セラミック原料として、炭化珪素粉75質量%及び金属珪素粉25質量%及びこのセラミック原料100質量部に対して、平均粒径45μmの架橋処理澱粉を10質量部加え、さらにメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロポキシルメチルセルロース、界面活性剤、及び水を添加して混合し、真空土練機により可塑性の坏土を作製した。
架橋処理澱粉の添加量を15質量部とした以外は実施例1と同様の原料を用い、同様の方法でハニカム構造の多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
セラミック原料として炭化珪素粉70質量%及び金属珪素粉30質量%とし、隔壁の厚さが381μm、セル密度が31.0セル/cm2(200セル/平方インチ)とした以外は実施例1と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
実施例2の原料にさらに樹脂系造孔材を5質量部添加した以外は実施例2と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
セラミック原料として、炭化珪素粉100質量%とし、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロポキシルメチルセルロース、界面活性剤、及び水を添加して混合し、真空土練機により可塑性の坏土を作製した。
セラミック原料として炭化珪素粉75質量%及び金属珪素粉25質量%とし、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロポキシルメチルセルロース、界面活性剤、及び水を添加して混合し、真空土練機により可塑性の坏土を作製した。
セラミック原料100質量部に対して、平均粒径10μmの架橋処理澱粉を5質量部加えた以外は実施例5と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
セラミック原料100質量部に対して、平均粒径45μmの架橋処理澱粉を10質量部を加えた以外は実施例5と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
実施例1のハニカムフィルターに対して、触媒(γ−アルミナに酸化セリウムを担持したもの)を担持した。
架橋処理デンプンの添加量を18質量部とし、さらに樹脂系造孔材を5質量部添加した以外は実施例1と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
架橋処理デンプンの添加量を0質量部とした以外は実施例1と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
架橋処理デンプンの添加量を0質量部とした以外は実施例7と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
添加した架橋処理デンプンの粒径を10μmとした以外は実施例8と同様の原料を用い同様の方法で多孔質ハニカムフィルターを作製した。
Claims (5)
- 細孔分布を制御した多孔質ハニカムフィルターであって、細孔径15μm以下の細孔容積が0.07cc/cc以下、細孔径40μm以上の細孔容積が0.07cc/cc以下である多孔質ハニカムフィルター。
- 気孔率が40〜75%である請求項1記載の多孔質ハニカムフィルター。
- パーミアビリティが1.5μm2以上である請求項1又は2記載の多孔質ハニカムフィルター。
- 触媒が担持されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の多孔質ハニカムフィルター。
- 非酸化物系セラミックスを原料とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の多孔質ハニカムフィルター。
