomponente in Wasser oder in einer Mischung aus Wasser und einer mit
Wasser mischbaren organischen Flüssigkeit zugibt, nötigenfalls
den pH des Gemisehs zur Erleichterung der Kupplungereaktion
einstellt und abschließend den resultierenden Farbstoff durch übliche Maßnahmen isoliert,
Die AaiiB der Formel (I) können ihrerseits durch übliche Verfahren
erhalten werden, die für die Herstellung von iDhiophenderivaten
verwendet -werden. So kann beispielsweise ein 2-KaIogenth.ioph.en
nitriert werden, worauf dann das Halogenated in der 2-Stellung durch Behandlung mit Ammoniak in eine Aminegruppe
übergeführt wird. Alternativ können die 2-AminoThiophene,
die Elektronen abziehende Gruppen enthalten, durch übliche Verfahren aus den Shiophenen hergestellt werden, die
durch die Verfahren erhalten werden, die in Chemische Berichte, Band 98 auf Seite 3571 (1965) und Band 99 auf Seite 94
(1966) beschrieben sind.
Spezielle Seispiele für Amine der Formel (I) sind 2-Amino-3,5-dinitrothiophen,
2-Amino-3,4,5-trinitrothiophen, 3-liitro-5-(carbonamido-
oder -methoxycarbonyl)-2-aninothiophen, 3,5-üinitro-4—methyl-2-aninothiophen
und 3»5-Dinitro-4-(methoxy-
oder -äthoxy—earbonyl)-2-aminothiophen. Das bevorzugte Amin
für die Verwendung bei diesem Verfahren ist 2-Amino-3,5-dinitrcthiophen.

steht. Die gegebenenfalls substituierten Ifiedrigalkylradikale,
die durch R und R' dargestellt v/erden, sind irgend welche

Radikale, die oben für die Symbole R und R erwähnt werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Azofarbstoffe eignen sich zum Färben
von synthetischen Textilmaterialien und insbesondere von sekundären Celluloseacetat- und Cellulosetriacetat-Textilmaterialien,
Polyamid-Textilmater-ialien, wie z.B. Polyhexa-

methylenadipamid-Textilmaterialien, und insbesondere aromatischen
Pplyester-Textilmaterialien, wie z.B. Polyäthylenterephthalat-Textilmaterialien.
Diese Materialien können die Form von Fäden, Fasern oder gewebten oder gestrickten Materialien
aufweisen.
Die genannten Azofarbstoffe können auf die synthetischen Textilmaterialien
durch Verfahren aufgebracht werden, die üblicherweise zum Aufbringen von dispersen Farbstoffen auf selche
Textilmaterialien verwendet werden. So können die Farbstoffe in Form von wäßrigen Dispersionen durch Färben, Klotzen, oder
Drucken aufgebracht werden, wobei die Bedingungen und anderen Zusätze verwendet werden, die bei der Durchführung solcher
Verfahren üblich sind. Alternativ können die Farbstoffe auf synthetische Textilmaterialien durch Lösungsfärbeverfahren
aufgebracht werden, beispielsweise durch Aufbringen einer Lösung oder Dispersion des Farbstoffs in PerChloräthylen,
welches gegebenenfalls eine kleinere Menge Wasser enthält, auf das Textilmaterial, wobei vorzugsweise bei einer erhöhten
Temperatur gearbeitet wird.
Die Farbstoffe können auch zum Färben von synthetischen Polymeren durch Schmelzfärbung verwendet werden, und zwar insbesondere
durch eine späte Einspritztechnik. Die gefärbten Polymere können dann in Fasern oder Fäden versponnen werden.
Alternativ können die Farbstoffe zum Färben von synthetischen Textilmaterialien durch Übertragungsfärbungsdruck aufgebracht
werden.
Wenn die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe auf synthetische Textilmaterialien
aufgebracht werden, dann ergeben sie rote bis grüne Färbungen, div eine vorzügliche Echtheit gegenüber Licht
und gegenüber naße und trockne Wärmebehandlungen aufweisen, unJ zwar sowohl vor als auch nach einer Wärmefixierung. Die

Farbstoffe besitzen auch eine hohe Färbekraft, erschöpfen
gut "und besitzen vorzügliche Färbe-, Sgalisierungs-,
Temperaturbereichs- und Äufbaueigenschaften auf synthetischen
Textilmaterialien, insbesondere aromatischen Polyestertextilmaterialien,
wodurch die Erzielung von sehr tiefen Farbtönen möglich ist.
Die Erfindung wird durch die folgenden Beispiele näher erläutert, wobei die Teile und Prozentangaben in Gewicht ausgedrückt
sind.
EeisOiel 1
7,6 Teile Natriumnitrat werden zu 90 Teilen Schwefelsäure zugegeben.,
wobei die Temperatur auf 300C ansteigen gelassen wird,
Das Gemisch wird dann auf 5°C abgekühlt, und eine Mischung aus 50 Teilen Propionsäure und 300 Teilen Essigsäure wird langsam
zugegeben, wobei die Temperatur auf 15°C steigen gelassen und dann bei dieser Temperatur gehalten wird. Die Lösung wird
dann auf 0 C abgekühlt. Dann v/erden 18,9 Teile 2-Amino-3,5-dinitrothiophen
während 30 min zugegeben, und das Gemisch wird dann 30 min bei 0 C gerührt. Die erhaltene Lösung wird zu
einer Lösung von 27,9 Teilen N,K-Di(ß-acetoxyäthyl)anilin
in 300 Teilen Wasser, das 30 Teile konzentrierte wäßrige
Salzsäure und 350 Teile Eis enthält, zugegeben. Das Gemisch wird 50 min bei O0C gerührt, und der ausgefallene Farbstoff
wird abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet.
V/enn der Farbstoff aus einer wäßrigen Dispersion auf aromatische
Polyestertextilmaterialien aufgebracht wird, dann ergibt er blaue Farbtöne mit vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
V/enn die obige Kupplungskomponente durch eine äquivalente

Menge 2T#U-Oi(£-acetoxyäthyl)-m-toluidin ersetzt wird, dann
wird ein Farbstoff erhalten, der auf aromatischen Polyestertextilmaterialien grünlich-blaue Farbtöne ergibt.
las im obigen Beispiel verwendete 2-Amirio-3,5-dinitrothiophen
wurde erhalten durch Umsetzung des liatriumsalzes von
Cyanoessigsäure mit aera Dimer von Mercaptoacetaldehyd in
wäßrigem. Kediuni bei 8O0G, Abkühlen auf 200C, Zusatz von
Sssigsäureanhydrid, während der pH des G-enischs zwischen 6
und 7 gehalten wurde, Ansäuern und Isolieren der 2-Acetylaninothiophen-3-carbonsäure.
Diese wurde dann in schwefelsauren Medium bei O0C dinitriert, und das erhaltene 2-Acetylamino-3,5-dinitrothiophen
wurde isoliert und dann durch Erhitzen in wäßriger Schwefelsäure deacyliert.
2,03 Teile 2-Amino-3,5-dinitro-4-methylthiophen v/erden zu
3,8 Teilen einer 40 ^-igen Lösung von ITitrosylschwefelsäure
in Schwefelsäure, die mit 9,6 Teilen Essigsäure, 1,6 Teilen
Propionsäure und 6 Teilen Schwefelsäure verdünnt worden ist, zugegeben, und das Gemisch wird 1 st bei O0G gerührt. Dann
wird überschüssige salpetrige Säure durch Zusatz von Harnstoff zerstört, und das erhaltene Gemisch wird zu einer Lösung von
2,79 Teilen li,N-Di(ß-acetoxyäthyl)-m-toluidin in einem Gemisch
aus 50 Teilen Wasser, 25 Teilen 2is und 6 Teilen 2n wäßriger
Salzsäure zugegeben. Der pH des Gemischs wird dann durch Zusatz von ITatriumacetat auf 3 eingestellt, und der Farbstoff,
der ausgefallen ist, wird abfiltriert-,mit Vtesser gewaschen
und getrocknet.
Verm dor Farbstoff aus einem wäßrigen Färbr-bnd auf nroutt: :u-ho
Polyestertextilmaterialien aufgebracht wird, dann ergibt er

blaue Farbtöne mit vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
Das 2-Amino-3,5-dinitro-4-nethylthiophen wurde selbst wie
folgt erhalten:
Chloroaceton wurde mit Natriumhydrosulfid in wäßrigem Methanol
umgesetzt, und die. erhaltene Lösung, welche das Reaktionsprodukt
enthielt, wurde mit Athylcyanoacetat in Gegenwart von
Triäthylamin beim Siedepunkt behandelt. Durch Zusatz von Wasser fiel 2-Amino-3-äthoxycarbonyl-4-methylthiophen aus,
welches mit Essigsäureanhydrid umgesetzt wurde, um 2-Acetylamino-3-ätho:xycarbonyl-4--methylthiophen
herzustellen, das bei Hydrolyse mit einer wäßrigen lösung von Natriumhydrcxyd
in 2-Acetylamino-4-methylthiophen-3-carbonsäure übergeführt wurde. Diese wurde durch Erhitzen in If,IT-Diäthylanilin bei
22O°C decarboxyliert, und das erhaltene 2-Acetylamino-4-methylthiophen
wurde in Schwefelsäuremedium bei -5°C dinitriert.
Das erhaltene Produkt wurde dann in einer wäßrigen Schwefelsäurelösung erhitzt, um die N-Acetylgruppe zu entfernen.
Anstelle der 18,9 Teile 2-Amino-3>5-dinitrothiophen von Beispiel
1 werden 23,4 Teile 2-Amino-3,4,5-trinitrothiophen verwendet, wobei ein ähnlicher Farbstoff erhalten wird.
Das 2-Amino-3,4,5-trinitrothiophen wurde erhalten durch Umsetzung
von 2-Bromo-3,4,5-trinitrothiophen (Journal of Organics Chemistry 1957, Seite 1588) mit Ammoniak in Tetrahydrofuran.

Anstelle der 18,9 Teile 2-Amino-3,5-dinitrothiophen, die in
Beispiel 1 verwendet worden sind, werden 27,6 Teile 2-Amino-J-nitro-S-ClTjiT-diathylcarbamoyl^hiophen
verwendet, wobei ein ähnlicher Farbstoff erhalten wird.
Biese Thiophenverbindung wurde dadurch erhalten, daß 2-Bromo-3-nitrothiophnn-5-carbonsäure
(Chemical Abstracts 1963, Seite 38o0h) nit Thionylchlorid in Toluol in Gegenwart von Dimethylformamid
behandelt und anschließend mit Diäthylamin umgesetzt und dann noch mit Ammoniak zum Ersatz des Bromatoms durch
eine Aminogruppe behandelt wurde.
Anstelle der 18,9 Teile 2-Amino-3,5-dinitrothiophen von Beispiel
1 werden 20,2 Teile 2-Amino-3-nitro-5-methoxycarbonylthiophen
verwendet, wobei ein ähnlicher Farbstoff erhalten wird.
Die obige Thiophenverbindung wurde erhalten durch Veresterung von 2-Brcmo-3-nitrothiophen-5-carbonsäure durch Behandlung
mit einer 9 $-igen Schwefelsäurelösung in Methanol und Behandeln des Bromoesters mit einer konzentrierten wäßrigen
Ammoniaklösung in Gegenwart von Dimethylformamid.
2-Amino-3-nitro-5-cyanothiophen wird durch das Verfahren von Beispiel 1 diazotiert und mit N-Äthyl-K-(ß-hydroxyäthyl)-mtoluidin
gekuppelt, wobei ein Farbstoff erhalten wird, der aromatische Polyestertextilmaterialien in blaue Farbtöne mit
vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften färbt.

Das 2-Aniino-3-nitro-5-cyanothiophen wurde selbst wie folgt
erhalten:
Das OxIn von 2-Acetylamino-5-formylth.ioph.en (Journal of the
Chemical Society 1955, Seite 1701) wurde durch Behandlung mit Essigsäureanhydrid beim Siedepunkt in 2-Acetylamino-5-c3iranothiophen
übergeführt. Sie erhaltene Verbindung wurde bei 400O
in einem Gemisch aus Essigsäure und Essigsäureanhydrid nitriert, und die Hitroverbindung wurde durch Erhitzen in
einer Lösung von Natriumhydroxyd in wäßrigem Methanol deacetyliert.
In der Tabelle I sind-weitere Beispiele des erfindungsgenäßen

Carbonamide steht; Y für Viasserstoff, Chlor, gegebenenfalls

4. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Parbstoffe nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein Amin der Formel
diazotiert und die erhaltene Diazoverbindung mit einer Kupplungskomponente

kuppelt, wobei Y, Z, Y, W,. R und R die in Anspruch. 1 angegebenen
Bedeutungen "besitzen und das Anin und die Kupplungslcospcnente
frei von Carbonsäure- und Suifonsäuregruppen sind.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB
als Anin 2-Anino-3,5-dinitrothiophen verwendet v;ird.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4' oder 5» dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Kupplungskomponente die Pormel
aufweist, worin R'', R , Y und ¥ die in Anpruch 3 angegebenen
Bedeutungen besitzen.
7. Verwendung der farbstoffe nach einem der Ansprüche 1
bis 3 sum Pärben von Textilmaterialien, insbesondere aromatischen
Polyestertextilmaterialien.
