Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain accurate digital signals without being effected with jitter, by discriminating the mutual levels of two pulse group outputs different in phase and width, in a signal converter of sampling system. CONSTITUTION:An input analog signal (a) of a pulsizing circuit 2 is given to the input of two comparison circuits 3, 3', respectively, where the conversion to different pulses is made with threshold voltages V1, V2 to output pulse groups (b), (c) with different phase and width, and they are applied to a logic circuit 4 to read in the level of the pulses (b), (c) in synchronizing with the sampling pulse. An output pulse (e) is produced only when the producing timing of two types of pulse signals (b), (c) is normal. Thus, the device is not affected by a jitter included in the signals (b), (c).
