Description
加圧室11の内径形状をプランジャ2に沿う形状とすることで、吐出圧力を高圧化した際、容積効率を低下させる要因となる予圧縮体積(プランジャ2が上死点位置のときの加圧室11の体積)を低減することができる。
Claims (10)
- 加圧室の燃料を加圧するプランジャと、
前記プランジャの往復運動を内周側面で案内するシリンダと、
前記シリンダが配設されるボディと、
を備える高圧燃料供給ポンプであって、
前記シリンダを前記ボディに固定するシリンダホルダ部と、
前記シリンダが前記ボディの下部から挿入されるとともに前記シリンダホルダ部により軸方向上側に付勢されることで前記シリンダの加圧室側上端面が前記ボディと圧接され、当該加圧室側上端面により前記加圧室と低圧燃料部との間をシールするシール部と、を備え、
前記シリンダの全体が前記加圧室側上端面から前記加圧室と反対側に配置されることを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記シリンダの外径側には大径部と小径部とを有し、
前記大径部は前記小径部よりも前記加圧室の側に配置され、前記大径部の前記加圧室側上端面が前記ボディに接触することを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記プランジャの外径側には、大径部と小径部が設けられており、前記プランジャの往復運動にともない体積が増減する前記低圧燃料部が形成される構造であって、
前記低圧燃料部が前記内周側面の径方向外側に位置することを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項2に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記大径部と前記小径部の連結部が、段付き状の段付き部を形成したことを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項2に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記大径部と前記小径部の連結部が、テーパ状のテーパ部を形成したことを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項3に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記低圧燃料部を形成する壁面は、前記シリンダの一部分と前記プランジャの一部分の両方を含むことを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項6に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記加圧室に燃料を吸入する吸入通路と、前記加圧室から燃料を吐出する吐出通路が形成されており、
前記吸入通路ないし前記吐出通路の、前記プランジャに対する軸方向位置が、上死点における前記プランジャの頂点と等しい、ないし前記頂点よりも前記プランジャの上昇方向に位置することを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項7に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記シリンダの外周と前記ボディの間に径方向に形成される隙間が、前記加圧室の内径と前記プランジャの外径の間に径方向に形成される隙間よりも小さいことを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項8に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記シリンダの外周と前記ボディの間に径方向に形成される隙間が、
前記シリンダの外周と前記シリンダホルダ部の内周の間に径方向に形成される隙間よりも小さいことを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、
前記シリンダホルダ部は、前記低圧燃料部の低圧燃料をシールするシール部材を内蔵したシールホルダ部材と、前記シリンダを前記シールホルダ部材を介して前記ボディに付勢する付勢部材とを備え、
前記シールホルダ部材と前記付勢部材との間には、径方向に隙間が形成されることを特徴とする高圧燃料供給ポンプ。
