Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo para flejar un artículo con una banda plana (2), con cunado menos un marco guía para bandas (9), que presenta un canal guía plano para bandas (17), y con un impulsor de banda (6) para la conducción de la banda (2) en el canal guía para bandas (17), en donde en el marco guía para bandas (9) está dispuesto un dispositivo de apertura, que abre un lado angosto del canal guía para bandas (17), así como a un procedimiento para flejar un objeto con un dispositivo de ese tipo. La invención se propone la tarea de presentar un dispositivo y un procesamiento que permiten una mayor velocidad de trabajo. Esta tarea se resuelve porque el dispositivo de apertura presenta cuando menos un elemento de cubierta (16), que está fijado de forma móvil en el marco guía para bandas (9) y que puede moverse de una posición de cierre en la cual cubre el lado angosto del canal guía para bandas (17), a una posición de apertura, en la cual deja libre el lado angosto del canal guía para bandas (17). Así puede introducirse un nuevo bucle de banda en el canal guía plano para bandas (17), antes de que haya concluido el proceso de soldadura.
