Description
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind neue heterocyclische Phenyläther der Formel I EMI2.1 wonn R Halogen, CF3, NO2, CN, (C1-C4)-Alkyl, (C1-C4) Alkoxy oder (C1-C4)-Alkylthio, A O, S, NH oder N-(C1-C4)-Alkyl; R1 H oder (C1-C4)-Alkyl; Z eine Gruppe der Formel EMI2.2 n Null bis 2; R2 H, (C1-Cl2)-Alkyl, das gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 6 Halogen, vorzugsweise F, Cl, Br und/oder durch OH, (Cl-C6)-Alkoxy, (C1-C4)-Alkylthio, (C1-C6)-Alkoxy- (C2-C6)-alkoxy, Halogen-(C1-C2)-alkoxy, Methoxy-äthoxy-äthoxy, (C 1-C4)-Alkylamino, Di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino, Phenyl, Oxiranyl und/oder Phenoxy substituiert ist, wobei letzteres ebenfalls ein- bis zweifach durch Halogen oder (C1-C4)-Alkyl substituiert sein kann, (C5-C6)-Cycloalkyl, das gegebenenfalls durch Halogen oder Methyl substituiert ist, (C3-C6)-Alkenyl, Halogen (C3-C6)-alkenyl oder (C5-C6)-Cycloalkenyl, (C34)-Alkinyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C6)-Alkyl, Phenyl, Halogen bzw. (Cl-C2)-Alk- oxy substituiert ist, Phenyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch (C1-C4)-Alkyl, (C1-C4)-Alkoxy, Halogen, NO2 oder CF3 substituiert ist, Furfuryl, Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder ein Kationäquivalent einer organischen oder anorganischen Base; R3 (Cl-C6)-Alkyl, Phenyl-(Cl-C2)-alkyl, wobei der Phe. nylrest ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C4)-Alkyl und/oder Halogen substituiert sein kann, (C3-C6)-Alkenyl oder Phenyl, das auch ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C4)-Alkyl und/ oder Halogen substituiert sein kann; R4 und R5 gleich oder verschieden sind und H, (C1-C6) Alkyl, Hydroxy-(C1-C6)-alkyl, (C5-C6)-Cycloalkyl oder Phenyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch (C1-C4) Alkyl, (C1-C4)-Alkoxy, Halogen oder CF3 substituiert ist, mit der Massgabe, dass R4 und R5 nicht gemeinsam Phenyl sind, bedeuten oder gemeinsam eine Methylenkette mit 2.4 oder 5 Gliedern bilden, in der eine CH2-Gruppe gegebenenfalls durch 0, NH oder N(CH3) ersetzt sein kann; R6 H oder CH3; R7 H, CH3 oder C2Hs; R8 H, CH3, C2Hs- oder Phenyl; ; R9 (C1-C6)-Alkyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch Halogen substituiert ist, Cyclopropyl, (C3-C6)-Alkenyl, Phenyl, (C 1-C4)-Alkyl-phenyl, (C 1-C4)-Alkoxy-phenyl, Halogenphenyl, Trifluormethylphenyl oder Nitrophenyl; sowie R10 (C1-C4)-Alkyl oder Phenyl, das auch ein- oder zweifach durch Halogen, CF3, NO2 oder (Cl-C4)-Alkyl substituiert sein kann, bedeuten. Die in den Resten R1 bis R5, R9 und R10 aufgeführten Alkyl-, Alkenyl- und Alkinylreste können sowohl geradkettig als auch verzweigt sein. Bevorzugte Verbindungen der Formel I sind solche, in denen: R Halogen, CF3, NO2, CH3, Methoxy; A O, S, N-CH3; R1H,CH3 bedeuten und Z die angegebenen Bedeutungen hat. Halogen steht bevorzugt für Fluor, Chlor oder Brom. Insbesondere bevorzugt sind dabei unter den für Z genannten Gruppen: EMI2.3 aufgrund der biologischen Wirksamkeit jedoch am meisten bevorzugt sind EMI2.4 Die Verbindungen der Formel I lassen sich aus an sich bekannten bzw. nach bekannten Verfahren hergestellten Aus gangsmaterialien herstellen. Dabei geht man zweckmässigerweise so vor, dass man a) Verbindungen der Formel II EMI3.1 mit Verbindungen der Formel III EMI3.2 umsetzt; b) Verbindungen der Formel IV EMI3.3 mit Verbindungen der Formel V EMI3.4 wobei B Halogen oder eine Sulfoestergruppe, z.B. den Mesyl- oder Tosylrest, darstellt, umsetzt; c) Verbindungen der Formel I, in der Z die -COOR2- Gruppe darstellt, hydriert und die erhaltenen Alkohole (Z = CH2OH) gewünschtenfalls durch Umsetzung mit Carbonsäuren, Carbonsäurehalogeniden oder Anhydriden in die entsprechenden Carbonsäureester (Z = -CH2-OC(ObR9), durch Umsetzung mit Sulfonsäurehalogeniden in Sulfonsäureester (Z = -CH2-O-SO2-Rlo) bzw. durch Umsetzung mit Carbamidsäurehalogeniden oder Isocyanaten in Carbaminsäureester (Z = -CH2-O-CO- EMI3.5 überführt; oder d) die nach Verfahren a) und b) erhaltenen Verbindungen durch Verseifung, Salzbildung, Veresterung, Umesterung, Amidierung, Wasserabspaltung oder -anlagerung oder Schwefelwasserstoffanlagerung in andere erfindungsgemässe Verbindungen der Formel I überführt. Zu a) und b) Die Umsetzung der Verbindungen II und III sowie IV und V erfolgt vorzugsweise in inerten aprotischen Lösungsmitteln wie aliphatischen oder aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen (wie z. B. Benzol, Toluol, Xylol), Säurenitrilen wie z. B. Acetonitril oder Propionitril, Ketonen wie z. B. Aceton, Methyläthylketon oder Methylisobutylketon, Säureamiden wie z. B. Dimethylformamid, Dimethylacetamid, N-Methylpyrrolidon oder Hexamethylphosphorsäuretriamid oder in Dimethylsulfoxid bei Temperaturen im allgemeinen zwischen 30 und 250 "C bzw. der Siedetemperatur des Lösungsmittels, vorzugsweise zwischen 60 und 160 C, in der Regel in Gegenwart anorganischer oder organischer Basen wie z. B. Metallalkoholaten, tertiären Aminen, Alkali- oder Erdalkalicarbonaten und Laugen (NaOH, KOH). Zu c) Die Reduktion von Säuren oder Estern zu Alkoholen wird vorzugsweise mit komplexen Metallhydriden wie LiAIH4 in ätherischen, wasserfreien Lösungsmitteln durchgeführt. Da die Reaktion gewöhnlich exotherm verläuft, er übrigt sich im allgemeinen eine Temperaturzufuhr von aussen. Die anschliessende Veresterung mit Säureanhydriden oder Säurehalogeniden erfolgt in der Regel in inerten Lösungsmitteln (wie bei a) im allgemeinen bei Temperaturen zwischen 0 "C und dem Siedepunkt des Lösungsmittels unter Zusatz einer organischen oder anorganischen Base, z. B. Na2CO3, K2CO3, Pyridin oder Triäthylamin. Die Veresterung mit Carbonsäuren erfolgt in der Regel entweder durch Zusatz wasserbindender Mittel wie P2O5 oder durch azeotrope extraktive Destillation der angesäuerten Komponenten. Carbaminsäurehalogenide und Isocyanate lassen sich z.B. mit den Alkoholen in Gegenwart von Basen unter ähnlichen Bedingungen wie Carbonsäurehalogenide umsetzen, wobei im allgemeinen etwas erhöhte Temperaturen angewendet werden, vorzugsweise zwischen 40 "C und der Siedetemperatur des Lösungsmittels. Zu d) Zur Amidierung von Verbindungen der Formel I kann man in der Regel entweder von Estern ausgehen und diese mit Aminen, Ammoniak oder Hydrazinen umsetzen. Man verwendet dabei vorzugsweise die gleichen Lösungsmittel wie bei a) tind arbeitet bei Temperaturen zwischen 40 "C und Rücktlusstemperatur. Man kann aber auch zunächst Säuren der Formel I in bekannter Weise in Säurehalogenide überführen und diese anschliessend mit Ammoniak, Aminen oder Hydrazinen umsetzen. Zur Bindung des freiwerdenden Halogenwasserstoffs ist im allgemeinen ein mindestens einmolarer Überschuss der eingesetzten Base erforderlich. Durch Umsetzung des Säurechlorids mit Alkoholen oder Mercaptanen kann man andere Ester oder Thioester der Formel I erhalten. Die Umesterung kann durch saure oder basische Katalyse geschehen. Man setzt den Alkohol, der in den Ester eingeführt werden soll, zweckmässigerweise im Überschuss zu und destilliert den freiwerdenden, niedriger siedenden Alkohol laufend in dem Masse ab, in dem er bei der Umesterung gebildet wird. Bei der Entwässerung von Amiden zu Nitrilen arbeitet man vorzugsweise in aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen bei Temperaturen von 50 "C bis zur Siedetemperatur. Die anschliessende Anlagerung von H2S erfolgt zweckmässigerweise im Autoklaven in Gegenwart katalytischer Mengen einer Base (vorzugsweise Äthanolamin) bei Temperaturen zwischen 50 und 150 "C. Die für die Herstellung der erfindungsgemässen Verbindungen der Formel I benötigten Heterocyclen der Formel II stehen gemäss der Definition von A für entsprechend substituierte 2-Halogenbenzoxazole, 2-Halogenbenzthiazole, 2 Halogen-l-alkyl-benzimidazole bzw. 2-Halogenbenzimidazole, die nach bekannten Verfahren z.B. aus den entsprechenden 2-Merkaptoverbindungen bzw. 2-Oxoverbindungen durch Halogenierung hergestellt werden können [C.A. 59, 39f; Am. Chem. J. 21, 111(1899)]. Die entsprechenden Phenole der Formel III und IV Iassen sich z. B. durch halbseitige Verätherung von Hydrochinon (J. Org. Chem. 39, S. 214 (1974) bzw. Soc. 1965, 954-73) herstellen. Für R1 + Wasserstoff weisen die Verbindungen der Formel I ein Asymmetriezentrum auf und liegen üblicherweise in racemischer Form vor. Die Racemate lassen sich nach üblichen Methoden in Diastereomere trennen. Ebenso ist es möglich, nach Verfahren a) oder b) optisch aktive Ausgangsstoffe der Formeln III und V einzusetzen. Die erfindungsgemässen Verbindungen der Formel I sind im Vor- und Nachaunaufverfahren gegen ein breites Spek trum von ein- und mehrjährigen Schadgräsern sehr gut wirksam, gleichzeitig werden sie jedoch von zweikeimblättrigen Kulturpflanzen sowie einigen Getreidearten vorzüglich toleriert. Die Verbindungen sind daher zur selektiven Bekämpfung von ein- und mehrjährigen Schadgräsern in Kulturpflanzen geeignet. Solche Schadgräser sind beispielsweise Wildhafer (Avena), Fuchsschwanz (Alopecurus spp.), Rispengras (Poa spp.), Raygras (Lolium spp.), ein- und mehrjährige Wildhirsen (Echinochloa spp., Setaria spp., Digitaria spp., Panicum spp., Sorghum spp.), Bermudagras (Cynodon spp.) und Quecke (Agropyron spp.). Dementsprechend können die Verbindungen der Formel I mit Erfolg als aktive Komponente in herbiziden Mitteln verwendet werden. Diese herbiziden Mittel enthalten die Wirkstoffe der Formel I im allgemeinen zu 2 bis 95 Gew.-%. Sie können z. B. als benetzbare Pulver, emulgierbare Konzentrate, versprühbare Lösungen, Stäubemittel oder Granulate in den üblichen Zubereitungen angewendet werden. Benetzbare Pulver sind in Wasser gleichmässig dispergierbare Präparate, die neben dem Wirkstoff ausser einem Verdünnungs- oder Inertstoff noch Netzmittel, z. B. polyox äthylierte Alkylphenole, polyoxäthylierte Oleyl-, Stearylamine, Alkyl- oder Alkylphenyl-sulfonate und Dispergiermittel, z. B. ligninsulfonsaures Natrium, 2,2'-dinaphthylmethan-6,6'-disulfonsaures Natrium, oder auch oleylmethyltaurinsaures Natrium enthalten. Emulgierbare Konzentrate werden durch Auflösen des Wirkstoffes in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, z. B. Butanol, Cyclohexanon, Dimethylformamid, Xylol oder auch höhersiedenden Aromaten und Zusatz eines nichtionischen Netzmittels, beispielsweise eines polyoxäthylierten Alkylphenols oder eines polyoxäthylierten Oleyl- oder Stearylamins, erhalten. Stäubemittel erhält man durch Vermahlen des Wirkstoffes mit fein verteilten, festen Stoffen, z. B. Talkum, natürlichen Tonen, wie Kaolin, Bentonit, Pyrophillit oder Diatomeenerde. Versprühbare Lösungen, wie sie vielfach in Sprühdosen gehandelt werden, enthalten den Wirkstoff in einem organischen Lösungsmittel gelöst, daneben befindet sich z. B. als Treibmittel ein Gemisch von Fluorchlorkohlenwasserstoffen. Granulate können entweder durch Verdüsen des Wirkstoffes auf adsorptionsfähiges, granuliertes Inertmaterial hergestellt werden oder durch Aufbringen von Wirkstoffkonzentraten mittels Klebemitteln, z. B. Polyvinylalkohol, polyacrylsaurem Natrium, oder auch Mineralölen auf die Oberfläche von Trägerstoffen, wie Sand, Kaolinite, oder von granuliertem Inertmaterial. Auch können geeignete Wirkstoffe in der für die Herstellung von Düngemittelgranalien üblichen Weise - gewünschtenfalls in Mischung mit Düngemitteln - hergestellt werden. Bei den herbiziden Mitteln können die Konzentrationen der Wirkstoffe in den handelsüblichen Formulierungen verschieden sein. In benetzbaren Pulvern variiert die Wirkstoffkonzentration z.B. zwischen etwa 10 und 95%, der Rest besteht aus den oben angegebenen Formulierungszusätzen. Bei emulgierbaren Konzentraten ist die Wirkstoffkonzentration im allgemeinen etwa 10 bis 80%. Staubförmige Formulierungen enthalten meistens 5 bis 20% an Wirkstoff, versprühbare Lösungen etwa z. B. 2 bis 20%. Bei Granulaten hängt der Wirkstoffgehalt z. T. davon ab, ob die wirksame Verbindung flüssig oder fest vorliegt und welche Granulierhilfsmittel, Füllstoffe usw. verwendet werden. Zur Anwendung werden die handelsüblichen Konzentrate gegebenenfalls in üblicher Weise verdünnt, z. B. bei benetzbaren Pulvern und emulgierbaren Konzentraten mittels Wasser. Staubförmige und granulierte Zubereitungen sowie versprühbare Lösungen werden vor der Anwendung nicht mehr mit weiteren inerten Stoffen verdünnt. Mit den äusseren Bedingungen wie Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit u. a. variiert die erforderliche Aufwandmenge. Sie kann innerhalb weiter Grenzen schwanken, z.B. zwischen 0,05 und 10,0 kg/ ha oder mehr Aktivsubstanz, vorzugsweise liegt sie jedoch zwischen 0,1 und 5 kg/ha. Die als Wirkstoffe dienenden Verbindungen der Formel I können mit anderen Herbiziden, Insektiziden und Fungiziden kombiniert werden. Formulierungsbeispiele Beispiel A: Ein emulgierbares Konzentrat wird erhalten aus 15 Gew.-Teilen Wirkstoff 75 Gew.-Teilen Cyclohexanon als Lösungsmittel und 10 Gew.-Teilen oxäthyliertes Nonylphenol (10 eO) als Emulgator. Beispiel B: Ein in Wasser leicht dispergierbares benetzbares Pulver wird erhalten, indem man 25 Gew.-Teile Wirkstoff 64 Gew.-Teile kaolinhaltiges Quarz als Inertstoff 10 Gew.-Teile ligninsulfonsaures Kalium und 1 Gew.-Teil oleylmethyltaurinsaures Natrium als Netz und Dispergiermittel mischt und in einer Stiftmühle mahlt. Beispiel C: Ein Stäubemittel wird erhalten, indem man 10 Gew.-Teile Wirkstoff und 90 Gew.-Teile Talkum als Inertstoff mischt und in einer Schlagmühle zerkleinert. Beispiel D: Ein Granulat besteht z.B. aus etwa 2-15 Gew.-Teilen Wirkstoff 98-85 Gew.-Teilen inerten Granulatmaterialien, wie z. B. Attapulgit, Bimsstein und Quarzsand. Herstellungsbeispiele Beispiel 1: 2-[4'-(Benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)-phenoxy]-propion- säureäthylester 42 g (0,2 Mol) 2-(4'-Hydroxyphenoxy)-propionsäure äthylester werden mit 33,1 g (0,24 Mol) Kaliumcarbonat in 300 ml Acetonitril zur Salzbildung 11/2 Stunden unter Rückfluss erhitzt. Nachdem 33,9 g (0,2 Mol) 2-Chlorbenzthiazol zugegeben sind, wird die Siedetemperatur so lange beibehalten, bis im Dünnschichtchromatogramm keine Ausgangsmaterialien mehr nachweisbar sind (30 Stunden). Man filtriert heiss vom Salzanteil ab und destilliert Acetonitril ab. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird destilliert. Nach der Destillation erhält man 60,7 g (88,5% d. Th. an 2 [4'-(Benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)-phenoxy]-propionsäureäthyl- ester vom Kpo.l: 202-204 0C. EMI4.1 Beispiel 2: 2-[4'-(Benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)-phenoxy]-propanol 94 g (0,274 Mol) des in Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Esters werden in 400 ml absolutem Diäthyläther vorgelegt, dazu wird eine Suspension von 7,2 g (0,19 Mol) Lithiumaluminiumhydrid in 300 ml absolutem Äther so zugetropft, dass das Reaktionsgemisch siedet. Nach der Zugabe wird 1 Stunde am Rückfluss erhitzt. Nach dem Abkühlen werden 350 ml Wasser und 400 ml 2n-Schwefelsäure zugegeben. Die Phasen werden getrennt und die wässrige Phase dreimal mit je 150 ml Diäthyläther ausgeschüttelt. Die vereinigten Ätherextrakte werden mit Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet und unter Vakuum zur Trockne eingeengt. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird aus Cyclohexan/Toluol umkristallisiert. Nach Umkristallisieren erhält man 75,8 g (92% d.Th.) an 2-[4'-(Benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)-phenoxy]-propanol vom Fp. 102-104"C. EMI5.1 Beispiel 3: 1 -Propylcarbonyloxy-2-(4'-benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy) phenoxy]-propan 20 g (0,07 Mol) des in Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Alkohols und 8,5 g (0,084 Mol) Triäthylamin werden in 50 ml trockenem Toluol gelöst und innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu einer vorgelegten Lösung von 7,3 g (0,08 Mol) Buttersäurechlorid in 100 ml trockenem Toluol zugetropft. Nach der Zugabe wird 3 Stunden bei 60 "C nachgerührt, gebildetes Triäthylaminhydrochlorid abgetrennt und das Filtrat mit gesättigter Bicarbonatlösung und Wasser mehrmals gewaschen, getrocknet und am Rotationsverdampfer zur Trockne eingeengt. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird unter Vakuum destilliert. Nach der Destillation erhält man 23 g (88,7% d.Th.) an 1 Propylcarbonyloxy-2-[4'-(benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)-phenoxy]- propan vom Kpo,os: 207 "C. EMI5.2 Beispiel 4: 1 -Methylaminocarbonyloxy-2-[4'-(benzthiazol-2"-yl-oxy)- phenoxy]-propan 25 g (0,083 Mol) des in Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Alkohols werden mit 9,5 g (0,166 Mol) Methylisocyanat und 1 ml Tri äthylamin in 150 ml trockenem Toluol 4 Stunden bei 100 "C gerührt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird abgekühlt, dreimal mit je 150 ml Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet und am Rotationsverdampfer zur Trockne eingeengt. Nach Umkristallisation erhält man 25,2 g (84,8% d.Th.) an 1-Methylaminocarbonyloxy-2-[4'-(benzthiazol-2"- yl-oxy)-phenoxy]-propan vom Fp. 99-100 "C. -NH Biologische Beispiele Beispiel I, Vorauflaufbehandlung Samen des einjährigen Schadgrases Lolium wurden in Töpfen ausgesät und die als Spritzpulver formulierten erfindungsgemässen Präparate auf die Erdoberfläche gesprüht. Anschliessend wurden die Töpfe für 4 Wochen in einem Gewächshaus aufgestellt und das Resultat der Behandlung (ebenso wie bei den folgenden Beispielen) durch eine Bonitierung nach dem Schema von Bolle (s. Tabelle) festgehalten. Die in Tabelle I aufgeführten erfindungsgemässen Präparate zeigten eine gute Wirkung gegen Lolium. Einige der Verbindungen waren ausserdem gegen Echinochloa, Cynodon bzw. gegen Agropyron wirksam. Beispiel II, Nachauflaufbehandlung Samen der Schadgräser Lolium und Echinochloa wurden in Töpfen ausgesät und im Gewächshaus angezogen. 3 Wochen nach der Aussaat wurden die als Spritzpulver formulierten erfindungsgemässen Präparate auf die Pflanzen gesprüht und nach 4 Wochen Standzeit im Gewächshaus die Wirkung der Präparate bonitiert. Die in den Tabellen IIa und IIb aufgeführten erfindungsgemässen Verbindungen zeigten eine gute Wirkung gegen Lolium (IIa) und Echinochloa (IIb). Beispiel III, Kulturpflanzenverträglichkeit In weiteren Versuchen im Gewächshaus wurden Samen einer grösseren Anzahl von Kulturpflanzen in Töpfen ausgelegt. Ein Teil der Töpfe wurde sofort behandelt (vgl. Tabelle III, A. Vorauflauf), die übrigen wurden im Gewächshaus aufgestellt, bis die Pflanzen 2 bis 3 echte Blätter entwickelt hatten, und dann mit erfindungsgemässen Substanzen besprüht (vgl. Tabelle III, B. Nachauflauf). Die Ergebnisse, die 4 bis 5 Wochen nach Applikation festgestellt wurden, zeigen, dass die erfindungsgemässen Substanzen zweikeimblättrige Kulturen im Vor- und Nachauflauf-Verfahren selbst mit 2,5 kg/ha völlig oder fast völlig ungeschädigt lassen. Einige Substanzen schonen darüber hinaus auch Gramineen-Kulturen wie Gerste, Sorghum, Mais, Weizen oder Reis. Die Substanzen sind somit bezüglich der in den vorigen Beispielen beschriebenen Unkrautwirkung hoch selektiv. Claims (14)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Heterocyclische Phenyläther der Formel I EMI1.1 worin R Halogen, CF3, NO2, CN, (C,-C4)-Alkyl, (Cl-C4)- Alkoxy oder (Cl-C4pAlkylthio, A 0,5, NH oder N-(Cl-C4)-Alkyl; R1 H oder (C,-C4)-Alkyl; Z eine Gruppe der Formel EMI1.2 n Null bis 2;; R2 H, (C1-C12)-Alkyl, das gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 6 Halogen und/oder durch OH, (C1-C6)-Alkoxy, (C1-C4)-Al- kylthio, (C1-C6)-Alkoxy-(C2-C6)-alkoxy, Halogen (C1-C2)-alkoxy, Methoxy-äthoxy-äthoxy, (C1-C4)-Alkylamino, Di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino, Phenyl, Oxiranyl und/oder Phenoxy substituiert ist, wobei letzteres ebenfalls ein- bis zweifach durch Halogen oder (C1-C4)-Alkyl substituiert sein kann, (C5-C6)-Cycloalkyl, das gegebenenfalls durch Halogen oder Methyl substituiert ist, (C3-C6)Alkenyl, Halogen (C3-C6)-alkenyl oder (C5-C6)-Cycloalkenyl, (C3-C4)-Alkinyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C6)-Alkyl, Phenyl, Halogen bzw. (C1-C2)-Alk- oxy substituiert ist, Phenyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch (C1-C4j-Alkyl, (C1-C4)-Alkoxy, Halogen,NO2 oder CF3 substituiert ist, Furfuryl, Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder ein Kationäquivalent einer organischen oder anorganischen Base; R3 (C1-C6)-Alkyl, Phenyl-(C1-C2)-alkyl, wobei der Phenylrest ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C4)-Alkyl und/oder Halogen substituiert sein kann, (C3-C6)-Alkenyl oder Phenyl, das auch ein- oder zweifach durch (C1-C4)-Alkyl und/ oder Halogen substituiert sein kann;; R4 und R5 gleich oder verschieden sind und H, (C1-C6) Alkyl, Hydroxy-(C1-C6)-alkyl, (C5-C6)-Cycloalkyl oder Phenyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch (C1-C4) Alkyl, (C1-C4)-Alkoxy, Halogen oder CF3 substituiert ist, mit der Massgabe, dass R4 und R5 nicht gemeinsam Phenyl sind, bedeuten oder gemeinsam eine Methylenkette mit 2, 4 oder 5 Gliedern bilden, in der eine CH2-Gruppe gegebenenfalls durch 0, NH oder N(CH3) ersetzt sein kann; R6 H oder CH3; R7 H,CH3 oderC2H5; R5 H, CH3, C2Hs- oder Phenyl;; R9 (C1-C6)-Alkyl, das gegebenenfalls ein- bis dreifach durch Halogen substituiert ist, Cyclopropyl, (C3-C6)-Alkenyl, Phenyl, (C,-C4)-Alkyl-phenyl, (C 1-C4)-Alkoxy-phenyl, Halogenphenyl, Trifluormethylphenyl oder Nitrophenyl; sowie R10 (C1-C4)-Alkyl oder Phenyl, das auch ein-oder zweifach durch Halogen, CF3, NO2 oder (C1-C4)-Alkyl substituiert sein kann, bedeuten.

- 5. 2-(4'-(6"-Chlorbenzthiazolyl-2"-oxy)-phenoxy]-propa- nol-l als Verbindung der Formeln nach Patentanspruch 1.
- 6. 2-(4'-(6"-Brombenzthiazolyl-2"-oxy)-phenoxy]-propa- nol-l als Verbindung der Formel I nach Patentanspruch 1.
- 7. 2-[4'-(5"-Chlorbenzoxazolyl-2"-oxy)-phenoxy]-pro- pionsäure-(C1-C4)-alkylester als Verbindung der Formel I nach Patentanspruch 1.
- 8. 2-(4'-(6"-Chlorbenzoxazolyl-2"-oxy)-phenoxy]-pro- pionsäure-(Cl-C4)-alkylester als Verbindung der Formel I nach Patentanspruch 1.

- 14. Verwendung einer Verbindung der Formel I nach Patentanspruch 1 zur Bekämpfung unerwünschter Gräser, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf die zu behandelnde Fläche eine wirksame Menge einer Verbindung der Formel I aufbringt.
