503,339. Sliding - clasp fastenings. CORNER, G. H. C., and LIGHTNING FASTENERS, Ltd. Oct. 4, 1937, No. 26877. [Class 44] Sliding-clasp fasteners-with non - metallic fastener elements have a die-cast or moulded slider 1 of non- metallic material with upstanding integral lugs 2, 3 on its upper face on to which is cemented or otherwise stuck a trough-shaped bridge piece 4, which may be of different non-metallic material, by which the pull tab 9 is retained. The bridge piece is formed with recesses or pockets to fit snugly over the sides and tops of the lugs. A locking- prong device may be arranged within the bridge piece.
