Abstract
Description
負の複屈折を有する位相差フィルムへの市場の要求に対して、フマル酸ジエステル系樹脂及びそれよりなるフィルムが提案されている(例えば、特許文献1~5参照)。
本発明の目的は、フィルムとした際も優れた強度を保持することが期待される高分子量の新規なフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体、それを効率よく製造する方法及びそれを用いたフィルムを提供することにある。
また、本発明の目的は、フィルムとした際も優れた靭性を有する高分子量の新規なフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体、それを効率よく製造する方法及びそれを用いたフィルムを提供することにある。
すなわち、本発明は、フマル酸ジエステル残基単位、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル残基単位及び2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位を含むフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体、それの製造方法、及びそれを用いたフィルムに関するものである。
本発明のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体は、フマル酸ジエステル残基単位、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル残基単位及び2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位を含むフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体である。
ラジカル重合を行う際のラジカル重合開始剤としては、例えば、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド、ラウリルパーオキサイド、オクタノイルパーオキサイド、アセチルパーオキサイド、ジ-t-ブチルパーオキサイド、t-ブチルクミルパーオキサイド、ジクミルパーオキサイド、t-ブチルパーオキシアセテート、t-ブチルパーオキシベンゾエート等の有機過酸化物;2,2’-アゾビス(2,4-ジメチルバレロニトリル)、2,2’-アゾビス(2-ブチロニトリル)、2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロニトリル、ジメチル-2,2’-アゾビスイソブチレート、1,1’-アゾビス(シクロヘキサン-1-カルボニトリル)等のアゾ系開始剤等が挙げられる。
また、ラジカル重合を行う際の重合温度は、ラジカル重合開始剤の分解温度に応じて適宜設定することができ、反応の制御が容易であることから、一般的には30~150℃の範囲で行うことが好ましい。
本発明において、2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位がエステル結合を有する多官能性アクリレートの残基単位である場合、ゲル・パーミエイション・クロマトグラフィー(GPC)により測定した溶出曲線より得られる標準ポリスチレン換算の数平均分子量が60000~500000であることが好ましく、80000~300000であることがさらに好ましい。
なお、実施例により示す諸物性は、以下の方法により測定した。
核磁気共鳴測定装置(日本電子製、商品名JNM-GX270)を用い、プロトン核磁気共鳴分光(1H-NMR)スペクトル分析より求めた。
<数平均分子量の測定>
ゲル・パーミエイション・クロマトグラフィー(GPC)装置(東ソー製、商品名C0-8011(カラムGMHHR―Hを装着))を用い、テトラヒドロフランを溶媒として、40℃で測定し、標準ポリスチレン換算値として求めた。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(95.02モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル2.3g(0.013モル(4.94モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体としてジビニルベンゼン0.014g(1.1×10-4モル(0.04モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.29g(0.0016モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体28.8gを得た(収率:55%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は109000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ジビニルベンゼン残基単位=94.97/4.99/0.04(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.24モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル7.6g(0.043モル(14.66モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体としてジビニルベンゼン0.038g(2.9×10-4モル(0.10モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体32.3gを得た(収率:57%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は110000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ジビニルベンゼン残基単位=82.95/16.95/0.1(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(69.99モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル18.9g(0.107モル(29.96モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体として1,1’-(メチレンジ-4,1-フェニレン)ビスマレイミド0.064g(1.8×10-4モル(0.05モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.39g(0.0023モル(0.64モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体35.2gを得た(収率:51%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は120000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/1,1’-(メチレンジ-4,1-フェニレン)ビスマレイミド残基単位=70.97/28.98/0.05(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.30モル%))、ケイ皮酸メチル7.2g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体として1,4-ブタンジオールジメタクリレート0.02g(8.7×10-5モル(0.03モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.16g(0.0009モル(0.31モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを46℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル系共重合体31.5gを得た(収率:55%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は112000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位/1,4-ブタンジオールジメタクリレート残基単位=85.98/13.99/0.03(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.30モル%))、ケイ皮酸イソプロピル8.4g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体としてジビニルベンゼン0.023g(1.8×10-4モル(0.03モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル系共重合体33.9gを得た(収率:58%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル系共重合体の数平均分子量は102000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位/ジビニルベンゼン残基単位=84.96/14.98/0.06(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジエチル50g(0.29モル(95.67モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル2.3g(0.013モル(4.29モル%))、ラジカル重合性多官能単量体としてジビニルベンゼン0.014g(1.1×10-4モル(0.036モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.29g(0.0016モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジエチル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体27.7gを得た(収率:53%)。
得られたフマル酸ジエチル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は105000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジエチル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ジビニルベンゼン残基単位=95.66/4.29/0.05(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(95.01モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル2.3g(0.013モル(4.94モル%))、トリエチレングリコールジビニルエーテル0.026g(1.3×10-4モル(0.05モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.29g(0.0016モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体27.2gを得た(収率:52%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は108000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=94.96/4.99/0.05(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.05モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル7.6g(0.043モル(14.63モル%))、トリエチレングリコールジビニルエーテル0.19g(9.4×10-4モル(0.32モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体32.3gを得た(収率:56%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は125000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=82.78/16.94/0.28(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(70.00モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル18.9g(0.107モル(29.96モル%))、ジエチレングリコールジビニルエーテル0.025g(1.5×10-4モル(0.04モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.39g(0.0023モル(0.64モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体36.5gを得た(収率:53%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は101000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=70.98/28.98/0.04(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.31モル%))、ケイ皮酸メチル7.2g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ブタンジオールジビニルエーテル0.009g(6.3×10-5モル(0.02モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.16g(0.0009モル(0.31モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを46℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル系共重合体30.9gを得た(収率:54%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は98000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=85.99/13.99/0.02(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.04モル%))、ケイ皮酸イソプロピル8.4g(0.043モル(14.63モル%))、1,4-シクロヘキサンジメタノールジビニルエーテル0.19g(9.7×10-4モル(0.33モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル系共重合体33.9gを得た(収率:58%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル系共重合体の数平均分子量は143000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=84.73/14.97/0.3(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(94.83モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル2.3g(0.013モル(4.93モル%))、アクリル酸2-(ビニロキシエトキシ)エチル0.12g(6.4×10-4モル(0.24モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.29g(0.0016モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体29.3gを得た(収率:56%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル系共重合体の数平均分子量は129000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/ビニルエーテルの残基単位=94.77/4.99/0.24(モル%)であることを確認した。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(95.01モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル2.3g(0.013モル(4.94モル%))、ウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートとしてウレタンアクリレート化合物(商品名)UA-4200(新中村化学工業(株)製)0.156g(1.2×10-4モル(0.045モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.29g(0.0016モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体30.4gを得た(収率:58%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は121000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=94.96/4.99/0.05(モル%)であることを確認した。
フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体をメチルイソブチルケトンに溶解して15重量%の樹脂溶液とし、コーターにより10cm×10cmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム上に流延し、130℃で10分乾燥することにより、厚み30μmのフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体を用いた透明フィルムを得た。得られたフィルムを曲げて端部同士を接触させる屈曲試験を実施したところ、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体層にクラックの発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.23モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル7.6g(0.043モル(14.66モル%))、ウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートとしてウレタンアクリレート化合物(商品名)UA-4200(新中村化学工業(株)製)0.4g(3.1×10-4モル(0.11モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体35.4gを得た(収率:61%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は127000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=82.94/16.94/0.12(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(69.99モル%))、ケイ皮酸エチル18.9g(0.107モル(29.96モル%))、ウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートとしてウレタンアクリレート化合物(商品名)UA-6HA(新中村化学工業(株)製)0.2g(1.7×10-4モル(0.05モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.39g(0.0023モル(0.64モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体37.3gを得た(収率:54%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は129000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=70.98/28.98/0.04(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.30モル%))、ケイ皮酸メチル7.2g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートとしてウレタンアクリレート化合物(商品名)UA-7200(新中村化学工業(株)製)0.12g(8.9×10-5モル(0.03モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.16g(0.0009モル(0.31モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを46℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル/ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体33.2gを得た(収率:58%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は122000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=85.98/13.99/0.03(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.26モル%))、ケイ皮酸イソプロピル8.4g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートとしてウレタンアクリレート化合物(商品名)UA-4200(新中村化学工業(株)製)0.27g(2.1×10-4モル(0.07モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体35.5gを得た(収率:60%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は120000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=84.95/14.97/0.08(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。

得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は121000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=70.98/28.98/0.04(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.30モル%))、ケイ皮酸メチル7.2g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、1,4-ブタンジオールジアクリレート0.018g(8.9×10-5モル(0.03モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.16g(0.0009モル(0.31モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを46℃の恒温槽に入れ、168時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体31.5gを得た(収率:55%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は118000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合樹脂組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=85.98/13.99/0.03(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
容量75mLのガラスアンプルにフマル酸ジイソプロピル50g(0.25モル(85.26モル%))、ケイ皮酸イソプロピル8.4g(0.043モル(14.67モル%))、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート0.063g(2.1×10-4モル(0.07モル%))および重合開始剤であるtert-ブチルパーオキシピバレート0.32g(0.0018モル(0.61モル%))を入れ、窒素置換と抜圧を繰り返したのち減圧状態で熔封した。このアンプルを50℃の恒温槽に入れ、144時間保持することによりラジカル重合を行った。重合反応終了後、アンプルから重合物を取り出し、テトラヒドロフラン400gで溶解させた。このポリマー溶液を3Lのメタノール中に滴下して析出させた後、80℃で10時間真空乾燥することにより、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体34.5gを得た(収率:59%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体の数平均分子量は122000であった。
また、1H-NMR測定により、共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位/アクリレートの残基単位=84.95/14.97/0.08(モル%)であることを確認した。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル-アクリレート系共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、得られた透明フィルムにクラック発生等は見られず、靭性に優れるものであった。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体であるジビニルベンゼンを用いなかった以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体17gを得た(収率:33%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体の数平均分子量は72000と低く、収率も33%と極めて低いものであった。1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位=95/5(モル%)であった。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、曲げ応力を加え始めた早々にフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体層にクラックが発生した。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体であるジビニルベンゼンを用いなかった以外は、実施例2と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体8gを得た(収率:15%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体の数平均分子量は54000と低く、収率も15%と極めて低いものであった。1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位=83/17(モル%)であった。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、曲げ応力を加え始めた早々にフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体層にクラックが発生した。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体である1,1’-(メチレンジ-4,1-フェニレン)ビスマレイミドを用いなかった以外は、実施例3と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体13gを得た(収率:19%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体の数平均分子量は61000と低く、収率も19%と極めて低いものであった。1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位=71/29(モル%)であった。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、曲げ応力を加え始めた早々にフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体層にクラックが発生した。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体である1,4-ブタンジオールジメタクリレートを用いなかった以外は、実施例4と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル共重合体5gを得た(収率:8%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル共重合体の数平均分子量は78000と低く、収率も8%と極めて低いものであった。また、1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位=86/14(モル%)であった。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、曲げ応力を加え始めた早々にフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸メチル共重合体層にクラックが発生した。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体であるジビニルベンゼンを用いなかった以外は、実施例5と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル共重合体11gを得た(収率:18%)。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル共重合体の数平均分子量は49000と低く、収率も18%と極めて低いものであった。また、1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位/ケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位=85/15(モル%)であった。
得られたフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル共重合体を実施例13と同様の方法によりフィルムとし、屈曲試験を実施したところ、曲げ応力を加え始めた早々にフマル酸ジイソプロピル-ケイ皮酸イソプロピル共重合体層にクラックが発生した。
ラジカル重合性多官能単量体であるジビニルベンゼンを用いなかった以外は、実施例6と同様の方法により、フマル酸ジエチル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体11gを得た(収率:21%)。
得られたフマル酸ジエチル-ケイ皮酸エチル共重合体の数平均分子量は54000と低く、収率も21%と極めて低いものであった。1H-NMR測定により得られた共重合体組成はフマル酸ジエチル残基単位/ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位=96/4(モル%)であった。

Claims (13)
- フマル酸ジエステル残基単位、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル残基単位及び2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位を含むフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジエステル残基単位がフマル酸ジエチル残基単位またはフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位である請求項1に記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジエステル残基単位50~98モル%、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル残基単位1~49モル%及び2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位0.01~1モル%を含む請求項1または請求項2に記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位50~98.5モル%、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル残基単位1~49.5モル%及び2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位0.01~0.5モル%を含む請求項1または請求項2に記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- ケイ皮酸エステル残基単位が、ケイ皮酸メチル残基単位、ケイ皮酸エチル残基単位およびケイ皮酸イソプロピル残基単位からなる群より選択される請求項1~請求項4のいずれかに記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル共重合体。
- 2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位が芳香族ポリビニル化合物又は2個以上のラジカル性官能基を有する多官能性ビニルエーテルである請求項1~請求項5のいずれかに記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジエステル残基単位がフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位であり、2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位がウレタン結合を有する多官能性アクリレートの残基単位である請求項1~請求項5のいずれかに記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジエステル残基単位がフマル酸ジイソプロピル残基単位であり、2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体の残基単位がエステル結合を有する多官能性アクリレートの残基単位である請求項1~請求項5のいずれか記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- 標準ポリスチレン換算の数平均分子量が70000~500000である請求項6または請求項7に記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- 標準ポリスチレン換算の数平均分子量が60000~500000である請求項8に記載のフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体。
- フマル酸ジエステル50~98モル%、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を有するケイ皮酸エステル1~49モル%、2個以上のラジカル重合性官能基を有する多官能単量体0.01~1モル%の割合で含む合計単量体を100モル%として、ラジカル重合開始剤0.001~2モル%の存在下、ラジカル重合反応を行うフマル酸ジエステル-ケイ皮酸エステル系共重合体の製造方法。
