Abstract
【解決手段】トレッド部2に、センター主溝3Aと、このセンター主溝3Aの両側の一対のショルダー主溝3B、3Bとを具えることにより、一対のセンター陸部5A、5Aが区分された重荷重用空気入りタイヤ1である。このセンター陸部5Aは、所定のセンター横溝6が設けられることにより、複数個のセンターブロック7に区分される。このセンターブロック7には、所定のセンター副溝12が形成される。

Description
図1に示されるように、本実施形態の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある)1は、例えばトラック・バス等の重荷重車両に好適に使用される。

テスト方法は、次のとおりである。
各供試タイヤを、70゜Cのオーブン中で10日間熱老させた後、上記リムにリム組みし、かつ内圧800kPa充填し、高さ2.0mmの突起が付いたドラム試験機(直径1.7m)の上を、速度40km/h、荷重13.36kNで100時間走行させ、ブロック欠けの個数を目視にて確認し、実施例1を100とする指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど良好である。
各供試タイヤを上記リムにリム組みしかつ内圧800kPaを充填して、8.5屯積み2−D車の全輪に装着し、半積載(前輪荷重:26.72kN、後輪荷重:11.38kN)状態で、一般道及び高速道路を10000km走行させて、センター副溝を挟んで隣り合うセンターブロック小片間の高さの差を測定し、この高さの差の逆数を、実施例1を100とする指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど良好である
各供試タイヤを上記リムに条件でリム組みし、上記車両の全輪に装着して、半径100mのアスファルト路面に、水深1.0mm、長さ20mの水たまりを設けたコース上を、70〜90km/hの範囲で速度を段階的に増加させながら前記車両を進入させて、最大横加速度(横G)、及び最大横加速度発生時の速度を測定した。結果は、比較例1を100とする指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど良好であることを示す。
テストの結果を表1に示す。

Claims (4)
- トレッド部に、タイヤ赤道面を跨いでタイヤ周方向にジグザグ状に連続してのびるセンター主溝と、このセンター主溝の両側で、タイヤ周方向にジグザグ状に連続してのびる一対のショルダー主溝とを具えることにより、
前記センター主溝と前記ショルダー主溝との間の一対のセンター陸部が区分された重荷重用空気入りタイヤであって、
前記各センター陸部は、前記ショルダー主溝のタイヤ軸方向内側に突出する内側ジグザグ頂点と、該内側ジグザグ頂点側に突出する前記センター主溝のジグザグ頂点との間を、タイヤ周方向に対して傾斜して継ぐセンター横溝が、前記内側ジグザグ頂点の一つおきに設けられることにより複数個のセンターブロックに区分され、
前記各センターブロックには、前記センター横溝が設けられていないセンター主溝の前記ジグザグ頂点と、前記ショルダー主溝の前記内側ジグザグ頂点との間をタイヤ軸方向に対して傾斜してのびかつ前記センター主溝よりも溝幅が小さいセンター副溝が形成されることを特徴とする重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記各センター陸部は、23〜33個の前記センターブロックを具える請求項1記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記センター副溝は、タイヤ軸方向の両端から前記センターブロックの中央側に向かって段違い状にのびかつタイヤ軸方向に対して10〜30度の角度で傾斜する一対の両側部と、
前記一対の両側部のタイヤ軸方向の内端間を継ぎ、かつ、前記両側部に対して90〜140度の角度で傾斜する中央部とを含んでクランク状に屈曲する請求項1又は2に記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記センター副溝のタイヤ周方向の長さは、前記センター横溝のタイヤ周方向の長さよりも大きい請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。
