Abstract

Se describe un cojin de gas que sirve para soportar una hoja de vidrio precalentada y es producido mediante una camara, la cual es conectada a una fuente (21) de gas comprimido. La pared superior (10) de la camara esta adaptada a la forma de la hoja de vidrio y tiene una pluralidad de aberturas para el paso de gas, en forma de boquillas (14), las cuales comprenden una perforacion de entrada (22) y enseguida de ellas un agujero de salida (16) que se ensancha progresivamente, con un area de salida de la boquilla (15). La pared superior (10) de la camara tiene un grado mayor de perforacion (suma de las areas de salida de la boquilla (15) en relacion con el area total de la zona respectiva) en su zona del borde (12, 13) que en su zona central (11). Las boquillas aseguran que no surjan marcaciones de chorro. El gas del cojin de gas tambien puede fluir hacia afuera sin alteracion en el costado, de tal manera que no estan presentes bordes de enfriamiento y se evita asi la aparicion de sombra de enfriamiento.
