Description

(a)一つまたはそれ以上の光学スペーサと、

(c)その平面軸の少なくとも一つの回りに対称軸を有する画像アイコン集光素子の周期的平面的なアレイであって、前記対称軸が前記マイクロ画像平面アレイの平面軸と同じ平面軸であり、各集光素子が、多角形のベースマルチゾーン集光素子、関連する画像アイコンの周辺端部が視界から抜け落ちないように関連画像の幅以上の拡大された視野を提供するレンズ、あるいは50ミクロン未満の有効直径を有する非球面集光素子、のいずれかである、
合成倍率マイクロ光学システム及びこれを製造する方法を提供する。
(a)一つまたはそれ以上の光学スペーサと、
(b)その平面軸の内の少なくとも一つの回りに対称軸を有し、光学スペーサ上またはその隣に配置される複数の画像アイコンの周期的平面的なアレイから構成されるマイクロ画像と、
(c)その平面軸の少なくとも一つの回りに対称軸を有する画像アイコン集光素子の周期的平面的なアレイであって、前記対称軸が前記マイクロ画像平面アレイの平面軸と同じ平面軸であり、各集光素子が多角形のベースマルチゾーン集光素子、関連する画像アイコンの周辺端部が視界から抜け落ちないように関連画像アイコンの幅を超える拡大された領域を提供するレンズ、または50ミクロン未満の有効直径を有する非球面集光素子のいずれかである、画像アイコン集光素子の周期的平面アレイと、

モーションの影画像は、光源が移動するにつれて視差直交的に移動する。
ディープの影の画像は光源と同じ方向で移動する。
フロートの影の画像は光源の反対の方向に移動する。
浮揚の影の画像は前記の組み合わせである方向で移動する。
即ち、浮揚のディープ影画像は左右方向では光と同じ方向で移動するが、上下方向では光の方向と反対に移動する、又は浮揚フロート影画像は左右方向では光と反対に移動するが、上下方向では光と同じ方向で移動する、又は浮揚モーション影画像は光の移動に対して視差直交運動を示す。
ユニゾンモーフの影画像は、光源が移動するにつれてモーフィング効果を示す。
(a)一つまたはそれ以上の光学スペーサと、
(b)オプションとしての、光学スペーサの中、上、または隣に配置されるマイクロ画像またはアイコンの一つまたはそれ以上の周期的平面アレイと、
(c)オプションとしての、各マイクロレンズが50ミクロン未満のベース直径を有する、光学スペーサまたは平面的なアイコンアレイのどちらかの上または隣に配置される非円柱形のマイクロレンズの一つまたはそれ以上の周期的平面アレイと、
を備える。
(a)対向する平面的な上面と平面的な下面を有する光学スペーサと、

Claims (18)
- 非円柱レンズの規則正しい二次元アレイを利用してマイクロ画像を拡大し、複数の個別のレンズ及びアイコン画像システムの統合された性能により合成拡大された合成拡大画像を形成するフィルム材料であって、
前記マイクロ画像が微細構造層内の間隙により形成され、
前記微細構造層内の間隙が蒸着金属、染料、又は有色素材料を含む、前記微細構造層とは別の材料で充填又はコーティングされる、フィルム材料。 - 前記フィルム材料が50ミクロン未満の総厚さを有すること、及び
前記レンズが50ミクロン未満の直径を有すること、
の少なくとも1つを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィルム材料。 - 前記マイクロ画像が、前記間隙と、前記微細構造層内の立体領域の組み合わせにより形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のフィルム材料。
- 前記フィルム材料は、
1)前記合成拡大画像が、通常の視差により予想される方向に垂直であるように見える傾きの方向に移動する効果、
2)前記合成拡大画像が、フィルム材料の厚さより視覚的に深い空間平面の上に載っているように見える効果、
3)前記合成拡大画像が、フィルム材料の表面から上に離れた空間平面に載っているように見える効果、
4)前記合成拡大画像が、フィルム材料を回転させると、フィルム材料の厚さより視覚的に深い空間平面上と、フィルム材料の表面から上に離れた空間平面上との間で振れるように見える効果、
5)前記合成拡大画像が、異なる視点から見られたとき、外観、形状、サイズ、及びこれらの組み合わせが変化して見える効果、
6)前記合成拡大画像が、大縮尺の三次元構造を示す効果、

高分子材料からなることができ、前記マイクロ画像を保護する密封層を備え、前記密封層は、透明、半透明、薄い色が付いたもの、有色素、不透明、金属性、磁気性、または、これらの任意の組み合わせであることで、光学効果及び/またはセキュリティと認証のための追加的機能性を提供し、前記追加的機能性が、光学効果、導電率、または静電容量、磁場検出に依存する自動的貨幣認証、検証、追跡調査、計数及び検出システムのサポートを含むこと、

- 前記複数のレンズ間に、前記マイクロ画像の合成拡大に寄与しない間隙を有し、前記レンズ間の間隙が5ミクロン以下であることができる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム材料。
- 前記フィルム材料が印刷情報の上に、前記印刷情報と前記マイクロ画像の両方が、互いの空間的または動的な運動関係で同時に視認されることができるように付与されること、
前記レンズが40ミクロン未満の焦点距離、又は10ミクロンから30ミクロン未満の焦点距離を有すること、
前記合成拡大画像およびその背景が無色または有色であり、前記合成拡大画像及び前記背景の少なくとも1つが、透明、半透明、色素性、金属化されている、蛍光性、燐光性、視覚的可変色、あるいは再帰反射性、のいずれかであること、
前記フィルム材料が重ね刷りされ、前記重ね刷りが前記フィルム材料の最上層のレンズ表面に印刷がなされることを含むこと、
前記レンズが4未満、又は2以下のF値を有すること、
前記レンズ及び前記マイクロ画像が、アクリル、ポリエステルアクリレート、ウレタンアクリレート、ポリプロピレン、エポキシ、ウレタン、又はポリエステルで形成されること、及び
前記フィルム材料が紙に積層されるか、或いはスレッド又はパッチとして提供されること、
の少なくとも1つを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム材料。 - 1)前記マイクロ画像を形成する間隙を充填又はコーティングする前記別の材料が、染料昇華転写により染料が吸収された染料レセプタコーティング材料であること、
2)前記マイクロ画像が、グレイスケールパターン又は色調パターンにより形成されるグレイスケール合成倍率画像または色調合成倍率画像を有し、
(a)前記マイクロ画像が、透明な微細構造マイクロ画像層に、有色素材料または染料で充填される浅浮き彫り微細構造として形成され、前記浅浮き彫り微細構造に充填される有色素材料または染料は、前記マイクロ画像に光学濃度の変動を生じさせるような厚さの変動を有するか、又は
(b)前記マイクロ画像が、透明な浅浮き彫り微細構造マイクロ画像層に、高屈折率材料でコーティングされる浅浮き彫り微細構造として形成されること
及び
3)前記フィルム材料が強力な指向性の光源又は平行光源によって照明されると、前記マイクロ画像の影の画像が形成され、前記強力な指向性の光源がスポットライト又はLEDフラッシュライトを含み、前記平行光源は太陽光を含み、前記マイクロ画像の影の画像は、前記フィルム材料の平面上にあり、前記マイクロ画像と同じ色であり、照明の方向が移動するにつれて移動すること、

- 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム材料が、印刷情報と共に付与されるか、又は組み込まれた基板。
- 前記フィルム材料が、前記基板の表面の一部のみをカバーする、請求項13に記載の基板。
- 前記フィルム材料が少なくとも部分的に透明であり、接着剤により繊維質又は非繊維質基板に接着されること、
前記フィルム材料の上層のレンズ表面に印刷要素が直接付与され、前記印刷要素は前記フィルム材料を越えて伸張するより大きなパターンの一部であること、及び
前記フィルム材料が繊維質又は非繊維質基板の上に予め付与された印刷要素の上に積層されること、
の少なくとも1つを特徴とする、請求項13又は14に記載の基板。 - 前記フィルム材料がウィンドウとして前記基板に組み込まれ、前記基板が非光学基板であり、前記フィルム材料の端縁の少なくともいくつかが非光学基板により捕捉、カバー、あるいは封入されており、前記フィルム材料が前記レンズ側から見られると明確な画像を提示し、前記マイクロ画像側から見られると画像を提示しないこと、
印刷要素が、前記フィルム材料のレンズ表面の上部に適用されることができ、前記印刷要素は前記非光学基板の隣接する領域内に付与される印刷要素と位置合わせされるか、又は一致していること、及び
印刷要素が、前記フィルム材料のマイクロ画像または密封層に適用される印刷要素に位置合わせされるか、又は一致するように、前記非光学基板の反対側に付与されること、
の少なくとも1つを特徴とする、請求項13又は14に記載の基板。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のフィルム材料を有する貨幣。
- 前記フィルム材料が50ミクロン未満、又は45ミクロン未満、又は10〜40ミクロンの総厚さを有すること、
前記レンズが50ミクロン未満、又は30ミクロン未満、又は10〜30ミクロンの有効ベース直径を有すること、
前記フィルム材料が紙幣のセキュリティスレッドとして使用され、ポリマー貨幣の特徴又は紙幣上の特徴を提供すること、
の少なくとも1つを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の貨幣。
