Abstract

447,000. Sliding - clasp fastenings. DUCHROW, H., and WITTENBERG, E., Bynov, near Podmokly, Czecho Slovakia. May 22, 1935, No. 14986. [Class 44] A covering strip 3 sewn or woven to the stringer tape 2 to which the interlocking elements 1 are centrally attached is held down on the elements by stitches 6 encircling the elements 1 and lying, on the underface of the elements, in a groove 7 to avoid rubbing by the slider. The slider, Fig. 4, comprises a bottom plate and a top central finger 9 serving to spread the elements which are formed on the top with a cut-away shoulder 11. This central finger moves beneath the covering strips but two stroking arms 10 on the slider move along the top of the covering strips. The front faces of the elements slope down towards the stringer tape.
