Description
本発明は、光硬化可能な、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するシロキサンアクリレート(以下、「含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート」という。)に関する。
従来、紫外線などの光照射により硬化可能なフッ素化合物としては、パーフルオロアルキル基を有する重合性モノマー、アクリル酸含フッ素アルキルエステルやメタクリル酸含フッ素アルキルエステルを含む重合体が広く知られている。代表的なものとして、下記構造式で表される化合物が、基材表面に低反射性、撥水撥油性、防汚性、耐摩耗性、耐擦傷性等を付与する目的で広く用いられてきた。
ところが、近年、環境負荷の懸念から炭素原子数8以上の長鎖パーフルオロアルキル基を含有する化合物の利用を制限する動きが強まっている。しかしながら、炭素原子数8未満のパーフルオロアルキル基を含有するアクリル化合物は、炭素原子数8以上の長鎖パーフルオロアルキル基を持つものに比べ、その表面特性が顕著に悪いことが知られている(非特許文献1)。
一方、連続する炭素原子数が3以下のパーフルオロアルキレンとエーテル結合性酸素原子とからなるパーフルオロポリエーテル類を導入した光硬化可能なフッ素化合物が知られている。例えば、ヘキサフルオロプロピレンオキシドオリゴマーから誘導される含フッ素アクリル化合物や(特許文献1)、フッ素含有ポリエーテルジオールと2-イソシアネートエチルメタクリレートとの反応物からなるウレタンアクリレートが提案されている(特許文献2)。しかし、フッ素含有化合物の撥水撥油特性から、光重合開始剤、非フッ素化アクリレート、及び非フッ素化有機溶剤との相溶性が低く、配合可能な成分及び用途が限定的である。
これに対し、環状シロキサン構造とウレタン構造を備え、非フッ素系溶剤との相溶性に優れた含フッ素アクリレート化合物が提案されている(特許文献3)。しかしながら、この化合物を、反射防止膜を形成するための組成物に配合することに鑑みると、より低い屈折率を有する含フッ素アクリレートが好ましい。非フッ素系溶剤との相溶性と屈折率はトレードオフの関係にあり、相溶性を向上させるためにウレタン構造を多く構造中に導入した、特許文献3に示される含フッ素アクリレートは、形成される被膜の屈折率が高く、被膜の低反射性を損なう。更に、含フッ素アクリレート中のアクリル基量と屈折率もトレードオフの関係にあり、含フッ素アクリレートの屈折率を下げるためにアクリル基の含有量を減量すると、形成される被膜の強度を損なう。
上記の背景から、非フッ素系溶剤との相溶性を損なうことなく、かつ、アクリル基を減量せずに、より低い屈折率を実現した含フッ素アクリレート化合物が望まれていた。

本発明は、上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、アクリル基の含有量を保持しつつ、非フッ素系溶剤への良好な相溶性と低屈折率を実現した、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有する含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを提供することを目的とする。
本発明者は、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意検討した結果、下記含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートが、アクリル基の含有量を保持しつつ、非フッ素系溶剤への良好な相溶性と低屈折率を実現できることを見出し、本発明を完成させた。
即ち、本発明は、
1. 下記式(1)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート、

本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、従来の含フッ素アクリレートと同等のアクリル基量でありながら、非フッ素系有機化合物との相溶性と低屈折率とを両立し、光で硬化して撥水撥油性の硬化物を形成することができ、反射防止膜用の樹脂として、あるいはハードコート用の添加剤として有用である。
式(1)中、PFPEは、数平均分子量500~30,000の2価のパーフルオロポリエーテル鎖である。好ましくは1,000~5,000であって、下記構造式(5)で表されるパーフルオロアルキレン基と酸素原子とが交互に連結した構造を有するものが好ましい。なお、本発明において、数平均分子量は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)による標準ポリスチレン換算値である。
式(5)において、Aは、炭素原子数1~3のパーフルオロアルキレン基を表し、同一でも異なっていてもよく、配列は任意であってよい。nは、1以上の数であり、6~60の数が好ましく、10~35の数がより好ましい。破線は結合手を表す(以下同じ)。
パーフルオロポリエーテル鎖において、すべり性を発現する屈曲点となる酸素原子が多く存在する点、鎖の屈曲運動を阻害する枝分かれ構造がない点などから、Aとしてはパーフルオロメチレン基及びパーフルオロエチレン基が好ましい。
PFPEで表される2価のパーフルオロポリエーテル鎖は、工業的に得られやすい点を考慮すると、オキシジフルオロメチレン基とオキシテトラフルオロエチレン基とが共存する、下記式(6)で表されるものが特に好ましい。
式(6)において、パーフルオロオキシメチレン基の数(a)はa≧1の数であり、パーフルオロオキシエチレン基の数(b)はb≧1の数である。パーフルオロオキシメチレン基の数(a)とパーフルオロオキシエチレン基の数(b)の比(a/b)は、特に限定されるものではないが、1/10~10/1の数が好ましく、3/10~10/3の数がより好ましい。a及びbが付された括弧内の繰り返し単位の配列は任意であってよい。
R2は、それぞれ独立して、水素原子、フッ素原子、メチル基、又はトリフルオロメチル基であり、水素原子、メチル基が好ましく、水素原子が特に好ましい。
Y1は、それぞれ独立して、エーテル結合を含んでもよく(但し、酸素原子との結合末端にOを含み、-O-O-結合を生じるものを除く)、環状構造又は分岐構造を有してもよい2価の有機基である。Y1としては、例えば、炭素原子数2~20、好ましくは2~10のアルキレン基等が挙げられるが、以下の構造式で表されるものが好ましい。
Gのアルキル基としては、例えば、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、i-プロピル、n-ブチル、s-ブチル、t-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、シクロヘキシル等が挙げられる。Gは、好ましくは炭素原子数1~6、より好ましくは炭素原子数1~4、更に好ましくは炭素原子数1~3のアルキル基であり、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基が特に好ましい。
式(3)において、R1は、炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基であり、具体的には、例えば、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、i-プロピル、n-ブチル、s-ブチル、t-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、シクロヘキシル等のアルキル基、フェニル等のアリール基などが挙げられる。R1としては、炭素原子数1~3のアルキル基が好ましく、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基がより好ましい。
R3は、それぞれ独立して、炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基であり、具体的には、R1について例示したものと同じものが挙げられる。R3としては、炭素原子数1~3のアルキル基が好ましく、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基がより好ましい。
eは0~2の整数であるが、好ましくは0であり、fは0~2の整数であり、gは1~3の整数であり、e+f+gは3である。
[製造方法]
本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、例えば、以下の方法で製造することができる。
〔1〕ハイドロジェンシロキサンの合成
先ず、下記式(7)で表される、両末端にアルコキシシリル基を有するパーフルオロポリエーテルを、下記式(8a)及び/又は(8b)で表されるSi-H結合を有する化合物と共加水分解縮合することにより、下記式(9)で表されるパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するハイドロジェンシロキサンを製造することができる。
本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、例えば、以下の方法で製造することができる。
〔1〕ハイドロジェンシロキサンの合成
先ず、下記式(7)で表される、両末端にアルコキシシリル基を有するパーフルオロポリエーテルを、下記式(8a)及び/又は(8b)で表されるSi-H結合を有する化合物と共加水分解縮合することにより、下記式(9)で表されるパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するハイドロジェンシロキサンを製造することができる。
式中、R4、R5は、それぞれ独立して、炭素原子数1~12、好ましくは1~6、より好ましくは1~4のアルキル基であり、R6は炭素原子数1~12、好ましくは1~6、より好ましくは1~4のアルキル基である。wは、それぞれ独立して、0~2の整数であり、PFPE及びZは上記のとおりである(以下同じ)。
R4、R5、R6としては、例えば、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、i-プロピル、n-ブチル、s-ブチル、t-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、シクロヘキシル等のアルキル基が挙げられ、好ましくはメチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、n-ブチル基である。
共加水分解において、化合物(7)に対する、化合物(8a)及び/又は(8b)の配合量は、化合物(7)どうしの架橋を防ぐため、化合物(7)のアルコキシ基1当量に対し、化合物(8a)及び/又は(8b)をケイ素換算で2当量以上用いて共加水分解を行った後に、未反応の化合物(8a)及び/又は(8b)を減圧留去により除去することが好ましく、化合物(7)のアルコキシ基1当量に対し、化合物(8a)及び/又は(8b)をケイ素換算で2~10当量、特に2~6当量の存在下で反応させるのが好ましい。なお、化合物(8a)と化合物(8b)を併用する際は、化合物(8a)と化合物(8b)の添加量(質量比)は(8a)/(8b)=50/1~1/50の割合が好ましい。
共加水分解を実施するに際しては、加水分解触媒を用いることが好ましい。用いられる加水分解触媒としては、従来公知の触媒を使用することができ、例えば、塩酸、硝酸、硫酸、ハロゲン化水素、カルボン酸、スルホン酸等の酸;酸性又は弱酸性の無機塩;イオン交換樹脂等の固体酸;アンモニア、水酸化ナトリウム等の無機塩基類;トリブチルアミン、1,5-ジアザビシクロ[4.3.0]ノネン-5(DBN)、1,8-ジアザビシクロ[5.4.0]ウンデセン-7(DBU)等の有機塩基類;有機スズ化合物,有機チタニウム化合物、有機ジルコニウム化合物、有機アルミニウム化合物等の有機金属化合物などが挙げられ、これらは1種単独で用いても2種以上の複数種を併用しても構わない。
本発明では、特に、塩酸、硝酸、硫酸、メタンスルホン酸等の酸;有機スズ化合物、有機チタニウム化合物及び有機アルミニウム系化合物から選ばれる有機金属化合物が好ましい。有機金属化合物としては、具体的には、ジブチル錫ジラウレート、ジブチル錫ジオクテート、ジブチル錫ジアセテート、ジオクチル錫ジラウレート、ジオクチル錫ジオクテート、ジオクチル錫ジアセテート、ジブチル錫ビスアセチルアセテート、ジオクチル錫ビスアセチルラウレート、テトラブチルチタネート、テトラノニルチタネート、テトラキスエチレングリコールメチルエーテルチタネート、テトラキスエチレングリコールエチルエーテルチタネート、ビス(アセチルアセトニル)ジプロピルチタネート、アセチルアセトンアルミニウム、アルミニウムビス(エチルアセトアセテート)モノノルマルブチレート、アルミニウムエチルアセトアセテートジノルマルブチレート、アルミニウムトリス(エチルアセトアセテート)、それらの加水分解物などが挙げられる。これらの中でも、反応性の観点から、塩酸、硝酸、メタンスルホン酸等の酸;テトラブチルチタネート、アルミニウムエチルアセトアセテートジノルマルブチレート、アルミニウムビス(エチルアセトアセテート)モノノルマルブチレート及びそれらの加水分解物が好ましく、メタンスルホン酸が特に好ましい。
加水分解触媒の量は、特に限定されるものではないが、式(7)の化合物のケイ素原子上のアルコキシ基1モルに対して0.001~15モル%が好ましく、0.001~10モル%が特に好ましい。
上記共加水分解・縮合反応は、有機溶媒の存在下で行ってもよい。有機溶媒としては、上記の各原料化合物と相溶するものであれば特に制限されず、その具体例としては、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素類;ヘキサン、オクタン等の炭化水素類;メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン等のケトン類;酢酸エチル、酢酸イソブチル等のエステル類;メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、イソブタノール、t-ブタノール等のアルコール類;フッ素系溶媒などが挙げられる。
フッ素系溶媒としては、例えば、1,3-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)ベンゼン、トリフルオロトルエン等の含フッ素芳香族炭化水素類;パーフルオロヘキサン、パーフルオロメチルシクロヘキサン等の炭素原子数3~12のパーフルオロカーボン類;1,1,2,2,3,3,4-ヘプタフルオロシクロペンタン、1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-トリデカフルオロオクタン等のハイドロフルオロカーボン類;C3F7OCH3、C4F9OCH3、C4F9OC2H5、C2F5CF(OCH3)C3F7等のハイドロフルオロエーテル類;フォンブリン、ガルデン(ソルベイ製)、デムナム(ダイキン工業(株)製)、クライトックス(ケマーズ製)等のポリ(パーフルオロアルキレンエーテル)類などが挙げられる。
上記反応では、水を添加することが好ましい。加水分解時に使用する水の添加量は、原料のアルコキシ基の全てを加水分解するために必要な量1倍量~5倍量が好ましく、1.5倍量~3倍量が特に好ましい。
反応条件は、通常-5~20℃で、15~300分間が好ましく、0~10℃で30~180分がより好ましい。

〔2〕ヒドロシリル化反応
次に、ハイドロジェンシロキサン(9)に対し、下記式(10a)で表されるオレフィン化合物、及び必要に応じて式(10b)で表されるオレフィン化合物をヒドロシリル化で付加反応させる。

R7はSi-H基と付加反応可能なオレフィン基であり、炭素原子数2~8のアルケニル基が好ましく、例えば、ビニル、アリル、1-プロぺニル、イソプロペニル、1-ブテニル、イソブテニル等が挙げられる。これらの中でもビニル基、アリル基が好ましい。Y2は単結合、又はエーテル結合を含んでもよい2価の有機基であり(但し、酸素原子との結合末端にOを含み、-O-O-結合を生じるものを除く)、環状構造や分岐構造を有してもよい。Y2の2価の有機基としては、炭素原子数1~18、好ましくは1~8のアルキレン基などが挙げられるが、具体的には、例えば、下記構造式で表されるものが挙げられる。Q及びR1は上記のとおりである。
化合物(10a)の添加量は、ハイドロジェンシロキサン(9)のヒドロシリル基1当量に対して0.2~5当量が好ましく、より好ましくは0.5~3当量である。
化合物(10b)を用いる場合、その添加量は、ハイドロジェンシロキサン(9)のヒドロシリル基1当量に対して0.1~0.8当量が好ましく、より好ましくは0.1~0.5当量である。
化合物(10a)及び化合物(10b)を併用する際は、化合物(10a)と化合物(10b)の添加量(質量比)は(10a)/(10b)=50/1~0.5/1の割合であることが好ましい。

付加反応は溶剤を使用しなくても実施可能であるが、必要に応じて溶剤で希釈してもよい。このとき希釈溶剤は、ヒドロシリル化を阻害せず、反応後に生成する下記化合物(11)が可溶であることが好ましく、目的の反応温度で化合物(9)、化合物(10a)、必要により化合物(10b)を溶解するものが好ましい。具体的には、例えば、ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素系溶剤;m-キシレンヘキサフルオライド、ベンゾトリフルオライド等のフッ素変性芳香族炭化水素系溶剤;メチルパーフルオロブチルエーテル、パーフルオロ(2-ブチルテトラヒドロフラン等のフッ素変性エーテル系溶剤などが好ましく、これらの中でも、トルエン、キシレン、m-キシレンヘキサフルオライドが好ましい。
ヒドロシリル化反応には触媒を用いることが好ましい。触媒は、例えば白金、ロジウム、パラジウム等の白金族金属を含む化合物を使用することができる。これらの中でも白金を含む化合物が好ましく、例えば、ヘキサクロロ白金(IV)酸六水和物、白金カルボニルビニルメチル錯体、白金-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体、白金-シクロビニルメチルシロキサン錯体、白金-オクチルアルデヒド/オクタノール錯体、塩化白金酸とオレフィン、アルデヒド、ビニルシロキサン又はアセチレンアルコール類等との錯体、活性炭に担持された白金などを用いることができる。触媒の配合量は、反応系全体の質量に対し、含まれる白金族金属量が0.1~5,000ppmとなる範囲が好ましく、より好ましくは1~1,000ppmである。
付加反応において、各成分を混合する順序は特に制限されないが、例えば化合物(9)、化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と触媒を含む混合物を室温から徐々に付加反応温度まで加熱する方法、化合物(9)と化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と希釈溶媒を含む混合物を目的とする反応温度にまで加熱した後に触媒を添加する方法、目的とする反応温度まで加熱した化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と触媒を含む混合物に化合物(9)を滴下する方法、目的とする反応温度まで加熱した化合物(9)に化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と触媒を含む混合物を滴下する方法などをとることができる。これらの中でも、化合物(9)と化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と希釈溶媒を含む混合物を目的とする反応温度まで加熱した後に触媒を添加する方法、あるいは、目的とする反応温度まで加熱した化合物(9)に化合物(10a)と必要により化合物(10b)と触媒を含む混合物を滴下する方法が特に好ましい。これらの方法は、各成分あるいは混合物を必要に応じて溶剤で希釈して用いることができる。
化合物(9)に、化合物(10a)及び(10b)を付加反応させる場合は、化合物(9)と化合物(10b)の付加反応を行った後に、過剰量の化合物(10a)を用いて付加反応させ、未反応の化合物(10a)を除去精製することが望ましい。このとき、化合物(10a)及び化合物(10b)において、R7、Y2、R1、Qが互いに異なる化合物を混合して用いてもよい。

〔3〕脱保護反応
Qが式(4)で表されるシリル基である場合、その一部又は全てを脱保護することで水素原子に変換し、次に反応させる(メタ)アクリル基を含む酸クロライド化合物との反応点を構築する。なお、本発明において、(メタ)アクリル基とは、アクリル基又はメタクリル基を表す。

脱保護の条件は従来公知の手法を用いることができ、特に限定されず、フッ化物イオンによる方法、酸(ブレンステッド酸、ルイス酸)による方法、塩基(ブレンステッド塩基、ルイス塩基)による方法、中性条件下にて過剰のアルコールを作用させる方法、N-ブロモスクシンイミドや水素化ジイソブチルアルミニウム、パラジウム錯体等による方法などを挙げることができる。これらの中でも酸(ブレンステッド酸、ルイス酸)による方法と、中性条件下にて過剰のアルコールを作用させる方法が好ましく、中性条件下にて過剰のアルコールを作用させる方法が特に好ましい。この際、作用させるアルコールとしては、メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、ペンタノールなどが好ましく、特にメタノール、エタノールが好ましい。アルコールの添加量は、式(4)のシリル基1当量に対して、1~50当量が好ましい。反応条件は、通常50~100℃で、60~1,440分間が好ましい。
〔4〕エステル化反応
上記式(11)におけるシリル基を脱保護した化合物(11’)に含まれるヒドロキシ基の一部若しくは全て、又は化合物(11)のQが水素原子である場合(化合物(11''))のヒドロシリル基の一部若しくは全部を、下記式(12)で表される(メタ)アクリル酸クロライドと反応させ、エステル結合を形成することで、式(1)で表される本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを得ることができる。

上記式(11)におけるシリル基を脱保護した化合物(11’)に含まれるヒドロキシ基の一部若しくは全て、又は化合物(11)のQが水素原子である場合(化合物(11''))のヒドロシリル基の一部若しくは全部を、下記式(12)で表される(メタ)アクリル酸クロライドと反応させ、エステル結合を形成することで、式(1)で表される本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを得ることができる。
化合物(11’)又は(11'')と化合物(12)との反応は、副生する塩酸を中和するために、塩基の存在下で、0~100℃、好ましくは0~80℃の条件で30~180分間両者を混合することで進行する。
塩基の種類は特に限定されないが、例えば、アンモニア、トリメチルアミン、トリエチルアミン、ジイソプロピルアミン、トリプロピルアミン、N,N-ジイソプロピルエチルアミン、トリブチルアミン、ピリジン、N,N-ジメチルアミノピリジン、1,5-ジアザビシクロ[4.3.0]ノネン-5(DBN)、1,8-ジアザビシクロ[5.4.0]ウンデセン-7(DBU)等のアミン化合物;炭酸水素ナトリウム、炭酸水素カリウム、炭酸水素リチウム、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カリウム、炭酸リチウム、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化リチウム、水酸化カリウム等の無機塩基;これらの水溶液などが挙げられる。これらはその1種に限定されず、2種もしくはそれ以上の混合物として使用してもよい。これらの中でも、トリエチルアミン、ピリジン、炭酸水素ナトリウム、炭酸水素カリウム、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウムが好ましく、トリエチルアミンが特に好ましい。

化合物(11’)又は(11'')に対する化合物(12)の配合量は、化合物(11’)又は(11'')が有する水酸基に対して1~10当量が好ましく、1~5当量がより好ましく、1~3当量が特に好ましい。
化合物(12)に対する塩基の配合量は、化合物(12)から発生する塩酸に対して1~10当量が好ましく、1~5当量がより好ましく、1~3当量が特に好ましい。

上記エステル化反応において、各成分の混合順序は特に制限されないが、例えば、化合物(11’)又は(11'')と化合物(12)と塩基を含む混合物を室温から徐々にエステル化反応温度まで加熱する方法、化合物(11’)又は(11'')と化合物(12)を含む混合物を目的の反応温度に加熱した後に塩基を加える方法、化合物(11’)又は(11'')と塩基を含む混合物を目的の反応温度に加熱した後に化合物(12)を加える方法、化合物(12)と塩基を含む混合物を目的の反応温度に加熱した後に化合物(11’)又は(11'')を加える方法、化合物(12)を目的の温度に加熱した後に、化合物(11’)又は(11'')と塩基を含む混合物を滴下する方法などを取ることができる。これらの中でも、化合物(11’)又は(11'')と塩基を含む混合物を目的とする反応温度まで加熱した後に、化合物(12)を滴下する方法が特に好ましい。
これらの方法では、各成分あるいは混合物を必要に応じて溶剤で希釈して用いることができる。希釈に用いる溶媒としては、水酸基及び酸クロライドと反応しない溶剤であれば特に制限なく用いることができるが、具体的には、芳香族炭化水素系溶剤(ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン);フッ素変性芳香族炭化水素系溶剤(m-キシレンヘキサフルオライド、ベンゾトリフルオライド等);フッ素変性エーテル系溶剤(メチルパーフルオロブチルエーテル、パーフルオロ(2-ブチルテトラヒドロフラン)等);ケトン系溶剤(アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロペンタノン、シクロヘキサノン等);エーテル系溶剤(テトラヒドロフラン、ジエチルエーテル、ジイソプロピルエーテル、ジブチルエーテル等)などが好ましい。これらの中でも、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、m-キシレンヘキサフルオライドが好ましい。
このようにして合成された含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、エステル結合を介してアクリル基を有する構造となる。これにより、屈折率を上昇させるウレタン結合を構造中から減量させ、その結果、アクリル基量を減量することなく屈折率を低下させることが可能となる。
[コーティング組成物]
本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、コーティング組成物に添加することにより、被膜表面に防汚性、耐指紋性、撥水性、撥油性を付与することができる。例えば、ハードコート組成物に添加する場合、ハードコート組成物のベースポリマー100質量部に対する含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートの配合量は、好ましくは0.01~20質量部であり、より好ましくは0.05~10質量部である。このような範囲であれば、ハードコート被膜の硬度を損なうことなく表面を十分に覆うことができる。
本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、コーティング組成物に添加することにより、被膜表面に防汚性、耐指紋性、撥水性、撥油性を付与することができる。例えば、ハードコート組成物に添加する場合、ハードコート組成物のベースポリマー100質量部に対する含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートの配合量は、好ましくは0.01~20質量部であり、より好ましくは0.05~10質量部である。このような範囲であれば、ハードコート被膜の硬度を損なうことなく表面を十分に覆うことができる。
また、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、反射防止コーティング組成物に適用することができる。この場合、コーティング組成物のベースポリマー100質量部に対する含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートの配合量は、好ましくは20~500質量部であり、より好ましくは20~300質量部である。このような範囲であれば、被膜の強度を保ちながら低屈折率を有する反射防止膜を提供することができる。
上記コーティング組成物において、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートと混合、硬化可能であれば、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート以外のアクリレート又はウレタンアクリレートを併用することができる。
アクリレートとしては、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ネオペンチルグリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、エチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性ジ(メタ)アクリレート、イソシアヌル酸エチレンオキシド変性トリ(メタ)アクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、グリセロールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、トリス(メタ)アクリロイルオキシエチルフォスフェート、フタル酸水素-(2,2,2-トリ-(メタ)アクリロイルオキシメチル)エチル、グリセロールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールテトラ(メタ)アクリレート、ジトリメチロールプロパンテトラ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールペンタ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート、ソルビトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート等の2~6官能の(メタ)アクリレート化合物、これらの(メタ)アクリレート化合物のエチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシド、エピクロルヒドリン、脂肪酸、アルキル、ウレタン変性品、エポキシ樹脂にアクリル酸を付加させて得られるエポキシアクリレート類、アクリル酸エステル共重合体の側鎖に(メタ)アクリロイル基を導入した共重合体等を含むものが挙げられる。
ウレタンアクリレートとしては、ポリイソシアネートに水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリレートを反応させて得られるもの、ポリイソシアネートと末端ジオールのポリエステルに水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリレートを反応させて得られるもの、ポリオールに過剰のジイソシアネートを反応させて得られるポリイソシアネートに水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリレートを反応させて得られるものなどが挙げられる。これらの中でも、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-ヒドロキシ-3-アクリロイロキシプロピルメタクリレート、及びペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレートから選ばれる水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリレートと、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、トリレンジイソシアネート、及びジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートから選ばれるポリイソシアネートとを反応させたウレタンアクリレート類を含むものが好ましい。
このようなアクリレート又はウレタンアクリレートを含むコーティング組成物としては、市販品を用いてもよく、例えば、「ビームセット」荒川化学工業(株)製、「ユービック」大橋化学工業(株)製、「UVコート」オリジン電気(株)製、「カシューUV」カシュー(株)製、「デソライト」JSR(株)製、「セイカビーム」大日精化工業(株)製、「紫光」日本合成化学(株)製、「フジハード」藤倉化成(株)製、「ダイヤビーム」三菱レイヨン(株)製、「ウルトラバイン」武蔵塗料(株)製などが挙げられる。
なお、本発明のコーティング組成物には、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で任意の添加剤を加えることができる。添加剤の具体例としては、非反応性シリコーンオイル、反応性シリコーンオイル、非反応性シリカ微粒子、反応性シリカ微粒子、非反応性中空シリカ微粒子、反応性中空シリカ微粒子等のシリカ微粒子、シランカップリング剤等の密着付与剤、老化防止剤、防錆剤、着色剤、界面活性剤、レオロジー調整剤、紫外線吸収剤、赤外線吸収剤、蛍光剤、研磨剤、香料、充填剤、フィラー、染顔料、レベリング剤、反応性希釈剤、非反応性高分子樹脂、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、消泡剤、分散剤、帯電防止剤、チキソトロピー付与剤等が挙げられる。
本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、コーティング組成物に配合することで、被膜表面に防汚、撥水・撥油性、耐指紋性、低反射性を付与するのに有用である。これによって、指紋、皮脂、汗等の人脂、化粧品等により汚れ難くなり、汚れが付着した場合であっても拭き取り性に優れ、光の映り込みが抑制された被膜を与える。このため、本発明の化合物は、人体が触れて人脂、化粧品等により汚される可能性のある物品の表面に施与される、塗装膜もしくは保護膜を形成するために使用される、硬化性組成物の添加剤として有用である。
このような物品としては、例えば、光磁気ディスク、CD、LD、DVD、ブルーレイディスク等の光ディスク、ホログラム記録等に代表される光記録媒体;メガネレンズ、プリズム、レンズシート、ペリクル膜、偏光板、光学フィルター、レンチキュラーレンズ、フレネルレンズ、反射防止膜、光ファイバーや光カプラー等の光学部品・光デバイス;CRT、液晶ディスプレイ、プラズマディスプレイ、エレクトロルミネッセンスディスプレイ、背面投写型ディスプレイ、蛍光表示管(VFD)、フィールドエミッションプロジェクションディスプレイ、トナー系ディスプレイ等の各種画面表示機器、特にPC、携帯電話、携帯情報端末、ゲーム機、デジタルカメラ、デジタルビデオカメラ、自動現金引出し預け入れ装置、現金自動支払機、自動販売機、自動車用等のナビゲーション装置、セキュリティーシステム端末等の画像表示装置、及びその操作も行うタッチパネル(タッチセンサー、タッチスクリーン)式画像表示入力装置;携帯電話、携帯情報端末、携帯音楽プレイヤー、携帯ゲーム機、リモートコントローラ、コントローラ、キーボード等、車載装置用パネルスイッチ等の入力装置;携帯電話、携帯情報端末、カメラ、携帯音楽プレイヤー、携帯ゲーム機等の筐体表面;自動車の外装、ピアノ、高級家具、大理石等の塗装及び表面;美術品展示用保護ガラス、ショーウインドー、ショーケース、広告用カバー、フォトスタンド用のカバー、腕時計、自動車用フロントガラス、列車、航空機等の窓ガラス、自動車ヘッドライト、テールランプ等の透明なガラス製又は透明なプラスチック製(アクリル、ポリカーボネート等)部材、各種ミラー部材などが挙げられる。
また、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、紫外線硬化型レジスト液に添加し、露光を行うことで、硬化後のレジスト表面とレジストが除去された部分の撥液性に大きな差を付けることが可能であり、レジスト樹脂表面への現像液や液晶溶液の残存、汚染を防ぐことができる。
以下、実施例及び比較例を示し、本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明は下記の実施例に制限されるものではない。なお、1H-NMR測定はULTRA SHIELD 400 Plus(Bruker社製)を用いて行った。なお、下記例において、Meはメチル基を表す。
[実施例1-1]
乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、還流装置と撹拌装置を備えた5,000mL三口フラスコに、下記式(13)で表される化合物1,255g、テトラメチルジシロキサン665g、メチルエチルケトン1,255g、メタンスルホン酸20gを加え、撹拌しながら5℃まで冷却した。ここにイオン交換水71gを滴下し、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま3時間撹拌を継続した。その後、ハイドロタルサイト(キョーワード500SH、協和化学工業(株)製)を100g加え、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま2時間撹拌を行い、溶剤や過剰のテトラメチルジシロキサンを減圧留去後、ハイドロタルサイトを濾別して下記式(14)で表される無色透明の液体1,130gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(14)190gに対して、アリルオキシトリメチルシラン117g、トルエン229g、及び塩化白金酸/ビニルシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液4.3g(Pt単体として8.3×10-5モルを含有)を混合し、80℃で2時間撹拌した。1H-NMR測定及びFT-IR測定でSi-H基由来のシグナル消失を確認した後、溶剤と過剰のアリルオキシトリメチルシランを減圧留去し、活性炭処理を行った後、濾過することで、下記式(15)で表される淡黄色透明の液体230gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(15)230gに対して、メタノール2,300gを加え、67℃で12時間加熱撹拌することで、副生するトリメチルメトキシシランを常圧留去した後、過剰のメタノールとトリメチルシランとを減圧留去し、下記式(16)で表される淡黄色透明の液体197gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(16)101gに対して、トリエチルアミン41g、ヘキサフルオロ-m-キシレンを505g加え、撹拌しながら60℃まで昇温した。ここにアクリル酸クロライド25gをトルエン50gで希釈した混合物を、内温を55~60℃に維持しながら滴下し、30分撹拌を継続した。次に、エタノール5.8gを内温を55~60℃に維持したまま滴下し、1時間撹拌を継続した。析出した塩を濾別して得られた濾液にハイドロタルサイト(キョーワード500SH、協和化学工業(株)製)5.6gとケイ酸アルミニウム(キョーワード700、協和化学工業(株)製)5.6gとを加えて2時間撹拌後、減圧留去し、ハイドロタルサイト及びケイ酸アルミニウムを濾別することで淡黄色透明の液体56gを得た。
得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(17)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表1に示す。

得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(17)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表1に示す。
[実施例1-2]
乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、還流装置と撹拌装置を備えた5,000mL三口フラスコに、下記式(18)で表される化合物1,237g、テトラメチルジシロキサン443g、メチルエチルケトン1,237g、メタンスルホン酸18gを加え、撹拌しながら5℃まで冷却した。ここにイオン交換水48gを滴下し、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま3時間撹拌を継続した。その後、ハイドロタルサイト(キョーワード500SH、協和化学工業(株)製)を88g加え、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま2時間撹拌を行い、溶剤や過剰のテトラメチルジシロキサンを減圧留去後、ハイドロタルサイトを濾別して、下記式(19)で表される無色透明の液体1,256gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、還流装置と撹拌装置を備えた5,000mL三口フラスコに、下記式(18)で表される化合物1,237g、テトラメチルジシロキサン443g、メチルエチルケトン1,237g、メタンスルホン酸18gを加え、撹拌しながら5℃まで冷却した。ここにイオン交換水48gを滴下し、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま3時間撹拌を継続した。その後、ハイドロタルサイト(キョーワード500SH、協和化学工業(株)製)を88g加え、内温を0~10℃に維持したまま2時間撹拌を行い、溶剤や過剰のテトラメチルジシロキサンを減圧留去後、ハイドロタルサイトを濾別して、下記式(19)で表される無色透明の液体1,256gを得た。
乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(19)363gに対して、アリルオキシトリメチルシラン156g、トルエン436g、及び塩化白金酸/ビニルシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液2.9g(Pt単体として7.3×10-5モルを含有)を混合し、80℃で2時間撹拌した。1H-NMR測定及びFT-IR測定でSi-H基由来のシグナル消失を確認した後、溶剤と過剰のアリルオキシトリメチルシランを減圧留去し、活性炭処理を行った後、濾過することで、下記式(20)で表される淡黄色透明の液体410gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(20)230gに対して、メタノール2,300gを加え、67℃で12時間加熱撹拌することで、副生するトリメチルメトキシシランを常圧留去した後、過剰のメタノールとトリメチルシランとを減圧留去し、下記式(21)で表される淡黄色透明の液体180gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(21)133gに対して、トリエチルアミン34g、ヘキサフルオロ-m-キシレンを663g加え、撹拌しながら60℃まで昇温した。ここにアクリル酸クロライド20gをトルエン40gで希釈した混合物を、内温を55~60℃に維持しながら滴下し、30分撹拌を継続した。次に、エタノール1.8gを内温を55~60℃に維持したまま滴下し、1時間撹拌を継続した。析出した塩を濾別して得られた濾液にハイドロタルサイト(協和化学工業(株)製、キョーワード500SH)7.4gとケイ酸アルミニウム(協和化学工業(株)製、キョーワード700)7.4gとを加えて2時間撹拌後、減圧留去し、ハイドロタルサイト及びケイ酸アルミニウムを濾別することで淡黄色透明の液体102gを得た。
得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(22)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表2に示す。
(式中、a2≧1、b2≧1、a2/b2=0.76であり、a2及びb2が付された括弧内の繰り返し単位の配列は不定であり、パーフルオロポリエーテル鎖の数平均分子量は1,500である。)
得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(22)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表2に示す。
[実施例1-3]
乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、上記化合物(19)121gに対して、アリルグリコール41g、トルエン121g、及び、塩化白金酸/ビニルシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液0.85g(Pt単体として2.2×10-5モルを含有)を混合し、80℃で2時間撹拌した。1H-NMR測定及びFT-IR測定でSi-H基由来のシグナル消失を確認した後、溶剤と過剰のアリルグリコールを減圧留去し、活性炭処理を行った後、濾過することで下記式(23)で表される淡黄色透明の液体122gを得た。

乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、上記化合物(19)121gに対して、アリルグリコール41g、トルエン121g、及び、塩化白金酸/ビニルシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液0.85g(Pt単体として2.2×10-5モルを含有)を混合し、80℃で2時間撹拌した。1H-NMR測定及びFT-IR測定でSi-H基由来のシグナル消失を確認した後、溶剤と過剰のアリルグリコールを減圧留去し、活性炭処理を行った後、濾過することで下記式(23)で表される淡黄色透明の液体122gを得た。
乾燥窒素雰囲気下で、化合物(23)141gに対して、トリエチルアミン27g、ヘキサフルオロ-m-キシレンを707g加え、撹拌しながら60℃まで昇温した。ここにアクリル酸クロライド20gをトルエン40gで希釈した混合物を、内温を55~60℃に維持しながら滴下し、30分撹拌を継続した。次に、エタノール1.8gを内温を55~60℃に維持したまま滴下し、1時間撹拌を継続した。析出した塩を濾別して得られた濾液にハイドロタルサイト(キョーワード500SH、協和化学工業(株)製)7.9gとケイ酸アルミニウム(キョーワード700、協和化学工業(株)製)7.9gとを加えて2時間撹拌後、減圧留去し、ハイドロタルサイト及びケイ酸アルミニウムを濾別することで淡黄色透明の液体112gを得た。
得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(24)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表3に示す。

得られた生成物は1H-NMR測定により下記式(24)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートであることが確認された。1H-NMRスペクトルのケミカルシフトを表3に示す。
[比較例1-1]
下記式(25)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
(式中、a3≧1、b3≧1、a3/b3=0.76であり、a3及びb3が付された括弧内の繰り返し単位の配列は不定であり、パーフルオロポリエーテル鎖の数平均分子量は2,000である。)
下記式(25)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
実施例1-1~1-3、比較例1-1の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートについて、下記方法により評価を行った。結果を表4に示す。
[アクリル当量]
1H-NMRスペクトル解析により得られた構造をもとに、アクリル基1モル当たりの分子量を算出した。
[屈折率]
25℃にて、屈折率計(装置名:RX-7000α、(株)アタゴ製)を用いて測定した。
[アクリル当量]
1H-NMRスペクトル解析により得られた構造をもとに、アクリル基1モル当たりの分子量を算出した。

25℃にて、屈折率計(装置名:RX-7000α、(株)アタゴ製)を用いて測定した。
[実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1]
メチルイソブチルケトン100質量部、4官能アクリレート(A-TMMT、新中村化学工業(株)製)100質量部、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパノン(Omnirad 1173、IGM RESINS B.V.製)2質量部に、含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート(実施例1-1~1-3、比較例1-1)1質量部を混合し、コーティング組成物をそれぞれ調製した。
メチルイソブチルケトン100質量部、4官能アクリレート(A-TMMT、新中村化学工業(株)製)100質量部、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパノン(Omnirad 1173、IGM RESINS B.V.製)2質量部に、含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート(実施例1-1~1-3、比較例1-1)1質量部を混合し、コーティング組成物をそれぞれ調製した。
[比較例2-2]
含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを含まない以外は実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1と同様にコーティング組成物を調製した。
含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを含まない以外は実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1と同様にコーティング組成物を調製した。
[組成物外観]
実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1、2-2のコーティング組成物について、外観を目視により評価した。結果を表5に示す。
[被膜外観]
実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1、2-2のコーティング組成物を、それぞれポリカーボネート板上にスピンコートし、コンベア型紫外線照射装置(アイグラフィックス(株)製)を用いて、窒素雰囲気中600mJ/cm2の紫外線を照射して硬化膜を形成し、外観を目視により評価した。結果を表5に示す。
[水接触角、ヘキサデカン接触角]
上記被膜外観試験で作成した硬化膜について、接触角計(協和界面科学(株)製)を用いて、水接触角、ヘキサデカン接触角を測定した。結果を表5に示す。
実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1、2-2のコーティング組成物について、外観を目視により評価した。結果を表5に示す。
[被膜外観]
実施例2-1~2-3、比較例2-1、2-2のコーティング組成物を、それぞれポリカーボネート板上にスピンコートし、コンベア型紫外線照射装置(アイグラフィックス(株)製)を用いて、窒素雰囲気中600mJ/cm2の紫外線を照射して硬化膜を形成し、外観を目視により評価した。結果を表5に示す。
[水接触角、ヘキサデカン接触角]
上記被膜外観試験で作成した硬化膜について、接触角計(協和界面科学(株)製)を用いて、水接触角、ヘキサデカン接触角を測定した。結果を表5に示す。
表4に示されるように、実施例1-1~1-3の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは比較例1-1のものよりもアクリル当量(g/mol)が小さい(単位質量あたりのアクリル基濃度が大きい)にも関わらず、より低い屈折率を有する。
また、表5に示されるように、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは比較例1-1のものと同等の外観、水接触角、及びヘキサデカン接触角を示し、溶解性及び防汚性を有することが分かる。

以上のように、本発明の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートは、溶解性、低屈折率、防汚性に優れるため、ガラス、樹脂、フィルム、紙、金属、陶器、木材などへのコーティング組成物、印刷物表面の保護膜用組成物、塗料添加剤として有用であるのみならず、低反射膜用添加剤としても有用である。
Claims (10)
- 下記式(1)で表される含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
Qは水素原子、又は下記式(4)で表される基であり、
eは0~2の整数であり、fは0~2の整数であり、gは1~3の整数であり、e+f+gは3である。破線は結合手を表す。}
Zは、それぞれ独立して、下記式で表される2価の有機基である。
- Gが炭素原子数1~6のアルキル基又は上記式(3)で表される基であり、式(3)中のR1がメチル基、エチル基又はn-プロピル基であり、eが1又は2である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項記載の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
- Gが炭素原子数1~3のアルキル基である、請求項5記載の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
- eが0である請求項1~4のいずれか1項記載の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレートを含むコーティング組成物。
- 更に、請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載の含フッ素シロキサンアクリレート以外のアクリレート又はウレタンアクリレートを含む請求項8記載のコーティング組成物。
- 請求項8又は9記載のコーティング組成物の硬化物からなる被膜を有する物品。
