Abstract
Un supporto isolante sismico per sostenere un edificio su una fondazione comprende un corpo laminato atto ad essere interposto verticalmente tra le strutture superiore ed inferiore, il corpo laminato comprendendo strati viscoelastici e piastre di irrigidimento tra loro alternati ed avendo un foro definito verticalmente attraverso esso ed un complesso assorbitore d'energia inserito nel foro, per assorbire energia applicata ad esso. Il complesso assorbitore d'energia comprende un blocco di piombo inserito nel foro, il blocco di piombo avendo una parte intermedia trattenuta contro una superficie circonferenziale interna del foro. Il complesso assorbitore d'energia presenta anche un corpo viscoelastico cilindrico disposto tra una superficie circonferenziale esterna di almeno una tra le parti d'estremità superiore ed inferiore del blocco di piombo e la superficie circonferenziale interna del foro.
