Description
№ 710951.The invention relates to methods for producing lanthanum chromite, which can be used in the manufacture of various refractory and electrical products based on it, and is an improvement of the invention according to the author. St. No. 710951.
Согласно известному способу хромит лантана получают путем прокаливани смеси оксидов лантана и хрома, вз тых в стехи- ометрическом соотношении в присутствии оксида лити .According to a known method, lanthanum chromite is produced by calcining a mixture of lanthanum oxides and chromium, taken in a stoichiometric ratio in the presence of lithium oxide.
3.The disadvantage of this method is the low sintering of the final product. The density of ceramic products based on it obtained by sintering at 1700-1720 ° C in air does not exceed 5.19-6.06 g / cm3.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the sinterability of the final product.
This is achieved due to the fact that the mixture of oxides is calcined at 1100-1300 ° C.
П р и м е р 1. 0,4-0,6%.EXAMPLE 1 To a stoichiometric mixture of lanthanum and chromium oxides, 0.3 wt.% Lithium oxide in the form of nitrate is added, the mixture is thoroughly mixed in acetone, dried in air and then calcined in a corundum crucible at 1200 ° C. 1 h. From the obtained lanthanum chromite, a tablet (0 12 mm, h 12-14 mm) is pressed under pressure of 1 t / cm with polyvinyl alcohol (3% solution) added as a binder. The obtained tablets are sintered in air at 1710 ° C for 1 hour. The density of the tablets was 6.38 g / cm. The error in determining the density is 0.4-0.6%.
Примеры 2-20 осуществл ют так же, как пример 1, но при различных значени х температуры прокаливани и количествах введенной добавки оксида лити , в том числе и при услови х известного способа (примеры 13-17).Examples 2-20 are carried out in the same manner as Example 1, but with different values of the calcination temperature and the amounts of the added lithium oxide additive, including under the conditions of a known method (Examples 13-17).
The results are tabulated.
When the calcination temperature is below 1100 ° C, sintering decreases to the level of

Increasing the sintering temperature above 1300 ° C does not increase the sintering effect (example 12), but is associated with excessive unproductive energy consumption.
As can be seen from the table, the implementation of the invention allows to increase the sinterability of the powder of lanthanum chromite powder, which makes it possible to obtain sufficiently dense compositions based on lanthanum chromite at relatively low temperatures of 1700 ° C.
