図1、図4を参照して、まずステップS1において制御装置30は、冷却水の水温Twに基づいてVH過電圧検出閾値VHovを算出する。たとえば、実験に基づいて水温Twと閾値VHovとを対応付けたマップを予め用意しておく。そして、ステップS1において図2の水温センサの出力に基づいてマップを参照して閾値VHovを求めればよい。
図5において、横軸がインバータや電圧コンバータを冷却する冷却水の水温であり、縦軸がVH過電圧検出閾値VHovである。そして、図5に示した冷却水の水温が上昇するにつれて電圧VHovが階段状に増加し、水温が上昇しているときと下降しているときでヒステリシスを2箇所で設けているが、単純な階段状の線としても良い。また、特に階段状でなくても電圧VHovは、直線的または曲線的に変化しても良い。
図7は、本実施の形態の過電圧保護とその解除について説明するための波形図である。
好ましくは、状態検出センサは、温度を検出する水温センサ27を含む。
Claims (6)
- モータ駆動装置であって、
車輪を駆動するためのモータと、
前記モータを駆動するインバータと、
蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置の電圧を昇圧して前記インバータに第1の電圧を供給する電圧コンバータと、
前記電圧コンバータから前記インバータに供給される前記第1の電圧を検出する電圧センサと、
前記モータ駆動装置の部品耐圧に影響を与える値を検出する状態検出センサと、
前記電圧センサの出力に応じて前記インバータおよび前記電圧コンバータの制御を行なう制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第1の電圧が第1の閾値電圧を超えた場合には、前記電圧コンバータの動作を禁止し、その後前記第1の電圧が前記第1の閾値電圧より低い第2の閾値電圧以下に下がったときに前記電圧コンバータに対する動作の禁止を解除し、
前記制御装置は、前記状態検出センサの出力に応じて、前記電圧コンバータの目標電圧と前記第2の閾値電圧とを変化させ、
前記電圧コンバータに対する動作の禁止の解除時には、前記目標電圧と前記第2の閾値電圧とは等しい値に設定される、モータ駆動装置。 - 前記状態検出センサは、気圧を検出するセンサを含む、請求項1に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- 前記状態検出センサは、温度を検出するセンサを含む、請求項1または2に記載のモータ駆動装置。
- モータ駆動装置の制御方法であって、前記モータ駆動装置は、車輪を駆動するためのモータと、前記モータを駆動するインバータと、蓄電装置と、前記蓄電装置の電圧を昇圧して前記インバータに第1の電圧を供給する電圧コンバータと、前記電圧コンバータから前記インバータに供給される前記第1の電圧を検出する電圧センサと、前記モータ駆動装置の部品耐圧に影響を与える値を検出する状態検出センサとを含み、
前記第1の電圧が第1の閾値電圧を超えた場合には、前記電圧コンバータの動作を禁止するステップと、
前記第1の電圧が第1の閾値電圧を超えた後、前記第1の電圧が前記第1の閾値電圧より低い第2の閾値電圧以下に下がったときに前記電圧コンバータに対する動作の禁止を解除するステップと、
前記状態検出センサの出力に応じて前記第2の閾値電圧を変化させるステップと、
前記電圧コンバータに対する動作の禁止の解除時には、前記電圧コンバータの目標電圧を前記状態検出センサの出力に応じて変化させ、かつ前記目標電圧と前記第2の閾値電圧とを等しい値に設定するステップとを備える、モータ駆動装置の制御方法。 - 前記状態検出センサは、気圧を検出するセンサを含む、請求項4に記載のモータ駆動装置の制御方法。
- 前記状態検出センサは、温度を検出するセンサを含む、請求項4または5に記載のモータ駆動装置の制御方法。
