Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un profil de joint (1) présentant un pièce de support (2) en forme de U et, fixée à celle-ci, une pièce d'étanchéité (18). La pièce de support (2) est embrochée sur une bride (13) disposée le long de l'ouverture à étanchéiser (16) dans un véhicule. Une première pièce d'étanchéité (18) est conçue en forme de tuyau et entre par une partie (20) de sa surface extérieure en contact étanche avec un élément de fermeture (15). Lorsque l'élément de fermeture (15) est ouvert, une seconde pièce d'étanchéité (22) fait face, à quelque distance (23), à la paroi (21) de la première pièce d'étanchéité, qui est orientée dans le sens contraire à l'élément de fermeture (15). Lorsque l'élément de fermeture (15) est fermé, ladite paroi (21) entre en contact avec la seconde pièce d'étanchéité (22) et entoure avec cette dernière une seconde cavité (24). La seconde pièce d'étanchéité (22) présente un tronçon (28) formé sur la pièce de support (2), une branche (29) partant du tronçon et formant un angle avec lui, et un profil de tuyau (30) avec une troisième cavité (39), formé sur le bord longitudinal dégagé de ladite branche (29).
