Description
加えて、本発明では、後に反射部側に形成されるギャップ調整層の厚さを、基板の表面から反射部の平坦化膜の表面までの高さと透過部の平坦化膜の表面までの高さとを同じにした場合よりも薄くすることができるように、反射部に対応して設けられる素子層の端部において平坦化膜に対して段差を形成する。これにより、ギャップ調整層を形成するための絶縁膜の厚さ(換言するとギャップ調整層の厚さ:基板からギャップ調整層の表面までの高さ)が薄くなるので、少ない露光量でギャップ調整層の形成が可能となり、良好な反射特性を得るために必要なギャップ調整層の表層への凹凸形成における生産性を改善することができる。
Claims (1)
- 基板上の反射部としての第1領域に素子層を形成する工程と、
前記基板上の前記第1領域と、前記第1領域に隣接する透過部としての第2領域とに渡って、前記素子層を被覆するように平坦化膜を形成する工程と、
前記平坦化膜の前記第1領域に対応する領域に、前記素子層に通じるコンタクトホールを形成する工程と、
前記コンタクトホールを通じて前記素子層に接続されるともに、前記平坦化膜の前記第1領域の前記第2領域側から前記第2領域までを覆うように画素電極を形成する工程と、
前記平坦化膜上の前記第1領域に、表面が平坦な絶縁膜を形成した後、前記絶縁膜の表層に凹凸を形成しベーキングを行うことにより、ギャップ調整層を形成する工程と、
前記ギャップ調整層上に、前記ギャップ調整層の一端で前記画素電極に接続する反射電極を形成する工程とを備え、
前記平坦化膜を形成する工程では、
前記基板の表面から前記平坦化膜の表面までの高さを前記第1領域と前記第2領域との間で同じにした場合よりも、前記ギャップ調整層の厚みが薄くなるように、前記平坦化膜において、前記第1領域および前記第2領域における各表面を平坦としつつ、前記素子層の端部上には段差を形成する
