Description
また、請求項1に記載の発明によれば、設定手段により内視鏡挿入部等が挿入される体腔内部位(例えば小腸、大腸等の消化管)に応じた送気流量(又は排気流量)を設定することが可能となる。すなわち、小腸が選択されたのであれば流量Rを設定し、大腸が選択されたのであれば流量R×3のように、体腔内部位(例えば消化管の種類)に応じて流量を設定することが可能となる。したがって、従来、バルーンが膨らんで腸壁にあたり一定圧力Pに達するまでに要する時間が小腸で約10秒、大腸で約30秒であったとしても、上記のように流量を設定することで、大腸におけるバルーン内部圧力が設定圧Pに達するまでの時間(すなわち、バルーンが固定されるまでの時間)が約1/3となり、小腸における所要時間と略等しくなる。すなわち、消化管の種類にかかわらず、バルーン内部圧力が設定圧Pに達するまでの時間(すなわち、バルーンが固定されるまでの時間)差をなくす(もしくは少なくする)ことが可能となり、使い勝手が向上し、効率的な検査、治療が可能となる。
Claims (4)
- 内視鏡の挿入部及び/又は前記内視鏡の挿入部を挿通案内する挿入補助具に装着されたバルーンと、
前記バルーンへの送気流量及び/又は前記バルーンからの排気流量を調節する流量調節手段と、
前記内視鏡の挿入部及び/又は挿入補助具が挿入される体腔内部位を選択させる部位選択手段と、
前記バルーンが予め設定された設定圧に達するまでの所要時間が略等しくなるように、前記部位選択手段によって選択された体腔内部位に応じて送気流量及び/又は排気流量を設定する設定手段と、
前記設定手段によって設定された送気流量及び/又は排気流量となるように前記流量調節手段を制御する制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするバルーン制御装置。 - 内視鏡の手技を選択させる手技選択手段をさらに備え、
前記設定手段は、前記手技選択手段によって選択された手技に応じた送気流量又は排気流量を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルーン制御装置。 - 前記内視鏡の挿入部及び/又は挿入補助具が挿入される被験者の属性を特定させる属性特定手段をさらに備え、
前記設定手段は、前記部位選択手段によって選択された体腔内部位、及び前記属性特定手段によって特定された被験者の属性に応じた送気流量又は排気流量を設定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のバルーン制御装置。 - 前記内視鏡の挿入部及び/又は挿入補助具が挿入される体腔内部位は、消化管であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のバルーン制御装置。
